I believe such kind of identification is already normal for any casino which are restricting some countries owed to their license. At least, it will already gives a heads up to any user who comes from prohibited country.

Ideally, support should always be aware of any change in terms and rules and if there's doubt they would clarify first before sending a message.

On the issue of allowing VPN usage, it's pro-privacy and in line with the casinos desire to allow players enjoy the games anonymously and securely. I think all casinos have this first deposit bonus but the percentage varries from casino to casino. Some offer 100% which some offer as high as 200%. Another thing that differentiate one casino from the other is the wagering requirements which for most casino is x10 of the deposit amount. I think this casino has gotten the basic requirement correctly although I'm yet to explore their website to see other features they have and their legal requirements as well.

Well, sorry but not every casino has a first deposit bonus as you claimed or assumed, atleast, I know this because I have tried a few casinos myself for the very first time and there was nothing like a first deposit bonus that was added to my account..
