Legia Warsaw almost always dominate in this league and sometimes they do well even in International competitions like the Champions and Europa League.Having said that it looks like there is no real competition in this league as all other teams can't keep up with Legia Warsaw.

So glad I ran into this thread as I never had looked into betting on the polish league before and the post about Lewie got me to check into it further because to be honest,
The EPL is getting to be kind of static if you ask me with those scoreless draws and needed to spice it up a bit in my parlay bets.

the 21th matchday is now over. there were no big changes at the top and yesterday's match between the 15th place (bielsko-biala) and the 16th place (stal mielec) won stal mielec 2-1 at home. so this two clubs swapped places...
legia can now further extend its lead at the top of the table (after the 20th matchday) and is now 7 points ahead of the clubs from szczecin and czestochowa
There is a very nice competition between the top three teams in the table for the championship now. Legia have had a nice form lately which they won three games and lost only one in their last four games. Pogon weren't good in their last three games that they lost 2 of them and got a draw in one of them. However, Rakow pulled themselves together and won their last two games after a 3-game losing streak. Legia became the champions 6 times in the last 8 seasons and they are going for the 7th one. I wonder if a different team will prevent them from doing it this season.

the city derby ended yesterday in favor of lech poznan. in injury time (90+4) Pedro Tiba scored the winning goal, after warta poznan was still leading 1-0 until the 80 minute.
the compensation was scored by Aron Johannsson in the 80th minute.
the winter newcomer scored now in his 2nd game for lech poznan his second goal.
the second friday match between rakow czestochowa and podbeskidzie bielsko-biała ended 1-0.

another week has passed and the 18th matchday is now over - what is there to report?

the 16th matchday in the polish ekstraklasa brought again a small surprise - bielsko-biala could defeat górnik zabrze with 2-0 at home.
