I got you and i understand very well but if you are being paid a bounty for posting and promoting a gambling site then i think it's not much guilt to feel about it unless people know you to be a gambler by nature.

If you advertise some casino and you are receiving money for that then you are not gambler you earn with your profile page on any social network. And here no one will see you ass a gambler, close people can just get bored from your activity.
Sharing your gambling wins and loses, along with videos about it have some other meaning and you will find people who agree and disagree with that. If you feel ashamed because you gamble then don't do it, but my opinion is that if you doing something that you like you don't need to ba ashamed for that.

Posting and sharing about things like gambling even though you are not a gambler will still give you a gambler image from your friends or family. Because they don't what really the truth and you will not share things you don't like even though you earn money from. I never share any gambling post on my personal facebook, I used dummy accounts to share any gambling promotion to hide my identity. Grin

That depends on the intention of my posts. If I'm going to post gambling-related topics and articles to promote and advertise them (take note that I should be getting paid by them), that's definitely okay with me. As long as I'm getting something from my posts, there problem in that.

On the other hand, it is definitely not good if I'm just gonna post it just to let others know that I'm a degenerative gambler who put money into casino's pocket. It would greatly tarnish my public profile and would provide negative impression to my friends and families. Gambling should be a personal thing and shouldn't be broadcasted to the whole world not unless your getting paid to do it. People tend to judge people right away without knowing the true meaning behind your posts and that will just put me in a disadvantageous position.

Yup in your place playing gambling is common, and people will take this easy then it is ok to share in social media. But gambling is illegal, and your parents will not support this then it is not good to share this in social media. I will never share my betting and gambling information on my FB and Instagram account.

showing some support as a fan without real money involved is okay mate but showing your post with some other meanings such like you are betting

Hmm. If you are an adult, you have to right to choose already. If you know your limits and you are a responsible gambler, I do not see anything wrong with gambling.
Sharing it though to the world is something different. It involves acquiring unwanted attention that would lead to some conflict. Best just not to share it, IMO.

I guess it's ok to create another facebook account but it's not ideal because who will you add the same people that you have on the main account or just somebody else? It would just require you a lot of effort and time to create an alternative account.

So the main is don't add the same people with your other account so that you can still post those gambling related articles and just make that account for gamblers. Add people with the same interest and in that way you could have a good time to discuss with the comments about those posts that you will share in your profile.

If someone really wants to share his gambling experience with other gamblers without letting his relatives discover his little secret, then I think this forum can serve the purpose. What is the use of making an extra fb account? Honestly, it will be just wastage of time. Just an extra work it would be.

Gambling's not really that attractive wih most of my friends and me so it didn't come to my mind to post anything related to gambling. Its not hat i'm ashamed or scared, it just doesn't seem interesting enough

I have similar thinking friends on my Facebook account and they are so academic oriented that they easily brush gambling aside as the activity of the lazy and uneducated. I don't feel hurt but I also don't want to suffer bashing for putting up gambling related articles on my Facebook wall.

You need to tell them about gambling because might they help you. If you are hiding like this after heard about gambling that you are doing then they will be hurt so i want to say that you need to tell them.

If you are not addicted to gambling and just playing for fun then no need to share this with your parents. But if you are addicted and trying to come out better you can share with them. But posting our gambling activities on facebook or twitter or other social medias is not good. It depends on country and person. in some country the gambling is illegal if we post our activities then it will be a big problem for us. And in some countries, their religions will not let them post. Like this, we have many problems, so better we can away from this social media is safe for everyone.

I guess the reason why I won't want to do that is simply because of the judging attitude of the people around and even no when I tell guys I gamble with btc online especially in the case of sports betting and analysing the odds, I am being looked at scornfully.

If I should post gambling activities on my wall, I would not only be judged but equally recommended for therapy as that will be the next things after I would have been bombarded with calls from far and near. To avoid trouble, I stay away from such.
