Supercoin recently released its code and many have gone thru it and seen that its using real multisig anonymous technology. The dev is no longer working on the coin and a new dev team will be taking over so it will be interesting to see where the coin will go in the near future. Keep an eye on it

its funny how you make fun of a webwallet announcement when the coins most of you favour are exactly as innovative on a protocole level as a webwallet.

ah the irony...

Monero has now a webwallet.

Just a matter of time until it is above DRK price on coinmarketcap.

Basic blockchain security is a fundamental issue and I have yet to find any coin that addresses it in a credible way. Or even admits the problem, for that matter.

AnonyMint feels strongly about the issue and also had some ideas about that but he is keeping them to himself for now. He was hinting that the mining should be made unprofitable while at the same time everyone should be able to mine (profitably???). Probably it can't be solved at all, so something else will take over eventually.

I'm hoping Darkcoin will eventually move to pure Proof of Service. PoW as it currently exists is nothing but a liability, pure and simple. Pure PoService + InstanTX + anonymity would make a very attractive package.

Masternodes have the advantage that since a random subset is chosen each time, a vastly greater percentage of the total number of Masternodes is required to have any worthwhile chance of a successful attack vs. mining, however well distributed that mining is.
