No, I am not afraid of posting gambling related topics or news in the social media because I know myself better than anyone else. Just because I post those things doesn't really reflect my true personality and nature. And besides that, as long as I did not hurt anyone from posting those topics then I feel like I'm okay and my family is okay with it as well.

I do not think people are afraid to post about gambling on their social media because of friends or family. Most people afraid to post because of government laws that may make them get in jail because posting about it. Some countries are so strict about gambling, so people better to avoid it when their country has strict rules about gambling.

Hi, are you guys afraid of posting or sharing gambling related topics & news in your personal facebook ?

is it because afraid of siblings, parents or girlfriend noticed it ?

or dont wanna let your workmate, colleagues know that you addicted to gambling ?

No I am not afraid in posting gambling related topics in my facebook because I am in the right age and my family knows that I am not addicted in gambling. But I prefer not posting things like that in my facebook because it doesn't look good in my eyes when I look at my profile. But I have nothing against people who are posting things like that I've seen my friends posting some.

I'm a gambler but not an addicted one and I just don't want to share things about gambling. I'm not even afraid if my family, parents, friends or colleagues will find it out that I'm a gambler. We are in different culture so I'm not afraid of the judgment of other people as I'm not giving them harm with their lives.

I'm hiding to my family and friends that I'm into gambling and I'm in your the same situation that I'm scared to share related topics on my facebook profile. Once they knew about it,they will think different about me and will probably treat me different but only for those people that are not my real friends.

If your alt account in facebook utilize it to make that spread the news about gambling site and information of it.  If you just the bitcoin and gambling related information most of the people would not look at you for that post and all. If you more number of friends only it will reach to many people.

And this can be the solution to the problem of pan0124 but I'm not interested of making another account on facebook. I'm not interested about it nor exposing myself that I'm into gambling, well I'll have an experiment that I'll share bitcoin gambling related news and will see on what will be the reaction my friends and family about it.
I guess it's ok to create another facebook account but it's not ideal because who will you add the same people that you have on the main account or just somebody else? It would just require you a lot of effort and time to create an alternative account.

In general, I don't like posting any gambling related links or topics on my Facebook feed not only because it makes you me like a gambler in front of my entire friend list but also as I don't want others to involve into gambling unless they know what they're doing. It gives me bad vibes that someone saw my gambling related post on a social networking site and lost their money because they did not know what they were doing. Moreover, it might cause an unnecessary addiction towards gambling which might affect their futures.

I think its not being afraid but more of protecting yourself specially if you are working and don't wan't your boss see your gambling activity. Although there was one funny incident I remember like 5 years ago that I'm gambling in a landbased casino and suddenly I saw my manager playing at craps if I'm not mistaken. LOL. It was funny and awkward situation, but we just look at each other in the eye and saying don't you ever tell this in the office. LOL. But yeah, for me I won't do that specially if your work is very strict. Specially if you miss work and you just posted that you just came from a casino or just finished online dice game.

I don't. I'm not exactly a hardcore gambler and it doesn't hold a very important part of my time. If at the very least time that i gamble, its usually by myself and i don't brag about it to anyone.

Exactly, it's better if you share without compelling anyone to strictly stake your suggested bets or you just keep it to yourself and stake. I prefer the latter even though I do share my bets sometimes on some threads in this forum but it is likewise not to portray myself as an expert but to share and probably help a brother somewhere else.
It's fun to let others people see that it's somehow possible to do impossible bets because it's somehow a motivation. If you share something, I think you want something to earn in return because some people do that its affiliates I guess. I hope that somehow, no one can get addicted to seeing someones post in social media.

i see in my facebook account many people is sharing their affiliate links, sometimes i feel annoyed and i only thinking that why they don't share like once in a day or every 3 days a week than sharing for five times a day. but now i am already blocked some content that i feel i am not good with their sharing and i wish in future they don't share too often like before.

No, because why would I use my personal account and not make a dummy? If I'm addicted and my family doesn't like it or will not like the idea that I'm into gambling then I will not do it in a way that that they might find out.

fortunately i never had any problem during a gamble and i considers still able to control myself so i think i'm not addicted and as far as i remember that i was never did it and indeed one of the reason why i didn't use social media to sharing gambling related topics because the gamblers always considered as bad behavious in my country so i don't want they know i gamble even not regularly
There is no need to get afraid of anyone. People will always say something rubbish even if you become an angel. You can't stop anyone.
However, I also won't say to keep on making announcements about your actions because the less they (whole world) know the better it is. I only say one thing, live your life the way so that you don't have any regrets.
Yes you don’t have to make a list of your actions “to-do” and then announcing it to the whole world. Less people know better it would be. As here said, if you are still an angel, still people will find something bad in you. So make your decisions according to your views, not to others.

hi, just my 2 cents, somebody just simply cannot accept gambler, you know what i mean ? I might lose my job if the manger or superior dont like gambler or they thought it will affect their life/tasks etc etc

I see, so it's related to your career. If that is so, you should be careful or you might put your job/career at risk. I understand on how you want to secure yourself from those people that has higher positions on your company. But if there's no need to post something on social media related to gambling then simply don't post it.

i think he can make new account for only posting/sharing gambling related topics and news in facebook so you don't have to worried with other person that might not agree with you or has higher positions than you. you can access your new account from another devices like another cell phones or laptop or else so your job is still safe and no one will know that you have 2 different account.
Basically you are telling him to cheat. Not a good idea. It will definitely help him but I am not a person who supports double standards or betrayal. If something is prohibited then let it be that way. All that glitters are not gold.

Anyways, I am not here to debate on right and wrong but if I were him, definitely, I wouldn't have even thought about gambling.

Nice idea, he can but for me it's time consuming to have other facebook account just to share what he want to share about gambling. But if he's dedicated to it, that can be a good alternative for him. If he can't resist to share articles or news about gambling just don't add your colleagues so that your job won't be affected.
