Didn't watched Farense - Benfica, just followed score, so, it's unexpected that this game for Benfica was complicated. They let Farense to score first goal, but after all, Benfica won game and it's most important.

I forgot to bet on Sporting to make my multiple
Now I think it´s not worth because the win of Benfica is paying only 1.17 and Porto 1.12  Tongue

I think I'll need to take some risks and bet on number of goals (under or over), it's not my usual strategy, but there are some matches that top 3 are incredible stronger then other teams and the odds not worth the risk in my opinion

BTW, Sporting 5x1 Estrela Amadora
4 goals of Gyökeres  Shocked
How to stop this??

I wanted to make parlay of Sporting, Benfica and Porto, but when I saw combined odds, decided that's not worth. Sometimes it looks that Primeira league is just too easy level for Gyokeres. There is 2 games remaining for Amorim in Sporting - Champions league home with Man City and league game away with Braga before going to MU

The man really got the hang of scoring goals in Portugal. With a top scorer like that, even without Amorim, the team is very well placed to win the league.
Even so, there is still a lot of championship ahead, and the main rivals have also been playing excellent games.
After ten rounds Sporting is without any defeat and Gyokeres is also at the top of game with 16 goals in 10 games things are completely under control but departure of Amorim is surely going to have impact in coming days because now we have few rumours Sporting can also lose Gyokeres in January as well which could be worst for them because in 10 matches we have 35 goals and 16 scored by this insane goal machine after coming from Coventry he is doing amazing stuff for the Sporting under Amorim.

Most this season will be ok for the Sporting, but now things could be not as we have in last few years because usually departure of good coach always have impact on clubs as we watch Ajax and few others as they lost their coaches hopefully things could be ok for them in coming years, but now title race could be wide open as Porto is also looking good.

Manchester United officially acquired the services of Ruben Amorim, he will join the red devil squad on November 11. Then what about Sporting CP?

The club is currently at the top of the league standings with a perfect score of 30 points from 10 matches, with no losses or draws. Ruben Amorim has had a strong influence on their results so far, so what do you think about Sporting CP after Ruben Amorim leaves the club? Can we still expect Sporting CP to be league champions this season?

The Sporting coach is a good coach, but the Premier League is much more difficult than the Portuguese league. In the premier league there are many strong teams and if he fails to win the premier league in 2 years, he will also be fired

That's why I think this ends up being the best time to become a coach.

This era can be considered lost. Therefore, he will start working for the next season, and try to do the best he can this season. No one will judge him this season. Next season, we can say is the club's organization season, and so they certainly won't be too demanding. And perhaps only in the third season will the standards of demand really increase.

The English Premier League is really very demanding, and the fans know this well and understand it. The problem isn't that he doesn't win the championships, it's that the team plays poorly and doesn't even want to show that they're fighting for victory. Ferguson's example proves this. He arrived at the club in 1986, but his first championship was about 5 years later, in the 1992/93 season.

Therefore, I believe that if Amorim shows quality and does a good job, he can be successful at the club.

Currently, Sporting is the best team in the Portuguese league. They have a good squad and a good coach, but if the coach leaves the team, I doubt very much that Sporting will continue to play well. I think that the coach leaving before the season is over would not be a good move unless Manchester United paid a lot of money to compensate for the loss of the title, which I think is well guaranteed this season if the Sporting coach remained on the team.
Amorim left big mark in Sporting history by winning league twice and ending 19 years trophy drought. And football that they played is very attractive to watch.
It will be very difficult to replace him and it will be interesting to see who will be next Sporting coach.
While MU is great place to ruin your name. Remember that Ten Haag  had great reputation in Ajax and where it is now. I hope that it won't hhappen to Amorim.
I think Amorim can be more successful than Ten Hag. Ten Hag was the victim of wrong player selection. Now he was sent off the team and Amorim will replace him. I think Amorim has a very good reading ability. Amorim is a better manager than him. He can have long-term success with Manchester United and he also had a long success streak with Sporting Lisbon. I think this will continue. If he creates such a foundation in Manchester United, why wouldn't he be successful? I think he will add Gyökeres to Manchester United along with himself and solve the striker problem.

In my opinion, the Sporting coach should not have accepted to go to Manchester United, just as Erik Ten Hag should not have accepted to go to Manchester United, he was successful at Ajax. Note that after Ferguson retired, Manchester United hired many coaches, 8 coaches came after Ferguson. When you have a coach who stayed at the team for 27 years and then retires and in the 11 years after his retirement the team hired 8 coaches, it means that something is not right.

1 - David Moyes: he became the coach of Manchester United and failed to win the Premier League and did not even stay for at least 3 seasons and was fired early.

2 - Ryan Giggs: who was a great player at Manchester United, became the interim coach of Manchester United, but did not stay long.

3 - Louis Van Gaal: a great coach. When he became Manchester United's coach, he had a history of successes with Barcelona, Ajax and Bayern. But he didn't win the Premier League and was fired early.

4 - José Mourinho: he had some successes with Manchester United, but as he couldn't win the Premier League, he was fired.

5 - Ole Solskjaer: he was another great Manchester United player and he ruined his good reputation when he became Manchester United's coach. He couldn't win the Premier League and was fired.

6 - Michael Carrick: another former great Manchester United player who became Manchester United's coach, but for a short time.

7 - Ralf Rangnick: he also didn't win the Premier League.

8 - Erik Ten Hag: he also didn't win the Premier League and ruined his reputation.

