The only thing is that they only show 30 CUs (Computing Units) instead of 60 CUs.
The RX 580s display 36 CUs.
Maybe some scholar knows why ...

It may be because RDNA and RDNA2 both have Dual CUs so Phoenix miner kernel look at it as 30 instead of 60. Maybe in some update they could make it display the AMD conventional count of CUs on RDNA cards.

anyone having issues with RX 6800??

Mine is a SAPPHIRE RX 6800 Reference card

I get 63-64 MH/s using settings on Radeon Software 21.2.3 Windows 10:

Core: 1250 MHz Max (stays @ 1234 MHz)
Core Voltage: 620 mV (stays @ 618 mV) (used MorePowerTool to get this voltage in Radeon Software, and it works flawlessly, the most important factor for me to lower 140w to 115w)
Memory Timing: Fast Timing
VRAM: 2112 MHz (stays @ 2100 MHz)
Custom Fan Curve (stays @ 48% fan speed)
Temp: 56c
Junction Temp: 61c
Power Limit: +15

Power: 115w (stable on 115w, no changes)

PhoenixMiner 5.5c

Added to the config.txt:

Code:
-gpow 100
-prate 0.2 #(yes, $0.18/KWh right now in my country)
-cdmrs
-cdm 2
-log 0

I use Claymore's Ethereum Manager 3.8 to change
Code:
-gpow
or disable the GPU a couple of times during the day (gaming/working).

Is there a way to restart the PhoenixMiner after a set amount of time or minimum hashrate?

anyone having issues with RX 6800??

My 6800 Fighter is constantly fluctuating between 40 and 62mhs, from 100w to 180w, regardless of what settings I input in radeon wattman.
But I dont know if its a compatibility issue, since I have all kind of cards in my rig (2x3080, 3070, 5700xt, 1080ti, 6800) and the Fighter is my main card( the one giving signal to the monitor)
Anyone else experiencing same issue?

Have you tried running them in Afterburner?

I think the settings for RX 6000 series can only be applied in wattman... Otherwise I'm using afterburner for all the other cards.

Totally right, Fast Timming for example is only seteable in Radeon software.

Everthing is good here
I have ASUS TUF Gaming Radeon RX 6800 OC cards with Afterburner 4.6.3 reaching 64.305 MH/s.

-Windows 10 Pro
-Memory RAM 16 GB PC
-All Cards have the same configuration with: Afterburner 4.6.3
-Core voltage 850 (mV)
-Power limit 0
-Core Clock 1200
-memory clock 2150
-Fan speed 50%
-50C to 52C. 126W to 127W

The only thing is that they only show 30 CUs (Computing Units) instead of 60 CUs.
The RX 580s display 36 CUs.
Maybe some scholar knows why ...

User redsnoW told me that to achieve an increase in hashrate in these GPUS, we would need to exceed the memory OC limit and make more time modifications (which are currently blocked)

Excuse my bad English :-)

Is it possible to increase the probability of finding blocks in solo mining mode?
Unless you know what you are doing, in which case you wouldn't be asking, solo mining something like ETH is not recommended. On a coin like ETH you could be mining for a long time with no guarantee of if or when you will solve a block to receive a payout. Besides hashrate there are a lot of variables involved in solo mining. Things like latency, stratum optimization and block scan time are important factors in solo mining. Large ETH pools are highly optimized and therefore you will generally have the best result It's not worth the risk to solo mine just to save on pool fees. Another option is to mine on a pool like ethpool.org where you solo mine and receive credits towards receiving a full block reward once you reach the top of the list.

Bitcoin Talks Bullshit Walks
Is it possible to increase the probability of finding blocks in solo mining mode?

yes and that power is mostly in your hands.   Either the miner has to become more efficient (which at this point would be negligible) allowing more hash per gpu   or you can simply buy more graphics cards increasing your chances of block per second(hash).  Solo mining needs a ton of hash to be regular on payouts or you need to be extremely lucky.  eventually, you will hit one!  what i would do is setup test wallet which will have a low diff. mine testnet coins to make sure your setup for solo is correct.  then move to the legit wallet and wait for the payday

Good Luck

New here, I'm feeling so lost  Huh and have put many hours into trying to get this figured out... actually, tried a few miners too.  Anyways, I'm getting this consistent error when running

CUDA error in CudaProgram.cu:204 : out of memory (2)
GPU1: Failed to initialize search buffers: out of memory
GPY1 initMiner error: Unable to initialize CUDA miner
Fatal error detected. Restarting.

Not sure what Cuda Miner is, I first got into mining by using Cudominer which sounds similar but I've uninstalled it.

Here is my config document setup

-pool us1.ethermine.org:4444
-wal (I put my address).TiberiansRig (I made this up which might be an issue, from what I searched online I choose this name but I could be wrong.)
-proto 3
-cdm 2

Not sure if this issue is with my setup here or somewhere else.  So far I've followed a couple youtube setup tutorials and tried my best at comprehending the how to on here as well as done some basic google searches.  Any help ya'll can give is awesome, thank you!

I'm running a 1660 Super, 6GB ram GPU.
AMD Ryzen 7 3700X 8-Core Processor  3.59 GHz
32GB RAM

It isn't your rig name.

Make certain you are using the latest version of PhoenixMiner which is 5.5c.

What driver are you using? I had this error message and after using DDU then installing studio driver instead of game ready driver resolved the issue for me.

From reading this forum I've seen suggestions to add -eres 0 to the config file to resolve out of memory issues. You should try that before going through the trouble of installing studio drivers.

Hello guys!!
Anonymity is the basis of sustainable decentralization.
I don't use a Nicehash miner although I really like their pool ... And now PhenixMiner is by far one of the best multiplatform miners I know
but I always try to protect my settings as much as I can
including with -log and -mport 0 options to avoid any unwanted external management.
.
And in the most I hope that everything will be solved in tranquility.
Hug to everyone!!
And as we say here in Brazil ...

Any info on why my rig restarts after i install a 4th card?
Miner starts no problem. And from what i have seen in the log there are no errors.
PC just goes off and powers on again cause i have that bios setting.
If it is a power issue what would that be? I have tried 3 different psu's even dual psu setup.
Any help would be much appreciated!

Are the cards directly in the Mobo or on risers?  Tell us more about the setup....maybe we can provide an answer.

All the cards are connected via risers.
I have tried the same risers with some others cards. (Vega's - 3080's) and they worked fine. I have the risers connected either with sata or molex cables..also 2 cards per sata/molex ribbon.
I have started with 6x aorus cards..switched with couple xfxs in case the problem was with some of the aorus..but the same thing happens.
I ve added lidag 3 and gser 3 commands.. that didnt help..

I'd like to modify miner settings at runtime in an automated way without having to press keys at the terminal. I'm attempting to use -cdmrs to reload config.txt, but it doesn't seem to work. Modifying config.txt doesn't trigger a config reload. Am I doing something wrong?

I also tried to figure out how to use the CDM to reload or modify the config, but there doesn't seem to be a command in the JSON API that does this. Am I missing something?

Thanks!
