Sorry but youre dumb. Its not supposed to "teach us a lesson" and "dont spend your bitcoin" Back then 10,000 for a pizza was a nice deal and anyone of use here would've done the same. The point of a currency is to SPEND it, thats how it grows.
True.

However you should consider it is also stupid to sell/spend everything.

We do love Pizza for Bitcoins.

So much so that I created iTradeBTC.com 2 years ago to instantly deliver Pizza and Amazon Codes.

I recently started accepting some AltCoins and made the name change to www.cryfter.com

Today I sell over 25+ different, instantly downloadable codes. Including over $400 in Pizza Codes always available.

Thanks for looking

I wonder what happened to the coins that were used to buy the pizza.
Has the man to receive them used them wisely or lost them somewhere along the way.

I do think that the guy who spent 10K BTC had more. One does simply not spend all his Bitcoin on 1 product, not now, not back then.

The 10K coins were then used by the restaurant to buy 10 pounds of Pizza Dough Tongue

Haha if I was the owner of that restaurant I would have probably killed myself.  Cheesy
Well this thread is supposed to teach you a lesson. Do not spend your Bitcoin unless you don't have to; what do I mean by this? Yes you should use it as a currency, but get replacement (buy in) if you can.
That is how I do it. There was no point in time that my balance dropped by 5% than I have, even though I bought a lot of things.

It was worth the pizza at the time of this trade even thought we are all jealous now that it wasn't us who sold that pizza  Grin

I'm curious that where is Laszlo right now? Did he suicide or did he keep another 10.000 BTC and now living in a castle in Florida?  Tongue

I believe that he doesnt have any BTC's left, BUT is obviously living. Tongue

I guess he doesn't want to bring attention to himself. It is not often a pizza boy becomes a millionaire from delivering pizza.
