West Ham has made a strong effort to stop Man City from winning the EPL title but still West Ham was unable to stop it because Man City's strength is quite large and their attack system is also stronger than West Ham as proven by the number of shots taken by Man City and West Ham only made several attempts but only 1 was successfully converted but that was not enough to stop Man City so this time West Ham could not help Arsenal to break Man City's dominance in winning the title.
It was difficult for West Ham to stop Man City in yesterday's match. They should have been able to stop Man City from being a relatively strong club, but there is a match that Man City will play, when they face Chelsea, Chelsea will be able to put pressure on Man City in the fight for the title. This season with Arsenal, I hope that Arsenal can win the title this season, not without reason, because they have been fasting for a title for too long, the last time in 2003/2004, so at least Arenal can take advantage of the moments in the remaining matches because it could be decisive in end of season.

Throughout the game, Westham have exerted all their abilities to try to hold Manchester City to a draw, but Arsenal who do depend their fate on other teams must of course be prepared to be disappointed when the results do not match the expectations they want, because indeed they depend on the chance of winning on a small team that is indeed unable to withstand the strength of Manchester City, even Manchester City who are close to the championship trophy do not wait long and need Work hard to break down Arsenal mentality and also hope to be championship in other match, because Manchester City who appeared attacking and dominant since the game began only took no less than 2 minutes to create their first goal and make Arsenal chances to be  championship lost.

Manchester City of course has quality and also a better performance than Westham so from the beginning it was very doubtful if Westham would be able to make it difficult for Manchester City in the game, but even so of course not entirely Westham was not able to make Manchester City troublesome, although Manchester City was able to dominate Westham in that the match, but there were still opportunities that Westham was able to create to make Manchester City defense line work hard in the match, although in the end Manchester City closed the match with a victory as well as their fourth consecutive championship trophy.

I was expectant but everything failed, congratulations to Josep Pep Guardiola. Arsene Wenger and Sir Alex Ferguson had records and it's good to see others come in match that up, break records and also set them records. West Ham United did a great job but Manchester City has got to be on another level even as much as I think they did decline honestly. Phil Foden should be proud of himself, he indeed took responsibility game after game this season. Congratulations to him and the rest of his teammates.

This is hurting but Arsenal should focus on recovery process and rest, those who will leave for Euro's should and after that they will definitely make good signatures in midfied and attack.
They will not give Arteta the Premier League Coach of the season but I feel like he deserves it. They will go again next season, glad they're having a younger squad.

They're doing well, playing good football but should we call him a failed manager?

Foden was really incredible. He is one of the very credible players in Manchester City squad in especially critical games like this. For example we don't even see Haaland this productive in such games. Foden finished the season with 19 goals and 8 assists in the league. What a performance right?   Grin  He even scored more goals than many strikers.

Arteta absolutely deserved that award but because of Manchester City's being the champions, it will be given to Guardiola. Still I also think Arteta also deserved it fully.

I don't think it would be fair to call Arteta "a failed manager". He is doing the best he can with such a young squad.
Phil Foden had his prime this season and he will probably do even better in my opinion. I don't know if you've noticed, but every shot Foden takes to his left is going into the same corner. Top notch skills. Adn the title is well deserved. Congratulations, City. If you look at the net expenditures of the last years, you will see that City do not spend as much as other teams. Foden is a youth player their own teams. KDB is a player of how many years? Too many. That is what I like about City's success. I don't see any reason they can't repeat this multiple times even still after now.

West Ham still did their best but it was too difficult to hold off Manchester City just as I expected. With a 0.37 xG, West Ham were nearly scoring their second goal. This was a better performance than I expected from them.  Grin  Unfortunately Arsenal have said goodbye to the Premier League title once again. It is really sad to see them sharing the same fate after all that effort.  Sad

The thing I feared happened. That Aston Villa loss cost Arsenal the title. If that ended up with a win now we were going to talk about Arsenal making history. Anyways, Arteta has done his best for sure.

Actually, the defeat against Aston Villa was a disappointing result when Arsenal had to lose at home, whereas Arsenal dominated possession of the ball, but what was very strange was that Arsenal failed to take advantage of a very good opportunity and couldn't score anything.
I admit that Aston Villa looked very strong at that time with a quick counter attack and produced 2 scores which embarrassed Arsenal fans.
Previously, all fans believed that this was Arsenal's chance to win the title this season, but at that time Arsenal also had to focus on the Champions League match and ultimately had to lose points in the match against Aston Villa.

