I haven't really seen any gambling advertising on fb. I don't think it's really allowed if you trying to promote too much because fb want you to pay them to promote yourself. I'm not sure they would like it very much if gambling advertising because s problem with fb profiles dedicated to gambling or spamming even. It's ok now because it is not causing an issue but technically it's not really allowed. Because I know fb won't support gambling.

I actually follow a lot of facebook pages that shares gambling tips and predictions since i can't always follow and keep updated with every game scheduled or remembering what happened in the last game that those 2 teams faced each other in and what happened then or how many match this team have won or lost this season . So these pages help me do my analysis while surfing the social medias and just chilling and by that i won't have to visit websites specialized in analysis .

I have friends in social media that post a lot about gambling but they focus on land-based casinos not in online gambling. I don't know if they already know someone that use bitcoin for gambling, maybe they just know in fiat. I'm just worried that they might get addicted when they discover it.

Am more comfortable posting about bitcoin on my social handles than letting friends and family know about my gambling habits, besides we don't need to share everything with the entire world when we entitled to privacy...only people that get to know about such a the real close friends because it's their privilege
so you have different accounts or you are not allowing your relatives and friends become your friends with your social media? i guess its really hard
to accept the fact that people closer to you will think about your activity bad impression will be the first thing inside their minds so its quite annoying
sharing it with them.

Hi, are you guys afraid of posting or sharing gambling related topics & news in your personal facebook ?

is it because afraid of siblings, parents or girlfriend noticed it ?

or dont wanna let your workmate, colleagues know that you addicted to gambling ?
I never post gamling related topic in my personal facebook, my parent knows that i gamble but i never talk about it with my relatives and my friends. I have a lot of friends on facebook and not all of them is old enough to read something gambling related. I gamble for fun and i don't want other people to make a bad choice that can lead them into something bad.
At the end, it totally depends on the individual. Some people do not like drawing attention to themselves and some societies normally see gamblers as someone with issues. So, it totally depends on the caliber of people around you and how you perceive yourself.

If you feel, you care less about what anyone may think about you on your social page, why not? The decision is up to you. However, I do not see any reason why anyone will want to blow himself to the whole world what he or she does for fun or money (whichever way it is).
I don't know what to say about this but I really don't find any meaning in making announcements about all of your activities.

I mean, if someone is playing gambling then what? Nobody really cares in this world about anyone else routine. Everyone is too busy in his own life and it is true. Also, gambling is not considered a game which will be played by smart or normal people.
This would really be treated as a normal stuff which people on social media wont really care at all on the things you are doing and as you said we are busy on our own life and making involvement on others life is not really a good thing. If he do play gambling,so what? As long they dont harm someone then it should be fine.

Nowadays social medias are everywhere and we contact our relatives more often on Facebook/Instagram/snapshat/whatsapp/viber/skype than in real life . And people are likely to share a lot of intimate stuff about them in these social medias apps/websites . But a lot of them are afraid to talk/share things that could ruin their social image in the eyes of their "friends/followers" . There are a bunch of pages/secret groups dedicated for this kind of activity and you sometimes can get top quality predictions through them , i know one of them it's called facebook/probet1x2 and they often publish some well thought sports analysis that can come in handy if you are planning to gamble .

It's somehow not related to anything right because if that's what you want to post, then go. No one should dictate it to you unless you are really an addict and you are trying to stay away from it but you are still gambling. That's the bad part about it. If you personally see how you post, maybe you'll get another view on yourself.

In general, I don't like posting any gambling related links or topics on my Facebook feed not only because it makes you me like a gambler in front of my entire friend list but also as I don't want others to involve into gambling unless they know what they're doing. It gives me bad vibes that someone saw my gambling related post on a social networking site and lost their money because they did not know what they were doing. Moreover, it might cause an unnecessary addiction towards gambling which might affect their futures.
Yes this is true and I have also gone through this many times before not only with gambling but also for sharing links to different ICO, one of the ICO whose link I have shared on my facebook scammed and run away. Unluckily one of my friend also lost good chunk of money on it and now he is just blaming me for his loss.  Sad

Same can happen if you share gambling related topics or webpages in social media accounts.

true! unwanted attention and inconveniences should avoid if possible. However, i just share news or scores of my favourite team at social media, because i think its okay to share, to show my support Grin
showing some support as a fan without real money involved is okay mate but showing your post with some other meanings such like you are betting
with the team or players would matter mate, we really dont know whats inside the minds of our social friends and relatives.

Negative thoughts will surely pop when we show our bets on social media.
but there are others who think with this
many gambling fans among your friends will start approaching you for knowing you have a penchant for gambling
Positive and negative responses will surely come up in everything we do at that moment.
because we need to know that social media sometimes does not reflect the true nature of a person in fact

I agree it will caught up attention of positive and negative alike because there are friends that will emerge that are playing gambling too, and there would be friends that would surely not mind you at all and even stay away from you if you would lend money from them because of what you are posting in your social media, there are two things that might come up in doing this things and if your not into things that make your life complicated then do not post something like that in your social media and keep your gambling life in secrecy.

That is very nice of you Sir. We must think before we act and consider the effect of our actions on other people of the society. This is how a country can progress, by caring for each other. Gambling is really not something that should be promoted so sharing about it is useless.

Well, sometime i am afraid and sometime i am not afraid. Actually, i don't want to tell my parents about my gambling, but if suddenly my parents know about it that i am playing gambling, then it has no problem but i am afraid of it that may be my parents don't like it or may be they have no problem for my gambling, it is my fear.  But i am not sure about it, otherwise, i am not worried for any others like my friends and others and i do posting on gambling.
I think it happens with everyone here who lives with his family. It is overall the concept of parents about gambling that it is not any healthy activity. We often lose more so that made the case more reliable. So your case is true, if parents don’t have issue then posting is not bad.
Everything is fine but why would anyone want to post about gambling on facebook. It is not about parents there, it is more about the people who can view your posts. If they won't accept it then obviously the person is going to face some difficulties. This is the best forum to discuss such activities.

The implications for Facebook could be huge. In a time when everybody is asking the now-public Facebook where its next revenue bump is going to come from, this offers a time-tested avenue toward profit that looks less risky than its hazy advertising business. Social gaming is still a bright spot in Facebook’s revenue stream, and the option of real-money gambling offers a window towards monetizing a much larger percentage of that user base.

Why would you even care about it anyway? If you aren't doing anything bad then why do you even have to be shy about your gambling activity?
As an adult then you have your own decisions, as long as you are not hurting anybody and that your finances do not get hit hard then why bother
with the opinion of others.

Some of my relatives have been gambling addicts before so I am one of those people who would not dare being exposed to people that knew me that I am gambling. I know that I am not a gambling addict just gamble from time to time to just have fun but not in the sense that I have to sell something that I need to just gamble. Being expose to social media is like showing to the whole world what you are so I would not risk showing to every body that I gamble because there are many people who will immediately judge not knowing the whole story.
