The site now accepts Verge cryptocurrency (no relation to The Verge), a rebranded version of Dogecoindark, which split off from the original meme coin, Dogecoin, in 2014. Now, users can pay for any Pornhub features, including a Premium subscription, using Verge cryptocurrency. Pornhub’s adult sister sites, Brazzers and Nutaku, also accept Verge cryptocurrency now.Verge cryptocurrency is anonymity-focused, which is why Pornhub executives say they chose it over other potential partners. It should be noted that anyone can view Verge cryptocurrency transactions through its public ledger, but it uses the anonymity tool Tor and an anonymous network layer I2P to hide specific transactions’ IP addresses and locations. Since public ledgers often have their downfalls in protecting anonymity, users also choose to hide on Verge cryptocurrency’s private ledger.

This is really good news seeing as pornhub is a huge business that makes billions. With crypto payments being accepted that would mean that it offers more anonymity to the users and I know more and more people would want to use this. Although I am not sure if this is true, if it does turn out to be true then it is a great leap for cryptos and it will bring good things to the market
It is a great leap for bitcoin because , we are all business here ,if that is the case that pornhub will really accept payments of bitcoin then it will add or boost the stability of bitcoin in the market for it adds another customers which the cryptocurrency are been use.

It's a smart move for websites to accept cryptocurrencies. While there may have been scaling issues discouraging this, as newer innovations reach the cryptocurrency market to resolve this, cryptocurrency acceptance and adoption should pick up again.
I realize that the decision should have been considered very carefully. Now, we can also find out many adult ICOs or gambling and those are not strange in this world. The Verge and the Pornhub may be only providing the easier way to use the service. In that case, it will make the reputation of the Verge bad? I don't think so. Let's see only the next way that may happen to this. In fact, it is good to know more industries accept the cryptocurrency.
I think subscription rates with crypto will be more expensive than FIAT. Verge certainly take advantage fee of subscriptions, and there is a tx fee that we have to pay

I don't mind verge but it is not a prime anon coin like PIVX, zcash etc so i doubt they chose it based on its anon properties anyway.

I do not frequent the site at all so do not know which ones were accepted for services of theirs or to their casino platform.
This is certainly very nice news for those who spend money on .... on what he spends there money in Pornhub. But I personally prefer to spend money on real relationships with girls (yes, I'm old-fashioned and prefer sex with girls). For this success, the Ananists, all the luck and good relationships

It's no big deal. Actually I do not agree with Verge's cooperation in the porn business world, although there is still little competition for this. I think this is not the right step to boost consumers in the market, because of course need to re-research, how many people still pay to see porn? is there no alternative business in other things that can be as cooperation option?
You are right , this is more of a marketing gimmick then that it is a real partnership. I believe the biggest winner in this is pornhub and not crypto/verge.
It isn't that bad for a marketing strategy also. Judging that majority of the investors would be adult and this could quite be useful for them to gain more buyers for their content. Let's hope it is not that quite of expensive. They could also take advantage of the green market now to sell their exclusive content at a high price. If the adult industry could somehow be really feasible in using crypto, then it could cause a major investment to crypto especially to those who doesn't really like to use credit cards or debit cards that much.
