Just log on to Coinotron website and create LTC worker ( if you don't have one), then use one of the following miners:

wouldn't it be easier to simply make an automatic change to stratum like slush, bitminter, and everyone else ? any one with stratum capable miner would go to stratum regardles of configuration and port setting. better for miners, better for pool, no problems with bad port.
Our main goal is to make transition as safe as possible. Also you must remember that all mentioned pools support only BTC while we have to support 5 currencies. So under the hood things are little more complicated here.

as 2 bugs were found moving TRC to stratum... and not everyone having the latest mining software installed on their PC to do stratum mining I thank coinotron for running stratum alongside the normal mining. Also it allowed a testing environment that people could chose to adopt into and get a little extra reward for helping test... so coinotron gets big thumbs up from me for doing it this way.

@coinotron - Just as a point of interest I have left my mining rig pointed at Bitparking for the last few days and my stats on their stratum pool for BTC merged mining is
Accepted: 17300 Rejected: 317
so much better stale rate from their pool.... which is a shame as I love ur site .... but maybe that because TRC is much faster block rate as opposed to BTC.... If you are looking to implement Stratum on ur BTC pool then I'll point my miner there and see what accepted:stale rate I get.... but just thought u should know
My stats say that on average TRC blocks come at 4 times higher rate than BTC ones. That is probably the reason.
BTC Stratum will be available at Coinotron very soon.
BTW. You could test your miners on our current getwork pool. ATM stale rate is ca 0.5 % - because of small number of miners.

Considering 2 minutes TRC blocks it is quite good. But, actually your miner has one of the worst stales ratio.
For example crazy_rabbit had 5/3000 ratio, scrybe 1/800.
I looked into log and found several cases when pool has detected new block, sent new work to all and 1-3 sec later your miner submitted share for previous block. They all are counted as stales. Are you using some kind of proxy?
Its what I get for living on a boat and having a dongle for internet connection, most likely the cause!! but ty for the comparison.. something i am a little concerned about when i have 60Ghashs running here in a month or 2

"Pool 1 is hiding block contents from us" = Stratum working! 
Hmm, to be honest the message itself is quite obscure, but I like your interpretation
