Not mine, they already gone to warranty at the shop.

ohh cool, i tried to send some cards to warranty once but they said warranty is void because i mined on them...

I said "max frequency safe", because a friend of mine own 4 cards RX5700 (non XT), keeped them 1 month at -24% power limit, (around 1290-1300MHz GPU core for -24% power limit) and 895MHz memory, everything was flawless, 0 restarts, 0 errors or rig locked. After that he decided to push them all, upper to 920MHz mem, keeping others settings the same, and in couple hours after increase mem at 920MHz, 2 cards from 4, DIED, rog restarted itself and 2 cards unrecognized, cannot load drivers for it, also tested separately on desktop, same sgit, not recognized by drivers, no signal out, etc.  He used as me too, MSI Afterburner. Now 2 cards are go back to warranty.

So, that's why I said "max freq safe", because pusing em up 920MHz for memory, it killed 2 cards.

I keep mines like this (1x 5700 and 4x 5700XT)

i would like to buy your dead cards

Those cards that died, like others 2 that works now (I speak in the name of my friend, wich cards died 2 from 4), keep them under 66 celcius degrees, tipically between 62-64 celcius degrees.

Mines stays all under 60.

So, wich is the max safe memory freq for RX5700(XT), so these cards runs safe? 885, 900, 920MHz?

there's no "max safe" mem frequency. depends on the maker and memory, also on silicon quality, so you need to check each gpu individually. Also 7nm 5700 runs fine at around 750-780mw.

These are my settings:
-tt 58 -cvddc 750 -cclock 1300 -fanmin 0 -mclock 900 -amd -mode 1 -clKernel 1 -clNew 1

Anything higher than 900 mclock (even a 905) crashes after about 5 minutes.

I'm using the XFX 5700XT reference versions.

With these settings it's rock solid.
Between 58C to 60C and pulling between 93 - 95 watts.

Sapphire, reference card (blower turbine fan).
Not sure about the RX5700 reference card , but have had bad experience with reference cards in the past with RX480 few of the cards stooped working after few days.
The OC you are using doesnt seem like it would affect the gpu, its always number of things not just one. Maybe the memory cooling is very bad on these cards which could made issues.

Sapphire, reference card (blower turbine fan).
use AMD -Radeon  Software Adrenalin - program to set frequency at 1388 MHz ,800 mv.
or you can use -OverdriveNTool- program .

Thank you for reply. I'm forced to use Windows as operating system, on that rig couple cards works with Phoenix, couple with Nicehash.

So, 920MHz is SAFE for 5700-5700XT memories (if is achievable under windows)?

If is SAFE, is there any ideea why 2 cards died with 920MHz memory?

Bad lot of cards, or?!? Angry  All power supply are Corsair, so good ones, measured under load is around 12,15Vdc, in idle 12,18Vdc. Cards not exceed 65-68 celcius degrees.
What brand of cards are they, are they the reference version?

A friend of mine bought 4 cards Sapphire RX 5700, simple, not XT.

Those cards works with these settings, for weeks, no one problem appeared.

Also on the rig with 5700XT, I have attached one Sapphire 5700 non XT too, (identically as mine friend own), it works perfect for 3 days, set at -24% power limit, GPU clock and voltage left untouched, mem at 920MHz.

Any ideea why my friend cards died?

Is too much 920MHz for memory?!
My XT and non xt working perfect for 2 weeks now. Using hiveOS. Hashing avarage 53mh for non XT and 54.5 for XT version stable.
XT mem oc is 940
non XT OC is 925

Anyone has tried the
-openclLocalWork 128
-openclGlobalMultiplier 4096

For RX5700 , my XT gets up to 64.5 mh/s but they are getting about 50% incorrect shares. Anyone has found fix for this? http://prntscr.com/qbz3sk
PM is obviously designed to work only with openclLocalWork 32 for RX5700. You are just spending your electricity for incorrect shares if you try values different than 32.

A friend of mine bought 4 cards Sapphire RX 5700, simple, not XT.

He tried to obtain maximum hashrate, setting power limit at -24%, GPU clock and voltage left untouched, mem go up to 930MHz, (if he tried to go above 930MHz, the afterburner slider for memory, goes automatically back to 930MHz, that's maximum achievable).

He left all 4 of them at 920MHz, and all cards worked flawless one day, achieving 53,xxMH for each card.

Today, he found the rig dead and after restart, windows 10 is corrupted.

Moved all 4 cards on a working rig, this one doesn't "see" (recognize) 2 of 4 cards.

Possible 2 cards dead?

I have some Sapphire 5700XT cards, wich freeze instantly the rig if I try go upper 890MHz at memory, I keep all of them at -41% power limit and 885MHz for memory (+10MHz above stock freq), GPU clock and voltage left untouched.

For  53 Mh/s on AMD 5700, use the following configuration

There is no fix for that yet, and from what i have found it is hardware limitation. Don't quote me on that.

it no longer matters which miner you have NVIDIA or AMD, or which Miner software you are running. Does not deliver anything on a lot of electricity costs and sleepless nights all.
as it is now apparently it will not take much longer for all coins to end than zero
