Will there be or is there public records of how the funds from the budget proposal are being spent?
The budget proposals break down the monthly spend as: development, operations and marketing. We now have a category to help fund exchange listings. Out of those buckets, we pay staff and overhead expenses, in addition to promotional activities and exchange opportunities as they arise. Some expenses we know about up front - going into the month - and others are more opportunistic.
The amount allocated to exchange listings rolls over month-to-month and accumulates if it is not used towards exchange fees. This is ideal due to the high costs of being listed - especially on the top tier exchanges.
The totals for each category are listed in the forum, but not the breakdown of actual expenses after that. In this market, we need to be agile to stay competitive (some plans we abandon and others we snatch up quickly), and sharing some of our strategic plans publicly - before we engage in that activity - could put us at a disadvantage. I'd like to stress that the Phore team very much supports transparency wherever possible.
