I need a decent low temp, environmentally friendly coin to mine in the next few days....
There's no such thing as environmentally friendly coins. Any algo that isn't using your GPU to it's full potential where the temps are high is only means that the miner software is not fully optimized.

Also it is very likely that someone else is mining with a fully optimized miner while you are getting a lot less just to keep your cards cool.
Interested to see if this launches. Not the biggest fan of SHA3 tho.
