Friend of Zero Hedge and Cornell Professor Dave Collum appeared on the Quoth the Raven podcast this week and offered his unfiltered (and often profane) 2 hour long take not only on the development of the Delta variant hysteria, but also on Dr. Fauci, vaccinations and the state of lockdowns across the globe.

Collum is the Betty R. Miller Professor of Chemistry and Chemical Biology at Cornell University and holds a PhD, Columbia University, MS, Columbia University, MA, Columbia University and BS, Cornell University.

The duo of Collum and podcast host Chris Irons first talked about Dr. Anthony Fauci, the director of the U.S. National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases (NIAID) and the chief medical advisor to the president, whom Collum referred to as a "pathological liar".

When asked about the FOIA request for Fauci's emails, Collum responded: "They were heavily redacted. One could only imagine what the redaction was. I got the feeling, reading the emails, Fauci was smart enough to know to not, himself, say anything. So Fauci didn't say incriminating things, it was emails to Fauci that were incriminating."

Collum also took exception with the state of the country locking down again. "This is where it just keeps getting darker," he said. "It started out as 'flatten the curve' and that made total sense...at the time it seemed like the scramble was to try and understand it, which I gave credit for them. It was really garbled because everything was 'Anti-Trump' at the time...but where I went off the rails is that it was looking like the pandemic was starting to subside and they weren't stopping."

He continued: "So now what I see, what is confounding to me, which takes me down really dark places. I see panic. Panic, authoritarian levels that we vaccinate. And it's Soviet style propaganda, it's coercion, it's bludgeoning."

During a recent segment of his Fox News show, host Tucker Carlson revealed that some of Fauci's emails obtained via Freedom of Information Act Request (FOIA) bear redactions that suggest he could be the subject of a criminal inquiry – which he clearly should be.

Watching the media coverage – or lack thereof – of Dr. Anthony Fauci's emails and what they mean for the origin of the coronavirus, one is struck by how relentlessly fake everything is, from public health experts to science.

One of the things the emails suggest is that Fauci colluded with Peter Daszak – head of the EcoHealth Alliance, which channeled US research funding to the Wuhan Institute of Virology – to suppress and dismiss any notion that the virus causing Covid-19 may not have evolved naturally.

The gain-of-function research that was conducted at the Wuhan Institute of Virology in Wuhan, China was intended to engineer highly contagious viruses "to learn about treatments and vaccines" to understand how to respond to an actual outbreak. The team that made this research possible was America's very own public health experts at the NIAID, led by none other than Dr. Anthony Fauci, the number one expert in infectious diseases and leader of the federal coronavirus task force.
Fauci continued gain of function coronavirus research by secretly subcontracting it

The original gain-of-function research goes back ten years, with a Netherlands study that involved ferrets. The researchers wanted to see if coronaviruses could be genetically manipulated so they could be transferred through the air. After demonstrating airborne transmission with ferrets, the researchers wanted to replicate contagion in humans. This opened up an entirely new, controversial science that involved manipulation in the genetic code of viruses.

It was Dr. Fauci and the NIAID who funded the first ferret study. Ten years ago, Fauci co-wrote an op-ed in the Washington Post praising the research as "a risk worth taking." He wrote, "Important information and insight can come from generating a potentially dangerous virus in the laboratory…"

The Wuhan virologists found that they could force an influenza virus to mutate and spread via aerosol droplets by injecting the virus from one ferret to another. By engineering the most lethal viruses in a laboratory setting, researchers believed they could better understand how to invent treatments and vaccines in the case of a real outbreak.

The Obama Administration put a halt on gain-of-function virology research in 2014, for fear of viruses leaking from the laboratory. This opened up an opportunity for Dr. Anthony Fauci to subcontract gain-of-function research on coronaviruses. Fauci concealed ongoing research through New York's Eco Health Alliance. Dr. Fauci funded a project there to learn about the risk of new coronaviruses, and how they could emerge from wild animals to rapidly infect humans.

Dr. Fauci used the cover of EcoHealth Alliance to subcontract the research to China's Wuhan Institute of Virology. In order to continue receiving money, the head of the Wuhan lab, Dr. Shi Zhengli, reported back to Fauci on the progress they were making on coronaviruses.
