As an investor this is bad, it is supposed to be only about ROI, money, etc.
...

So what makes you think that the primary use case and objective is how fast you can ROI with this coin?

Hint: It's not.

Adding bells and whistles wherever you can (video, telephony - honestly?) just to please any random speculator certainly isn't the way to go either.

The main reason to buy crypto-currencies should not be to make fast profits, but to partake in an alternative economy which does not benefit the state or other third parties.

Well I agree a little bit with that guy... There hasnt been anything released yet too maintain our price...

Pandacoin's price seems quite stable when compared to other cryptos; most of them have fallen in value in the last month, while PND has lost about 10%. And especially so when compared to Dogecoin!

Imho, Pandacoin's technology is fine as it is. PoS works quite well, the settings are good, and it is easily usable as a currency.
The main focus should be the economy that surrounds it, rather than the coin's technology.

Well I agree a little bit with that guy... There hasnt been anything released yet too maintain our price... (we were stable for 130 litoshi for weeks...) Having said that, I do believe in the dev team... dont forget they made us go from 6/8 liteoshi... too 200+ liteoshi right before POS implentation... That wouldnt have happend if we got a crap dev team behind PND..

So yeah... I agree with the slow releases of new developments.. But I do believe in the dev team...

remember... when a coin has active developers... and a good community.. patience is the key too succes...  Cool

unlike minairia3, I don't think things look gloomy at all.

We have a solid and growing community, desire to make it to big exchanges, competent devs who are in fact working on some things but holding back on the announcements for very obvious reasons.

Not to mention, because of PoS we have a solid network that transfers funds very quickly!

DOGE has become critically saturated with people who would prefer DOGE never to be taken seriously (We all saw this coming of course, when it was based off a meme in the first place).

And I think that's the key distinction we have with PND. Sure, we have a lot of fun on the IRC, but that's because we're a bunch of (mostly) normal people who have a vast array of interests and one of them is cryptocurrency and PND shows potential to us.

If you're holding PND or planning to buy realize things don't happen instantly, but certainly look forward to the future. There's a lot of longevity to this coin as the cryptocurrency for the masses if you put forth the effort to realize that instead of looking for the next pump and dump, get rich quick coin.

Getting worried Panda is going the Dogecoin route:  there's a great community, lots of potential but no innovation. (vague promises re "great things" don't count ...).  Other coins have anon, encrypted SMS, video, telephony, naked cam girls (not ideal for Panda but you get the point) etc.  One coin is based on the price of urea ( a kind of fertilizer).  Sounds silly but the $2.19 valuation this morning for that coin is deadly serious.  Glad I took a leap of faith and got some of those cheap and didn't listen to my BS detector. Another guy is basing a coin around the sale of hard apple cider.  Unique idea; no interest/buzz yet but he's thinking and trying to carve out a niche.

I like Panda. As an investor this is bad, it is supposed to be only about ROI, money, etc. Getting accepted by zoos is wonderful.  I'm not putting that down.  But it also won't keep the value from heading back down to 1 satoshi.  The devs really need to either release something and/or show a definite road-map re their plans.  Otherwise this coin will gradually fade away.

You have to note that the devs themselves hold PND and also want to improve the coin as much as we do.  I'm sure they have a reason for not wanting to give out information (mainly to prevent stuff getting copied, which is really common since everything is open source).

mmmm steak.

I like the idea of the zoo accepting PND and the putting some of the money into to PND4PND fund, seems nice.

Ok, so I have had this idea to integrate PND with my local zoo (San Diego)

We have a Zoo that has a couple of the few remainding Pandas on earth. My initial idea is to get a contract with them that allows us to sell entry tickets on their website for PND. There are a ton of other thing that can be proposed as well, thats why im bringing the idea here for some input.

Please give any ideas you may have

The downside of that is that they will exchange their PND for BTC/$, unless you get them to give away PND with for example sales in their giftshop, like a 100 PND paper wallet with each purchase.

I can see how this would effect us badly, but the essential idea it to market PND on their website. Because of the relatively low price of PND we could front some money to buy a number of tickets then re-sell them on their website, or at least promote it. We would need devs to help integrate the system. As well, we could cut a deal with them that a percentage of sales in PND will go toa charity of their choice that can be added to PND4PND, or one of the 4 charities listed on PND4PND already.

With the exposure attained through their website, the value would also increase there for increasing the value of PND. Our goal is to have them support wildlife with PND and not convert to fiat.

It's a cool project, as all exposure is good exposure.

I remember seeing the devs mention that when pnd is more established, they will be reaching out to established panda related charities like WWF and try to form an official relationship with them.

Having that logo on the website will do wonders!

Exposure and attention are definitely the things we need right now for PND, imo.

Friendly but Firm Reminder:

Pandas!

Keep your wallets open and unlocked for staking. They can still be encrypted and you'll be perfectly safe.

It's making the network more secure. Don't be selfish. If it's not us - then who?

Best Regards
