what makes you think that reconnect issue has been solved?
It is solved for anyone that patched or updated their mining software.
This is a rather simplistic view, like many of your others. Where do you think that client.reconnect command originated anyway? It was not sent by your legitimate stratum servers, that's for sure. And not just anyone can send it, it must arrive on your open stratum connection, or forged to look like it, in order to be processed. Or the attacker must have been able to break your active stratum connection, or wait for it to break naturally, and then redirect you to a rogue server in order to send you that client.reconnect command. And if they can redirect you to to a rogue server, then you are still vulnerable, as that component of the attack has not been mitigated as far as we all know. They could adapt their attack to keep you captured there, instead of redirecting elsewhere.
By reading your posts on the last page, it is clear that you have accumulated some knowledge of networking, but what you don't know you seem to fill in with speculation and guesswork, and then pass them off as fact. Others take note, that while he does sound confident that he knows what he is talking about, there are indeed several inaccuracies in his assertions.
Hawking once said, "The greatest enemy of knowledge is not ignorance, it is the illusion of knowledge". It is perfectly fine to admit that you don't know something. For only after such an admission is it possible to learn.
