well, I'm waiting for that to happen. poloniex is indeed a great exchanger. however, I think, because of the rigors of competition, it's back to back. however, currently the potential for poloniex to rise again is very large. it's just that, we know that binance has become a popular exchanger now, and it's difficult to operate with it.
if Poloniex wants to take back their traders and investors who have left. I think it needs some events they have to do. especially to tie and attract old members who have long been inactive. I think there are many ways for that.

It's been over a year since I left poloniex, and I don't regret it yet, I don't even know what they need to do to get me back, most likely others have to screw up.
for some reason, perhaps because of the popularity of binance which made many traders now enliven the binary exchange rather than poloniex. whereas in the past this exchange was really popular, and had a lot of trade.
Reputation need time to build up and can be destroyed within very short period. Poloniex has survived over years, especially when it was hacked years ago. I don't say Poloniex made appropriate things back in 2017 and early months of 2018, but after Circle stepped in and became owner of Poloniex, things changed. It will be a long journey, that takes a long period, for Poloniex to reconstruct their platform, services, and features to attract traders back.

I do not know if Poloniex can return to occupy a relevant place in the market in the near future, because unfortunately Binance has become a dominant monster that seems to devour everything, and a lot of good quality exchanges have appeared that seem to offer better features than Poloniex, however, I believe that one of the great advantages that will allow it to continue gaining customers is that it has been able to survive over the years, adapting successfully to the constant demands of the market, which I believe has made it a mature and reliable exchange, worthy to recover some of its previous leadership.
It's been over a year since I left poloniex, and I don't regret it yet, I don't even know what they need to do to get me back, most likely others have to screw up.

I Think Poloniex Will Come Back his previous place. Poloniex is biggest and more trusted exchanger. It played great performance in 2017. I am also a treader of poloniex. Poloniex is my Favourite Exchanger . It will be great again there has no doubt .
I believe that Polonex now has every chance to compete with major exchanges since in recent years the project has really added to the development and upgraded its trading system and soon we will see an influx of new users.

Poloniex was the biggest exchange a few years back and the reason for them to piss off their user base is simply because as more coins are being listed and the user base started growing they could not handle everything and the amount of pending issues was growing on a daily basis, some people missing their coins after depositing them and the time it takes to withdraw the coins were really high and you will not hear from their customer care for weeks and those things pushed the users to other exchanges and during that time binance was launched and they took over the number one position in a short period of time.
I had issues with them in the past and it took three weeks to get the coins and i never visited them since, there are a lot of exchanges in the market and if some exchange is giving a better service than the rest, sure they can be number one again.
I experienced that period, but I only experienced delay of deposits or withdrawals. Coins missed on Poloniex, I have never exprienced such things. I agreed that during that period, Supports on Poloniex was terrible, then Bittrex took over Poloniex, and after months later Binance surpassed both Bittrex, and Poloniex. For delayed deposits, or withdrawals, that partially came from terrible issues of Bitcoin and Ethereum networks during that period. Most of exchanges had to consolidate their customers withdrawals into each batch to reduce transaction fees. Of course, there were other issuess with other coins, not only BTC and ETH.I had issues with them in the past and it took three weeks to get the coins and i never visited them since, there are a lot of exchanges in the market and if some exchange is giving a better service than the rest, sure they can be number one again.
By now, everything (or most of major things) solved, and Poloniex has smooth trading operations, as well as fast customer supports. KYCs verifications passed by their team so fastly.

I think that Poloniex was one of the early crypto exchanges, but it already lost the race with Binance and Coinbase. It will be very hard to catch up, unless some new breakthrough technology is implemented by the Poloniex team.
Poloniex was an awesome exchange, but as soon as Binance has entered the market space, I nearly forgot about Poloniex. Hope they are going to increase their user base, integrate some more new features and at the end are going to be on top again.

It was after that event that i switched to a better exchange which is now known as the most famous exchange in the world(Binance Exchange). Poloniex would have been among the best if not their KYC.

I have seen these news and there are still many people who still use Poloniex. I think they should launchpad settings like Binance to attract more traders and investors.
As you can see, Binance constantly offers successful projects and helps many investors to be profitable. After that, they trusted and loved Binance more and always bought many BNB coins in the past.

I am hoping for their success also, it's very risky for us traders that only Binance will dominate the market, we need more bigger exchange so when worst situation comes, we have an option where to trade and this could also create a healthy competition in the market.

It is exactly that we don't need to see Binance dominates the crypto market, from exchange tradings to margin tradings, from centralized to decentralized exchanges. I am very familiar with Poloniex, but as your raised above there are more reputable old exchange, not only Poloniex, such as Bittrex. However, between Poloniex and Bittrex, I would prefer to trade on Bittrex, mainly because Poloniex gives margin tradings. The exchange's simple design of Poloniex is another component I like. There's lots of exchanges now with great volume as Binance, but I'm not using it as I'm not comfortable with them, I just love Poloniex as it was one of the earliest in the crypto space and I have been using it in the early stage.
