Moon out window. Red bull  coke, coffee. It's 5.46 and we are nearly there! We're now running up 1000 virtual servers (amazon instances) to re run a check on every blockchain transaction. We have the code all in place. Just more testing. Pretty darn confident of launch later today but we will need a bit of sleep first I think!

Looking good!! To all the spammers and haters that have been posting shit about ETN:

When we do finally get access to our coins can they be moved directly to an exchange or do they have to go to that earlier created paper wallet then moved?
I would also like to know this.

Cryptopia requires a transaction ID to be sent with the payment. Will we be able to include this when moving our coins from the website?

surely you will! This is the nature of this coin ^^

How ?? When you generate a paper wallet and want to send your ETN to that wallet ? There is no ID

You have to add your paper wallet to the cli wallet on your pc, before you send them to the exchange with a payment id. The cli wallet will allow you to send it with a payment id.

Need a few curious testers over here to catch some blocks and get withdrawals rolling:

https://etn.suprnova.cc

Don't move much over yet as I've got to test payments currently.. Directly to wallets were tested fine, Cryptopia needs to be tested with multiple users and then it should be fine.

I am trying to give it a test using Linux-x64 (Ubuntu 16.04) - but I get a:
Code:
JSON-RPC call failed: {
   "code": -1,
   "message": "invalid method"
}

Hmm, with what miner ? Or.. How do you try to mine ?
Is the pool up and running yet or still in test mode ??

Good news ... Suprnova added ETN pool...will try one more day mining with them...
 if i don't see some ETN  after this attempt ....I'm giving up on the coin...as my miner i need to supply the demand or or move on.

https://etn.suprnova.cc

I've already given up mining it and gone back to ETH which by my calcs is more profitable.  Will keep an eye on what happens when the ICO coins get released though... gonna be very interesting to see how many decimal places this coin gets sold down to.

ETN is still more profitable , plus my rigs run at 50% the power draw on cryptonight compared to Ethash

For people who mined to the wallet address and its showing 0 balance this is what you have to do to recover your coins .. this is a modified verson of the monero help file adjusted for electroneum

Retrieve your 25 word mnemonic seed that you saved when creating your electroneum wallet

Open a command prompt (windows ctrl+r ) and navigate to the drive and directory that contains electroneum-wallet-cli ( on the command line type "cd desktop\win-x64-0.11.0.0" or where ever you have it located and no "

At the command prompt type: electroneum-wallet-cli --restore-deterministic-wallet

Once you press enter you will be prompted for a wallet file name. Give your wallet a new name, any name will do

Press enter again and you will be prompted for a password. Give your wallet a new and long password

Press enter again you will be prompted to repeat the password

Press enter again and you will be prompted for the 25 word electrum style mnemonic seed that you retrieved earlier

You will then be prompted with "Restore from specific blockchain height (optional, default 0):" Default will start the restore process from the beginning of the electroneum blockchain. If you don't know the specific blockchain height, just hit enter. (Specifying a specific blockchain height will start the restore process from that specific height. This will save a bit of time in scanning, if you know what starting blockchain height your initial funds were transacted for this specific account.)

After you have entered the 25 word mnemonic seed and have chosen your specific blockchain height, electroneum-wallet-cli will generate the same public address and view key as your old wallet and begin the refresh process automatically. (Please be patient as the refresh process may take a while.)

if this has helped in any way in recovering you coins please send alittle my way .. pm for donation address

No coins in your wallet ^^

Veritas Mining - Sustainable Crypto Mining
Switch to a pool on page 1 of this thread

The thing is, the beginner's pool mining software provided on the Electroneum web site mines to the "official" pools by default. On launch day, I started with the beginner windows miner, which only requires an ETN address, and ran it for a few hours until I started poking around for other options. When I checked my balance on uspool later, I noticed that I got a couple payments that could only be from those early hours of mining with the beginner's miner. As of right now, the uspool still reports 1155 miners connected. Many of them are probably mining newcomers who are still running the beginner's miner on their PC, thinking they're earning ETNs, and not sure what's really going on. These people are so enthusiastic that they couldn't wait for mobile mining and took the initiative to download the beginner's miner and gave it a try, the kind of people Electroneum wants to appeal at the first place. The Electroneum team have done a fantastic job marketing the idea of crypto mining to new users, and this particular oversight is a little surprising.

Contraband, can you please pass my message regarding pool modules to the developers.
Let us know what they say.

Thank you.

Theres one thing they really should try to avoid tho: Talking about anything close to an ETA, next status update or similar.
I like to get updates for sure, nothing wrong with.
But please dont say "I hope to have good news before midnight ! Fingers crossed." just in an attempt to  appease the crowd.
It would work well if theres a nearby solution announced close to midnight.
It could also work if theres atleast another statement, status update or similiar.
Its totally not working if you dont hear shit til midnight. Its like a false promise. People keep waiting, get anger and there we go: Next shitstorm.

I would have liked to rather read something like "We are still working very hard (..) bear with us (..) we'll keep you updated tomorrow (monday) morning.
