Many community members have been claiming lately that altcoins are going to die or at least that 90% of altcoins are doomed. I tend to agree with them that there are many coins and tokens that are pointless and won't survive. Another cathegory are alts with solid foundations but won't manage to fight with their competitors as naturally there are numerous projects with same visions. But if you trust the project you invested in, there is no reason to change your mind just because someone says many altcoins won't succeed. Do your research and trust only your own judgement, because many ALTCOINS ARE HERE TO STAY!

We cannot predict the future of all altcoins in this crypto world. Some altcoins here are existing from the start of this crypto currency and some also are just new. Some just pass by and vanish after a year. But the altcoin that i know will surely survive is the ethereum.

Of course, most altcoins will not survive with such a huge competition that is now available on the market, but most of them are conceived for the sake of a momentary benefit, and not for development, no matter what serious project. Although among them there are also those who will have a great future.

I think you are absolutely right! Altcoins are a phenomenon that won`t go away anymore. Most of them are here to stay.

I think that the altcoins will survive. The second question or all will survive? Here it is possible to argue because it is understandable that weak coins will die and the sons will remain.

Right now the altcoins are definitely taking a beating against bitcoin, people are moving their holdings away from altcoins into bitcoin because of how much strength it has demonstrated relative to the alts. This further made the problem worse be exascerbating the dump, making it spiral further and further out of control. I mean look at NEO, it's now at damn 1/8th of its value Sad

indeed some altcoins will not last long with so much competition at the moment, but that doesn't mean 90% of altcoins will disappear, many new coins continue to grow following current market developments

I believe that some alternative coins will survive. Basically it will be those projects that have a real and popular product. But unfortunately there are very few such projects.
Therefore, those who know how to take risks will get good money. You just need to catch a lucky chance!) who does not risk that does not drink champagne

Naturally, some altcoins will not survive, but new ones with a good product will replace them. This is the market and it is developing, it will always be so.

It is true that a lot of altcoins are going to die. However there are  lot of potential alts which are going to stay here for a long time. For eg. ICX, NEO etc. They have proven there existence since the beginning and they are here to stay.

This is not collect only altcoins with strong vision and backup will survive. There are very big projects in crypto industry which have a great future because because of the teams which back them. There are fake projects which have arleady dissapeared from the market because of lacking many criteria to follow.

Altcoins will survive but not all of them. Some of them are too weak or not so competitive that they have to be. I like altcoins, they are very profitable and active.

Only the strongest alts will survive with good development, team and community behind. Bearish market will kill many shady projects and they will hardly ever recover.

There are so many failed project in market, But With that we can't get a decision that whole altcoins won't survive. When people start to use cryptocurrency as day to day tool, I believe  there are several Altcoins that will use more than bitcoin. And those will survive in long time with providing services to whole world.

Taking into account that many of the "cryptocurrencies" that appear listed in coinmarketcap are not true cryptos, but utilitarian tokens generated to fulfill specific functions and not for general use, in fact I think that in the market there is still a lot of room for growth, although the current tendencies to use all those cryptos for the sole purpose of speculation has taken away much merit from the intense development work that lies behind most of them.

Therefore, I believe that in the long term there will be much more thousands of cryptos, although we should stop focusing on its capability to generate profits to focus on what is really worthwhile: its ability to solve real problems in an increasingly complex world, and technology dependent.

True altcoins will surely survive, those with true purpose, usage and can solve the problem crypto space has been facing and lacking. Those shitcoins that are obviously worthless will soon die because they have no real purpose in the ecosystem and just created solely for the pump and dump scheme.

I agree with you . Most altcoin is made for this purpose and very little altcoin shows true value. I hope all bad altcoin will disappear from this market and only the altcoin is really good so that investors can choose the best way of their own investment

There are a lot of coins on the market, and undoubtedly some of them will not be able to withstand competition, and eventually disappear. But there are new projects, and I do not think that all coins can cease to exist - this is nonsense.
