Bitcoin is just about 11 year in existence, so we shouldn't expect everyone to know about it especially in a country that has limited access to the internet and low exposure to things happening around the world. Cryptocurrency is still spreading with time and more persons are still going to know about it in less than no time. Some people in the developing countries or under develp are very much with high percentage of being ignorant about it.
Many individuals still don't believe in online investment due to their past experience or news that had been flying around about how dangerous Bitcoin can be since it's has some level of privacy which can be difficult to track. I agree many don't and I feel it is due to lack of global acceptance. Most of the countries recently have bitcoin and other cryptocurrency which have caused a frenzy among the enthusiasts
Some of them are hard to believe in the existence of bitcoin because until now there are still people who think bitcoin is a bubble, I think this happens because the price of bitcoin is often manipulated, but I believe if they learn correctly, bitcoin has many benefits, not even a few people are helped economically.

There are steps that you can do. Making your own social media page, making a youtube channel which for sure will hit the demographic and algorithm of the system through your countrymen. With those little steps, those people that think bitcoin is only for gambling, they will eventually understand that it can be used for almost every purchase and transaction, the same as fiat.

Me too, I am absolutely in your condition too. There are so many my friends or relatives who doesn't know about bitcoin. When I was talking about bitcoin they ask me what it is and I have to explained it to them.
