I obviously really want this to happen but if I'm honest I'm starting to doubt we'll ever see 10,000 USD bitcoin's.

It really wont happen anytime soon as that price is really out of scale if you look at the supply and demand of bitcoin in the market.

Mainstream adoption has literally stopped.

I think it will take a long time to reach to that value may be around a decade or more, but again we really don't know whether bitcoin will survive till that time or not.

10,000$ is such a high value for bitcoin and i really dont know if it will take it to that level.
If all bitcoin is mined and bitcoin is the primary money then i think it will reach that high.

We don't even know if Bitcoin is still the leading crypto currency when all coins are mined. By that time there is a lot that can happen and maybe there is another currency that will gain much more popularity than Bitcoin. I prefer to focus only on reaching $1000 again for now. Anything higher than that is not part of the question as we are not even close to the $1000 price level.

i don't think bitcoin being the leading cryptocurrency has anything to do with how much of it is mined. it might not be the leading cryptocurrency because of another altcoin someday but that would never be because of the mining percent.
and price of bitcoin is going to be affected (at higher levels) by how much adoption it will have in the future

The adoption of companies to bitcoin is really important if only us users we wont get the price high we need big companies to make the bitcoin last for many years.

Adoption by companies is important part, but even big companies such as Microsoft and Dell accept bitcoin, there aren't any changes in bitcoin price.
I think advertising about bitcoin by companies who adopt bitcoin is very important, otherwise there won't be any difference.

I was taking the mining thing as time example to say that it might be a possibility that Bitcoin gets replaced before all coins are mined. Literally anything can happen till that time.

Bitcoin will never be priced at 10k.
I don't think we'll see $10,000 until the next halving, so roughly around 2020.

You might want to see how this halving goes before such predictions.

never is a bit stupid and too much of a strong prediction, it can certainly go to 10k maybe as a peak onyl but it can go there

actually it make more sense that we can face some stagnation for some more years and then suddenly a boom bring us to that level, than a slowly increase

bitcoin and "slowly increase" are not friend, and never will be

later on 2024 maybe btc will be hard to get then and it will be high on price
but this doesn't mean anything it can go this year or it can go in next 20 years

I call $10k by 2016, but if we keep rising 10 times per year it will be a lot sooner than that.

Even so, I locked in my prediction here:
1 Bitcoin will be worth at least $10,000 by 12/31/2016
http://betsofbitco.in/item?id=1532

I will never call a specific price, just because there are so many contributing factors that prove that pricing doesn't actually matter. And since pricing doesn't matter, there's just no use attempting to make predictions.

Money can be made regardless of what price BTC goes to

It's more about understanding long time behavioral patterns and then directing all your investment activity withing the confines of these patterns

Anything and everything else will only lead you down a dead-end road

2020 is only 4 years away from now. in that 4 years the price will most likely not even reach $2000 (if ever). $10,000 to happen in such a small time frame will mean that the price must grow with around $2400 per year. do you seriously see that happen?

10K will happen but it will take more time then we realize if this halving just comes and go then not before 2028 but if it comes like last time then it quite possible to reach this price in 2024 not before

2024, won't happen earlier, halvongs will happen in 2016,2020 and 2024, si after 3 halving price should be really high,  maybe even 10000$, that would be awesome to see

I think in 2020, which is just 4 years away from now, the price will not be $10,000. In 8-10 years, the price might be $10,000.

I think mid-2018, I think in that year, all the people already know and believe in bitcoin. even everyone already knows how to use them  Smiley

I think the price will reach $10,000 in 5 to 10 years. We need to be patient. Price bubble is not good.

I think it would be more than ten years, $10,000 would only make new users to might just avoid bitcoin as they cannot afford it anymore...so most probably we will not go that high in 10 years.. I hope I am wrong...  Smiley

If they cannot afford 1 bitcoin, they can afford 0.1 or 0.01 ($100). People can always afford some bitcoin.
