Thats such a long time away in bitcoin land Grin.  We could see other bubbles in the mean time.  We'll hit $460 for sure in 2016 and also possible this year.

2017 is far away from now and it can happen to be the price of $460 it is just a double jump from now

The block reward halving is the joker in the pack - nobody knows what effect that will have on the price.
After that is completed, we can start making predictions about 2017.  Grin

Just look at the recent moves in price on halvings of different coins. It is mostly a bit excitement before, but then nothing noteworthy afterwards. Even the difficulty will not change that much.

About the difficulty it can change because technology is changing too much and very dynamically so the power will increase by years, until to quantum pc which much more power.

With coming quantum PC btc will destroy fully ... because you can find privekey of a certain address at some hours .....

I decided few days to read about quantum computers and it is just a mess if it is implemented, because it can bruteforce everything even banks and bitcoin private key/salt too, and the price of bitcoin will become 0$

now price 240$
i think we can hit 300$ at end of this month Smiley
and easy to going rate 460$ at next year

i really wish it was that easy, but i can't see the price go over $300 in this year. but if you believe it will, then buy yourself some coins if you haven't already.

I think that it is far from good if we see it from today.
As Bitcoin XT is killing Bitcoin network, so probably this price will not be reached.

bitcoin xt isn't killing the bitcoin network. the network is fine as always. people don't switch to the xt client as they know it's not going to last long. don't think anyone will talk about xt anymore in 2016.

Very simple math and assumptions. So please tell me where it was at Aug/Sept of 2011? If your wishful thinking is right that would be nice.

Yes but before block reward halving happens we can see big pump in btc price but no one know what will happen after halving, so before making prediction for 2017 we should predict about halving impact on price in 2016
