Did you notice that all clubs that have won Arouca this season started to win the club at first half which is my favorite pick. I check the match on Stake but I have not seen it yet. I check another site and it was 1.25. Stake odd would be similar. I think I will go for first half win for Sporting CP but which is an away match. The match can not be as tough as Sporting CP versus FC Porto while I am expecting Sporting CP to start winning at first half. I will bet on the match anytime I see it on Stake.

Yes, I know that too, even if we include second place, those three teams also have a lot of achievements in that position. Benfica has been runner-up 30 times, Porto 29 times and Sporting CP 22 times. Recent seasons have been a moment of revival for Sporting, whatever achievements Sporting will get this season depends on how Gyokeres performs, he's one of the best strikers in Europe now. Arouca is Sporting's next opponent, this team is weak because they only have 1 win in the 4 matches they have played, Sporting can definitely get another 3 points to complete their 5 consecutive wins.

Sporting Lisbon is not a small team as far as the Liga Portugal is concerned. They are among the top team that have produced some of the finest players we know so I don't see how their performance this season is unexpected.  They are in my chart as a club I play both as direct win against a weaker side and based on goals, over 2.5 and over 3.5 and they always deliver. Judging from present form, I have more confidence in them than even FC Porto and Benfica.

Bruno Lage is already officially the new Benfica coach. This choice is a conservative choice, considering that Bruno Lage, is the coach who best knows the club and all its structure, way to work and all that. Personally, I wouldn't choose Bruno Lage, but do you tossing at the current situation, I see very few coaches available to get Benfica training.

Regarding the Sergio Conception, I first have some doubts he wanted to train Benfica. Second, Rui Costa signing Sergio, would cause a lot of complications with fans and many elements of the club structure.

I rarely follow up with the happenings in the Portuguese league but what caught my attention earlier this week was when I saw a list of players contending for the European golden boot in the current campaign only for me to see that alongside Erling Haaland of Manchester City, there's another player who's already netted 7 league goals. Viktor Gyökeres is just a class on his own and to think that Arsenal was linked with him but ended up not signing him is just crazy considering the club's need for a sharp and prolific striker like Swedish striker. I hope he continues with his current scoring ratio so he lands himself big transfer deals in the transfer windows to come

Unexpectedly, Sporting started the season smoothly in the first 4 games, successfully achieving full points, scoring 16 goals, which is not an easy thing for a team without good cooperation.
Gyokeres is a goalscoring machine who they discovered can set deadly statistics. It's a shame that Arsenal lost a classy striker like him.
Of course, after this season, Gyokeres will have a higher value, especially if he can lead the current club to win the championship trophy.

Who knows how much he will increase his value this season. Maybe Sporting won't let him go less than 100m euros. It is early stages in the season maybe but I believe Sporting have the biggest chance for the trophy with this effort.

I've been following the news that Bruno Lage will probably be appointed as Befica's coach. He was already Benfica's coach 4 years ago, he managed to make Benfica become champions, but then he was fired because the team didn't have good results. That match was no exciting and no team could do any goal and score was level in the end of match.  I was Supporting Braga team but they disappointed us and we didn't see any goal in the end of match. The shots of Gil Vicente team were more in number and these were 11 as comparison to shots of Braga and they hit 9 shots . The shots on target was also more from Gil Vicente but possession percentage of Braga team was good and the passes of Braga team was also excellent . We did not see any match winner player in this match and match was ended with draw and both teams got equal points. That was a very boring match.

Viktor Gyökeres is on fire hehe, he scored an important goal against Porto, a penalty of course, but it's already a goal against a strong team

I'm negatively impressed with Benfica. I don't think it's just the coach who's the problem, but it's possible that the new coach will have a new vision of the game so that he can continue his work, because they already lost important points that could be missed at the end of the season

but Galeno scored 3 goals in 4 games and when you look at how many goals Porto scored, we see that they scored 7 goals in 4 games, this means that Galeno alone scored more than 50% of Porto's goals, so it wouldn't make much sense to sell Galeno that season and they wanted to sell Galeno who scores a lot of goals and they went to sign a defender:

If they had sold Galeno, they would have had a weak attack and would have focused on defense. So I see that the intention of Porto's management is not to win the League as a priority, but rather to improve the club's finances as a priority.

Benfica, which still doesn't have a coach, I also don't see them being able to get good results this season. Even if they brought in a good coach, it would take time for the new coach to put the team on the right path. That's why I see Sporting as the only team best positioned to be champion.
