This opinion is already widely circulated in the Cryptocurrency community.
Indeed there are altcoins that are able to survive the current conditions and there are also falling prices and missing.
I think that depends on every coin because each coin will have its own advantages and disadvantages so it would be wise to always monitor the altcoin price before buying it.
Altcoin isn't completely dead.

There are quite a lot of shitty Altcoins out there that won't survive this bear. No thanks to Ethereum platform, it has given birth to so many useless tokens. No tangible products, just whitepaper and zero implementation of their roadmap. Most of them won't survive this bear. Which is good news for cryptosphere.

I think that in the future there is altcoint that cannot last, but not all, only altcoint is strong and has good potential that will survive, we must be good at choosing altcoint which has good potential to be made an investment

I think only time will tell which altcoins will survive and which will not. Maybe you are right and that only 10% of them will remain liquid. But I still think this will not happen soon, since the era of crypto-currencies is just emerging and all coins have a chance to take their leading position.
Yes, indeed, the crypto currency is almost just beginning and it is too early to say that the altcoins will not survive. In any case, a decent part of them is very efficient and has a perspective for growth and development. I do not think that only ten percent of the current altcoins will survive. There should be much more. Many ICO projects need a lot of time to earn at full power. The future is behind the altcoins.

In my own perceptions, altcoins will not survive when at first it's not meeting the softcap of hardcap. As much as possible you'll be able to determine the actual walkthrough of your altcoins, and sometimes there's an instances that your holding couldn't survive be dead forever. Probably that's the main scenario to occur specially, when the community doesn't have any other improvement to push on their business platform.

EOS and ETH will survive forever and bypass Bitcoin in the future. Bitcoin has met many problems and it has many technical limitations so it will be defeated in the future. EOS and Ethereum have better technologies to become the main currency for us.

They are wrong. Altcoins are here to fill whats lacking in bitcoin. It has all the upgraded versions of securing users and they are meant to last along with bitcoin. Wink

I also think so because approx 90% of altcoins are just shit coins and are made without any concepts or anything...they are just pump and dump...so I tend to agree with them..

Taking into account that many of the "cryptocurrencies" that appear listed in coinmarketcap are not true cryptos, but utilitarian tokens generated to fulfill specific functions and not for general use, in fact I think that in the market there is still a lot of room for growth, although the current tendencies to use all those cryptos for the sole purpose of speculation has taken away much merit from the intense development work that lies behind most of them.

Therefore, I believe that in the long term there will be much more thousands of cryptos, although we should stop focusing on its capability to generate profits to focus on what is really worthwhile: its ability to solve real problems in an increasingly complex world, and technology dependent.

In theory, 90% altcoins should not survive, as investors should not have enough money to keep their projects afloat. However, 70% of them still somehow survive.

They are partially correct. I read that right now there are somewhere around 5,000 to 10,000 different altcoins / tokens in existence. A large part of them are not going to survive in the long term.

Do you believe on that? Cause me Im not. If there are no altcoins the only token we can hold is bitcoin. If that happens then I dont think cryptoworld will come to live again.

I think maybe 5% of the existing alts will survive in 10 years. We will see new better ones come out. The platforms have a much better chance than dapps

Yes, but this does not mean all altcoins, there are many promising Altcoins now. I agree with your opinion "do your research and trust only your own judgment" I hope people can learn more about the altcoin, not blindly obey the opinions of others.

I do not agree with this, in my opinion Altcoint is able to survive, even though this is still difficult to predict but I am optimistic that Altcoint can last a long time

It seems to me. The value of most coins is not very good. It just fluctuates with the fluctuation of the market. When the market is in a low ebb, they will be in bad condition.

That is a false thinking, in my opinion the market is falling down, we should choose some potential coin to hold, maybe only in a short time you will be more successful.

Some of the altcoin will die because there are some altcoin that do not have support or demand anymore but like minero, ethereum and many more altcoin will survive because they have a lot of profits