The Sporting coach is a good coach, but the Premier League is much more difficult than the Portuguese league. In the premier league there are many strong teams and if he fails to win the premier league in 2 years, he will also be fired

What are yout bets guys? Will Gyökeres go to England?

Personally I believe so. It remains to be seen when, whether in the January market or next summer.

According to the latest news, Amorim should start training for Man United from November 11th (time of the break for national team games). He must already have two assistant coaches with him.

So, I believe that in the summer market Gyökeres will go to Man United.  Leaving early is difficult because of the 100M clause. In summer the clause drops to 60-70M.

I think he will add Gyökeres to Manchester United along with himself and solve the striker problem.

If the whole deal really comes to fruition, which should happen in the next few hours, Gyökeres' departure for Man United in January will be very likely.

At the end of last season, the player said that his future is with coach Amorim. He probably had the expectation that the coach would soon move to a big European club.

It will be sad to see the Portugal matches without Gyökeres and his goals, but it's hard for any player to deny an offer from Manchester United (possibly)
Man. United could offer Antony to Sporting, maybe the brazilian attacker can have more lucky playing in Portugal  Cheesy

Another thing, it won't be easy to play in Man. United in Premier League with Man. City, Liverpool and Arsenal playing way better than United, in Portugal Gyökeres can win some titles more easy

He is a very talented player and Amorim knows how to use him. Gyökeres has been a dominant striker in the Portuguese league and I expect him to transfer to Manchester United. The Premier League is the most difficult league in the world. Although Haaland's statistics are expected on paper, there are very few players in the world who can do what Haaland does. I hope Gyökeres can have the same effect. Amorim can bring the transfers that will bring Manchester United together from Portugal.

If there is a move to a European club, we can claim a good opportunity for a talented player like Gyökeres to go to the European League to continue his career in a big team. Amorim has had an impressive year making the most of the opportunities available and I firmly believe that Manchester United urgently needs to improve their weak front line.

The Premier League is very competitive and tough but European class players are very suitable and Gyökeres can immediately be able to play in the Premier League because the best players in Portugal also really deserve to appear in a prestigious league like the UCL.

Yes it was deserved win for Porto and they could save 3 points in full, only in the future competition I see for Porto, Benfica, Santa Clara and Braga will be interesting because they are team that occupy the second to fifth positions with point difference that is not so much, the shift up and down the rankings is certain to be easier to happen for some time to come.
then Porto will have 24 points and difference of 3 points from Sporting who occupy the top position.
Braga has always been trying in the league but the club always remain below the third position. The matches that are always interesting to me has been the the first three clubs which are usually Sporting CP, FC Porto and Benfica. Sporting CP has played 9 matches and it won the whole 9 matches which is something good. The next match that will be very interesting to me but which I can not bet on is Befica versus Sporting CP and also Benfica versus FC Porto.
It would be surprise if Braga could do well here and actually win the title but it will be hard for them to do so as long as Sporting and Benfica and Porto do well every season, knocking off the top three in the Portuguese League is always struggle for all team including Braga.
Big match that is coming up is certainly interesting and has its own appeal, they can do lot of surprises here and in other competitions such as the Europa League, but they are always bad in the UCL.

Next tomorrow Porto will face AVS Futebol SAD and of course this will be an easy match for Porto, by winning again and saving 3 points then Porto will have 24 points and difference of 3 points from Sporting who occupy the top position.
I guess Porto would win the match also. The club really managed to stay at the second position, suffered only one loss yet in this season which was the match between the club and Sporting CP.
Porto got big win, 0 - 5 was the final result which gave Porto the full 3 points as we expected, now they are really near to Sporting.

Manchester United are ready to pay Sporting a 10m clause to get Amorim, it seems they are serious. Yes, Sporting are currently leading and they have to defend their title of champions, but perhaps the departure of the coach will not be so critical if he is replaced by a good coach, in this case, it is necessary to evaluate the financial aspect, how much benefit Sporting can get from this deal. I expected that Manchester United would target some famous coach this time, but it seems that they like the way Amorim works, he also agreed to lead Manchester United.
Amorim is 39 years old and is considered young for a manager. His ability to read the game is top notch, I really like this aspect of him. They also have a style of play that dominates the Portuguese league. He also uses players very well. I am sure he will make on-the-spot transfers instead of buying simple players like the Dutch manager who was sent away. I don't think the transfer fee they will pay to Sporting will be a problem for Manchester United. Sporting will also earn a transfer fee from this.

I was unable to include information about the last few days, and for that I apologize.

Here is the result of the last round 9. A round with many goals, and that is why I will highlight the only match that ended in a draw.

No problem, we forgive you hahaha   Cheesy

I was a bit surprised by the number of goals in the round, there were 30 goals in the 9 matches. None ended goalless
Here's a great betting tip that I don't usually do

And I won my multiple bet again, Porto won without any difficulty. In fact, Porto, Benfica and Sporting beat their opponents very comfortably, it's impressive how much better these three teams are than the rest.

Porto won very easily, it seemed like they were playing without an opponent on the field. It's funny that in the first half Porto managed to score 4 goals, I expected that in the second half they would score at least 3 goals. Since I wasn't watching the game and at the same time I was doing other things, I missed some important parts of the game. But this was a very easy game for Porto and now with this possible departure of the Sporting coach to Manchester United, I see that Porto and Benfica could have good chances of becoming champions.

Ruben Amorim has given initial green light to Man United. He's keen on joining the club, accepting the project and the terms discussed.

Amorim respects Sporting... and so it depends on club to club negotiation now.

Exit clause for top clubs is around €10m.
