Temps are MUCH lower with X11 give it a try Smiley

You can get 2 - 2.1Mh easy with your 750ti.
My ccminer:
setx GPU_MAX_ALLOC_PERCENT 100
setx GPU_USE_SYNC_OBJECTS 1
ccminer50.exe --algo=x11 -o stratum+tcp://eu.wafflepool.com:3331 -u xxxx -p d=0.008

Overclock setting:

I guess I could, but currently I'm limited with my overclocking potential, since all of the four cards are so tightly packed together. So even with this happy little gpu, the temps tend to go really high really fast. I'll probably try with a different setup with risers later, but for now this has to do.

But I'm still curious why the difference in MHash between pools.

I am very green to mining.  I currently use BMAT for scrypt mining with 2 AMD R7970HD cards.  I would like to switch over to the X11 when it becomes available but as I understand it BMAT won't do X11 mining.  Since I need an operating system that will run off a USB stick could someone please give me some help or suggestions on how to go about this?  Thanks in advance!

I personally haven't tried it, but I think this is what you might want to look into: https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/pimp-os-is-the-fastest-and-easiest-way-to-mine-all-crypto-currencies-558715

Hi guys,

I have 4 750ti's running X11 and in another pool they all average at about 1750 khash/s (as reported by ccminer). However, in Wafflepool I get only about 1550 per gpu, with everything else in the environment exactly the same. I was wondering why that might be. I've tried a couple of different difficulty settings, but they don't seem to make a difference in this regard.

Alright, I have about 340 Mh/s thrown at the X11 beta, lets test this puppy out... Thanks for your hard work PW!

I can confirm that catalyst 14.6 beta increases hashrate on x11mod from 3.1 to 3.7 HOWEVER I am getting absolutely no shares accepted.  Going back to 14.4.

EDIT: 14.4 working fine with x11mod.  14.6 beta breaks something in x11mod.cl (darkcoin.cl works on 14.6)

Yep Sad

See here: https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/new-amd-drivers-146-possible-speed-increase-627142

Make sure you completely remove the amd drivers when reverting back!

I used DDU to get rid of 14.6.  I fought x11mod for a day trying to get it going on 14.6 LOL.

14.6 broken Sad

And i'm so glad you guys know what you're doing, because otherwise I get a ton of emails like "shits broke, fix it", and can't find the problem Smiley

Clearly the problem is with the new OpenCL implementation as I had to delete all the *.bin files generated with 14.6 to get 14.4 working again ...

Good to know, thanks Smiley

The 4x is just what I had picked up from other places around the web.  Eventually we'll move to client-specified (saved via cookie) for the multipliers, cause for some of you, a 120% X11 is worse than a 105% Scrypt-N, etc.
Good idea to make it a multiplier set in cookie so I can get accurate judge of which algo to mine ...

I'm getting 3.0MHs consistent X11 with 280X which only did 730KHs on scrypt = 5X ratio ...

Good to know, thanks Smiley

Thanks, getting 3.0MHs from 280X now.

Had to limit to I=15, I=16 crashes 14.4 catalyst, might try 14.6 beta I've heard it is an impressive boost in hashrate ...

Going to mess with another box now with the 7950 Smiley

R9280X sgminer 4.1 x11x13mod
EDIT: I could use a config for 7950 also

Here is what works for me.

280X = 3 MH/s

    "intensity": "16",
    "thread-concurrency": "8192",
    "vectors" : "1",
    "gpu-engine" : "1045",

    "gpu-powertune" : "-20",
    "lookup-gap" : "2",
    "gpu-threads" : "2",
    "kernel": "x11mod",

7950 = 2.63 MH/s

    "gpu-powertune" : "0",
    "lookup-gap" : "2",
    "gpu-threads" : "1",
    "kernel": "x11mod",

These are fairly conservative settings, I just mostly copied them over from an old scrypt config and got 4x X11 rate, so I didn't bother yet to go any further. If you can get these to work you can try adjusting gpu-engine up, gpu-memclock can probably be lowered. You can also experiment with xintensity and/or thread-concurrency.

x11mod = 3.7Mhs and no shares + HW errors
darkcoin = 2.2MHs and getting shares

What kind of GPU(s) are you using? If it's one of 7950/280X/270X/290 I can give you some settings to try with x11mod that work for me.
