I don't think history can be taken as a factor as that is mostly superstition rather than a true happening despite history saying so.Let me make you an analogy in another sport but that fits in here really well and that is in 2008 when Lewis Hamilton needed to win in Brazil or at least finish 5th to get the title and Brazilian fans gave him the T-shirt of Vasco de Gama claiming to be the eternal second place in the Brazilian Serie A,yet Hamilton we all know won his first title.

The same can be said here,despite history saying it will be difficult for Benfica to win the title based on statistics this should in no way be an obstacle or psychological obstacle to all Benfica team and I think based on the players they have it was just a coincidence that they lost,if they play another 10 times against Famalicao I am sure they can win all those other 10 games.

I watched the game and it was a very boring game. Normally when I watch Benfica games, even when they lose, at least they play well. However, in the case of the game against Famalicao, Benfica played very badly. They didn't pose any danger to Famalicao's defense. Benfica's coach didn't put Di Maria on right from the start. I don't understand why Benfica's coach did that. Disappointing start of new season for the Benfica because they were having good control of this game but sadly still fail to keep things on track and having lost in this game against Famalicao who is doing good in last few years for having their spot into middle of the league table usually we are having slow start for few teams and same happened to Benfica with Braga is also not able to win their first game at home against Estrela which ended with the score of 1–1.

Sporting and Porto are having good start as they are able to win their games now next round is going to be more excited as we are having few exciting games with things could be improved after this first round matches with players and coaches will be able to have learned from their mistakes which they have done in first games.

Sporting, Benfica, Porto and also Braga are team that always provide strong dominance in the fight for the championship title, although they often have fairly high point difference but so far they are team that can show interesting matches when facing each other in the Portuguese League match.
Competition has started and they have shown quite good results because they have saved 3 points each in full except for Benfica and Braga who failed to win their first match.
But I have not seen any particular match that can present an interesting game, at the beginning like this all the top team only play against team that are not so strong.

But what is quite unfortunate is the decline for the Portuguese League itself because for the next season they only have two team that will be able to participate in the UCL competition, in the previous season there were 3 team that got the opportunity in the UCL even though one of them was in the qualifying round.

The new team of the league, Santa Clara, on the other hand, scored a goal against Estoril away from home. Santa Clara scored 4 goals and made a good start in their new league.

Porto started the season with a clear win. We can say that it was an easy match for Porto who got 3 points with 3 goals against Nacional. Sporting also made a good start to the season, defeating Rio Ave 3-1 in a match played 2 days ago. Sporting could have scored more goals as they had many chances against their opponent. Benfica will travel to Famalicao today. I think Benfica will also start the season with 3 points.

It would be huge upset if they won't win tonight. Odds for Porto is so low, it's more about how many goals they will score. Though, sometimes for favorites start of season isn't going that easy.

You mean highlights? I think it's not worth. With all respect, I doubt that many people would watch highlights of games like Arouca - Farense that would be worth efforts to put highlights of each game. After all, 90% people whofollow Portuguese league are only interested in Porto, Sporting, Benfica and maybe Braga.

A team changes coaches and players to make the team more aggressive and more experienced. Because it allows other experienced people to be controlled to perform better than the current ones who are engaged. So it is true that this new season will perform better as a whole, because the players have created the most attention and are at the hardest level.

Start of this season is good for me because I am changing my tactics these are working for me, I am having mostly games with over in start all gone as winner I was expecting good number of goals in this game, and we have 4 goals which was enough for me to have won my two bets.

Today we are having good games with Porto is also going to start their campaign in late game against Gil Vicente at home with currently we are having live game AVS is trailing against Nacional at home after 55 minutes of the game as Nacional take lead in first half and now having keep pressure on home team for ending as winner and three points this is going to be good start for them.

I haven't still seen what would be stopping FC Porto from defeating their opponent team Gil Vicente and grabbing their first full 3 points this season at their today's opening game, especially when they are starting off the season with playing this game at their home soil, that's indeed a given advantage to sweep off the whole of three points from Gil Vicente and putting new season smiles in the face of their supporters and fans today at the Estádio do Dragão stadium.

It is a away match. Home matches are easier for a club to win than away matches. That is why the odd is higher but which is still small. Regardless of that, I think FC Porto might win this matches if their main players played in the match.

Sporting 3-1 Rio Ave

 

This game was very funny, the passes that the Sporting players made that led to the first goal, it was something incredible, which shows how the Sporting players are synchronized. But what made me laugh the most in this game was when the Rio Ave goalkeeper, Jhonatan, made a mistake in the pass and the ball ended up at the feet of Pedro Gonçalves who, with great skill, made a shot and scored the second goal.

FC Famalicao - SL Benfica
