What is used to set clocks and voltages on Linux? PhoenixMiner seems unable to set clocks on RX580. ROC-smi is able to set core clock but I struggle when trying to set memory clocks.

Editing /etc/default/grub (GRUB_CMDLINE_LINUX_DEFAULT="amdgpu.ppfeaturemask=0xffffffff" solved it. PhoenixMiner sets clocks an voltages now.

I am new to the this forum and was hoping to find some help with my miner.  I have trouble keeping it online, sometimes it runs for an hour sometimes a day, with the longest ever being 1 week.  When the Phoenix Miner 5.1c does crash sometimes the command prompt window is just closed and other times the computer has rebooted.  Here is my setup.

HP desktop AMD A10, 4GB RAM (have another 4GB ordered), 600W PSU, Windows 10 64-bit.
2x - RX5700 GPU
Radeon driver 20.10.1

I have tried different settings for the cards themselves but nothing has seemed to make a difference, including what I found in previous posts on here, 1350MHz Core, 1750MHz Mem, 780mv.  Thanks for any suggestions anyone has.

nice support He died of obesity, just like Claymore.

Use lolminer, teamredminer. Phoenix Miner Dev is DEAD
I have little free memory left on 4GB graphics cards. I switched to another miner on the hive os. I have chosen the latest teamredminer and will watch the hashrate. I think that in the 375th epoch, no one will be able to mine ether on Claymore or PhoenixMiner. In 10 days there will be more information on how new miners work in practice

Hello miners and devs.

Does anyone solved the problem with R9 390 [Hawaii] and Linux?
Code:
GPU1 GPU1: Allocating DAG for epoch #384 (4.00) GB
GPU1 GPU1: Allocating buffers failed with: clCreateBuffer (-61).
Fatal error detected. Restarting.

Does/will Phoenix Miner support Etchash come the December ETC Fork to Thanos?

https://medium.com/minerstat/etchash-etc-fork-at-block-11-700-000-dag-size-decrease-5083d97a1d46

So far only lolMiner and Nanominer have updated their miners to support ETChash.

Does anyone know how to get stats form the miner?

connecting to a socket and sending

What's going on again ?
I switched from Ethermine to Niceshash (with daggerhashimoto) with my 8gb 1070Ti rig (motherboard has 8Gb of ram) and I see the same issue I had when my motherboard had only 2gb or ram !
The only difference I see between Nicehash and Ethermine is that nicehash request a 4Gb DAG while ethermine starts with 3.8Gb
The speed is halfed and the power usage is reduced by 25% (going from 100w to 75w)
Any ideas ?

Try T-rex miner?
Maybe it's the GPU architecture

Damn, that would be a shame if nvidia 8Gb card cannot mine above 4Gb !!!
Just did a test in -bench with 390 and indeed 4.* Gb seems to kill miners on nvidia 1070ti
Anyone else can test ? (i'm using drivers v 452.06)
I have the same issue with Claymore BTW
Got a 1070 ti here that isn't managing to load the dag.
What about that OhMyGodETHPill for 1080 and 1080Ti?
It came with Nicehash software like forever...
Did you try it for 1070s?

I had an issue with dual mining UBQ
When it mines, for B2S it keeps saying invalid parameters.
Other than that, speed is crazy good on ETH

What is the parameter to disable certificate errors when using SSL?

so ive wound back to version 2004 and its all fine.
i did do a proper DDU on version 2009 but that didnt help
best wishes to all the crazy miners
