Finally found my first few blocks, but it's very hard to mine now, because the difficulty is soaring. Grin

Unless you like to watch the value of your coins evaporate everyday, Grimble is very useful.
Grin is a great project, but the with the current monetary supply this coin will we worth nothing in a few months.
I think the devs of Grimble did a pretty decent job of fixing that.

Fixing? ...

OK!

#crysx

Seems like a pretty decent supply curve to me now:

Kool ...

I guess that is one thing that should have been 'fixed'. Any plans on creating 'features' for the coin?

YUP, now it's designed to be Pumped and Dumped.

Have fun with that ninja launch/insta and pre-mine. Smiley

This project is needless, and retarded.
I can not disagree with you, BobLawblaw.
Both Grimble and Bit Grin are needless, and retarded.
In my opinion, they are useless clones of Grin coin.
There is the first clone coin from Grin coin.
[ANN] Grimble [GRB] | PoW Cuckatoo | MimbleWimble |Private | Low Inflation |
I don't see innovative technical ideas from Grimble team, honestly.

so in grin gold miner, how do I connect it to my node?
my node is on a vps
how do I point the rigs there??
But any question for you do you plan announcement update your website ?

Find your grimble-server.toml in ./grimble/main and edit it. Under stratum settings, set false to true and change IP from 127.0.0.1 to 0.0.0.0

Run the wallet: ./grimble and go to the mining tab. Stratum server should be enabled there.

Now point your rigs to: [VPS IP]:4416
username: anything
pass: anything

Hi, I run node on VirtualBox and trying to mine in Windows 10 to the address 127.0.0.1:4416
But it not connect...
What address should I use?
And what login/password should I use in miner?

Make sure your VM is in Bridge mode. Username and password is not important, can be x.
