wait a minute guys, we are losing sight of the issue here.
i am going to back biomech up here, because he is in a similar boat to me with this.

First of all, I dont see a PB referral link in your signature, so you're not in the same boat. You dont have direct financial incentive to mislead other people (although you do have a minor indirect incentive since you are invested). Unsurprisingly, I dont see you deny this is a Ponzi, unlike biomech.

Secondly, knowingly investing in a ponzi doesnt earn you any integrity points with me regardless of  what you say about it, because you are trying to profit from a scam and your profit will come from future victims. It also enables the scam to continue and gives you the perverse incentive to promote it.

As for AMT; its off topic here, but you are delusional about them. I only needed to glance at  their website for 2 minutes to determine with absolute certainty they were liars and crooks, qed.

AMT screwed the pooch. I didn't endorse them and I have worked with the people suing them to the best of my ability.

I am NOT convinced that pbmining is a ponzi. If I were, I'd take it out of my sig. They've treated me well and I have yet to hear of any of their customers not being paid. It's been long enough that I doubt very much  that it would have been sustainable as a ponzi. My thought from day one is that they are seling half of the hash they purchase, and using that to sustain profitability.

If I'm wrong, I'm wrong. I have no direct proof one way or the other.

Well, I didn´t know that I knew this is a scam but apparently I do
according to puppet.

and because of this - someone who investing money in PBminig "know" what it can be, because almost everything is transparent (or is not), AND because of THAT we can't PBminig call Ponzi Scheme.

Ponzi promoting blah blah

Im so disappointed seeing you of all people,  promote this scam for your own benefit.
When you endorsed AMT's scam after receiving a freebee miner, I gave you the benefit of the doubt. But reading what I read here, it appears I was wrong, you have no integrity.

wait a minute guys, we are losing sight of the issue here.
i am going to back biomech up here, because he is in a similar boat to me with this. we have both purchased minimal amounts of 'GH/s' from pbmining in the first month of their existence, for the exact reason that we are not 100% convinced that there is any mining going on whatsoever - we have bought no more. My own 'contract' has paid back months ago and every week i receive a small amount of btc, which is pure profit... there is no lack of integrity here, just a few guys trying to make a little bit of cash. Now, with regards to AMT... they built miners - quite stable miners in fact... some companies just make mistakes (after the fact) and that is no fault of anyone here. It's like blaming Barack Bin Laden (or whatever his name is) for invading Iraq in 1991/2.

i'm not endorsing pbmining any way whatsoever, but when you go after fellow miners, you lose sight of your actual argument.
yes, probably a ponzi, no - not the fault of those who fall for it.

No variance here.

So far earned 19.1% of last week´s payout
which is exactly in line.

So should someone try the site out?

Well, trying it costs a lousy 15 bucks or so.

Makes more sense than sitting for months or years
on a message board whining about how it must be
a scam.

The two are not mutually exclusive Cheesy

Seriously, though, I agree with you. I'm quite happy with pbmining, but I do wish they'd be more transparent. But they've got their minds set on the course they're on, and they've done well by me.

Yeah, yeah I heard it all before.

I assure you Ive  heard your 'success story' far more often than you heard warnings like mine.
And I know how it ends.

Since you know how it ends I trust you´ll not be rubbing it in
daily. Maybe a monthly update OK ?

Well, I don´t give a flying eff about securing the network.
What I´m after as an investor is yield. As long as they pay
they´re good.

Now; I´m a newbie in bitcoin. Only been into it like six months.
I´m just learning. Bought two bitcoin last summer and haven´t
added anything since. And it´s earning 1.75 BTC/month now.

If you want "yield", you cant beat any of the dice gambling sites. Of course you can lose it all, but the real difference is that those gambling sites will take a predictable and verifiable 1% (or whatever) average cut, and scams like these will take as much as they can. ANd its gonna be more than 1%.

As a more general hint: do not bother investing your bitcoins. Dont. The bitcoins themselves are the investment. You dont invest gold bullion either do you? You may invest *in* gold, but gold doesnt bare interest, and neither does bitcoin. Investing either is a sure way to end up losing it.

Yeah, yeah I heard it all before.

If I´d taken you geniuses seriously I´d have constantly been
averaging down on a falling bitcoin for the past six months
instead of now earning BTC 1.75/month on an original investment
of two BTC.
