Hi all, I have been mining until yesterday with some  Quadro's P2200 5GB cards but having issues lately.
I was using -rvram -1 -eres 0  but not working anymore.

CUDA error in CudaProgram.cu:204 : out of memory (2)
Failed to initialize search buffers: out of memory

Thanks in advance for any advice!

Does PhoenixMiner have a GPU max limit? I have a RX580 rig that I cant get to run more than 8 GPU's. It will either immediately shutdown after you start the miner and close the window or it will fail to load the dag file and restart the miner after showing a specific GPU error. All RX 580 cards are 8gb and the O/S is Windows 7.

Miner supports as many gpus as you can get working.  Ive got some 13 gpus rigs on it no issue.
I will add im on linux so maybe a windows (or windows 7) thing.

RTX 3000 series   fellows..

Log file  is here   https://pastebin.com/ffxrrWED

i guess you overclock before DAG creation with a external tool like MSI afterburner, there's the problem, you need to use phoenixminers overclocking feature to make -mcdag 1 work!!

BTW you posted your -cdmpass Avraham20 you need to change that!?

Run phoenixminer as admin, edit your .bat with the following, this is from a Rig with 6x 3070 and 1x 1080, btw straps only works on 1080(ti)s!!:

cd /d %~dp0
PhoenixMiner.exe -proto 2 -coin eth -cdm 0 -pidle 108 -prate 0.18 -nvidia -nvNew 1 -resetoc -fcm 1 -tmax 68 -tt 59 -mcdag 1 -powlim 1:-48,2:-45,3:-45,4:-38,5:-50,6:-46,7:-46 -cclock 1:-680,2:-680,3:-680,4:140,5:-680,6:-680,7:-680 -mclock 1:+1300,2:+1300,3:+1300,4:+1000,5:+1300,6:+1300,7:+1300 -straps 1:0,2:0,3:0,4:2,5:0,6:0,7:0 -gt 0 -mi 12 -tstop 70 -tstart 50

I get "Unable to set memory clock delta to -1000 MHz -error -137"

I am running Evga 3090 with latest nvidia driver 461.72. I am trying to quit using MSI afterburner and insted I am trying to use the phoenixminer overclock settings int the .bat file for my gpu. As a starter I just simply tried to set the memory clock to some not that high value like "-mclock 400".

The DAG file loads, everything runs just fine but my MH/s speed is the basic one and from time to time I get this error "Unable to set memory clock delta to -1000 Mhz - error -137"

*using phoenixminer 5.5c

You may want to know the eth core devs are pushing through a reward reduction. Those profits will not last.
Congratulations on the rig and welcome to the community.

do you know why PhoenixMiner creates a file called "PhoenixMiner.Vexe" in the same directory (with windows process)?

Any chance of a -maxRigSpeed option as a flakey gpu occasionally gives a million gazzillion hash rate that wdog doesnt act on and the pool boots the entire rig for it until a manual miner restart. That particular GPU will work fine without reboot. Have been fine tuning that GPU for a few weeks it has no orderly sense its one with Gremlins, have to run it steady very delicate thing....

Thanks

Hello everyone,

I also wanted to try ETH-mining and ordered some new hardware. New mainboard, new CPU and also a new graphics card:

Operating system: Windows 10 Pro, 64-bit
DirectX version: 12.0
GPU processor: GeForce RTX 2070 SUPER
Driver version: 461.72
Driver type: DCH
Direct3D function level: 12_1
CUDA cores: 2560
Core clock: 1905 MHz
Memory data rate: 14.00 Gbps
Memory interface: 256-bit
Memory bandwidth: 448.06 GB/s
Total available graphics memory: 16347 MB
Dedicated video memory: 8192 MB GDDR6
System video memory: 0 MB
Free system memory: 8155 MB
Video-BIOS-Version: 90.04.86.00.47
IRQ: Not used
Bus: PCI Express x16 Gen3
Device ID: 10DE 1E84 87271043
Part number: G180 0012

However, when I start the Phoenixminer the following error message appears:

https://i.ibb.co/J3z18hH/Unbenannt.png

I have already set changes to all possible settings.  Undecided Firewall and Windows Defender is disabled.

Does anyone here have a tip for what I could try to get the Phoenixminer to start?

Thank you very much.  Smiley

Thanks

no its more involved now days.
you have to manually do it. look on youtube on the red panda mining channel. the specialize in the 5700xt

Having trouble getting my rx 570 8gb Pulse with Samsung memory stable.  Using Windows 10

Use 1 click BIOS editor, flash,  then Phoenixminer to change clocks/volts

I have tried 1130-1150/850 and 2050-2100/860 and none of the times stay stable with a Blue screen hanging in the driver. All seem to run 5-60 minutes.

Any suggestions?  Never had a 570 outside of these paramaters unstable  unless going higher but 1130/2050 are my beginning settings.

Thanks

start with 950-960mv then slowly decrease to see which card crashing

Funny it wasnt this card thats why nothing worked, when I installed this card, it was another card I had to cut back on the memory that had been mining fine. Strange
