You're arguments are not even valid and are incorrect.
I was basing my information on that Bitcointalk thread, which was correct... I was merely making an observation.
Basically canna launched a month after c-coin. And the original canna OP post was after c-coin as well.
Those are the only facts you need to know to know that Canna needs to change its ticker...asap.
Additionally, the fact that c-coin is on more exchanges only shoots canna in the foot when it comes to ever getting on those exchanges and it becomes a race as to which coin will be listed first because both coins will not be listed with the same ticker.
Unfortunately, CCN is used for two coins and in my opinion, I actually would prefer XCN, but we are already well on our way and have a much larger userbase at this point than C-coin.
We are not concerned that C-coin is on any exchanges listed as CCN. This won't cause any confusion for our main purpose of the coin because we are building a payment network for NWGT.org and all of our 16,000 users on that forum will have specific instructions on which exchanges to use and how to obtain CCN for their purposes.
Take your pick. But now that you have some activity swirling around in your community it might be best to act now. Just doing the above research showed me cannabiscoin (420) seems to have feet on the ground and is hustling up exclusive deals with dispensaries.
We are not an anonymous group of people on the internet just making some nifty altcoin. We are building very solid payment rails using Cannacoin for NWGT.org as well as businesses and websites currently in the works.
I am for all the cannabis coins and spoke with colleagues years ago (yes years) that the mmj community should be using btc because of all the banking, credit card issues and many of the additional federal laws passed that prevented the safe keeping or transport of funds by the mmj industry.
Good luck with your endeavors. As you can tell, duplicate ticker symbols are a pet peeve of mine. Sorry if it seems "ranty"
Since you are all for coins such as these, why not join forces with us and combine our efforts together? I personally see a way out of this dilemma by working together, having the C-coin team join with the Cannacoin team.