Eyes on him, Declan Rice, Harry Kane, James Madison, Olie Watkins, Kobbie Mainoo, Konsa, and all of these Brits who did well, I want to see that having a great Euro's come next month.
Top Lad Phil Foden, that goal he scored against Manchester United gave man shivers, I knew he was up for this shit and look at him buzzing. Yeah, he did score more goals compared to that tw@t called Marcus Trashford  Smiley

I was even considering Unai Emery because he has finally taken Aston Villa back to the Champions League Competition after many years, I think the last time they was in the Champions League Competition was in the ⁹⁰'s

Good! Same way you can't call him that is the same way I don't expect people to do to Erik Ten Hag, because in his first two seasons compared to Mikel Arteta, he has seen more successful trophies and jack to back for Manchester United than Mikel Arteta. So why do these posters and folks call him a failed manager? Sickening.

Well Pep has now written his name in Gold and at the moment, he stands as the greatest coach to grace the EPL because he just won the league 4 times in a row and 6 in 7 years for City. I think none other yet will be able to match him as he’s real built this City team. You can see how the City team are anle to perform even when they’re under pressure and especially when it gets towards the end of the season.

They take every match like a final and make sure they’re getting all 3 points in the match. In the game yesterday against West Ham, you can see how they real dominated the match to make sure they secured the win comfortably. For Arsenal, I think they have to prepare well for next season as they have to make sure they’re not going to lose up to 5 games in the coming season, if they want to have a chanve against Pep.

Yes the team must be commended for their improvement as they performed better than last season and now they must move forward. For Arteta, I won’t call him a failure yet but one more season without the league trophy and I think he should be sacked because he can’t just keep giving the hope. The players have prospects and I think they can give their all next season and perform better.

what happened in the premier league was predictable.

Manchester City is clearly the strongest team in England and has won for the fourth time in the last five years.

We now need to see what will happen with Guardiola, not long ago he announced that he would leave either at the end of this year or at the end of next year.

Honor to Arsela who tried until the end but it wasn't enough.

Manchester City's success cannot be separated from the outpouring of money from Sheikh Mansour's Abu Dhabi United Group which acquired The Citizen. Pep Guardiola, who has experience taking care of young players, is able to choose young talent to complete the Man City squad to play with senior players. Manchester City has a complete squad with even abilities between the first team and reserve players.

Guardiola has just led Man City to win the Premier League title for the 2023/2024 season. In the final standings, they are two points ahead of Arsenal. Achieving this title confirms Man City's dominance in the Premier League, during the Pep Guardiola era. Because from eight seasons competing in the Premier League, Guardiola was able to win six titles. The issue of Pep's departure is very interesting for us to follow. As we know, Pep Guardiola only has one season remaining on his contract.

what happened in the premier league was predictable.
(...)

The final round was quite predictable, but not going to lie, I' was a bit surprised by the consistent win streaks of both top teams in the final stages.
Winning streaks of 6 for Arsenal and 9 for Man City were, statistically speaking, quite unlikely to happen in such a strong league. I was expecting them to show some season fatigue, similar to Liverpool, who were hanging in there for a long time, but couldn't withstand the pressure and dropped out of the title race.
Both teams can be proud of their performance, sadly, the winner could be only one.
Since Guardiola came to Premier League, the champion has become predictable, which makes Guardiola a great manager who is able to change the landscape of a competition. The consistent winning streak was rare before Guardiola came to Premier League. All the three teams had a long winning streak this season, it was just Liverpool having a big drop off after the winning streak, while Arsenal could give a good reaction to the loss.

Among the three teams, Liverpool was the one who had an injury crisis, they even had 7 starters unavailable at the same time. They even succeeded to win the League Cup with some academy players on the pitch. Manchester City and Arsenal had few injuries that were not really impactful for them. While De Bruyne and Haaland were injured, they kept winning games. Arsenal didn't even have an impactful injuries, and they have a good squad depth as the replacements.

Easy to predict makes it boring, and so far the officials and VAR officials failed to  be fair with them judgement and decisions.

Yeah, they deserve it, but when are they Gon be charged? 115 charges against them and they're still dump and silent?

Maybe he will try to stay for another season and after that, he will be hoping to manage a country side, it could be Spanish sides or finally the English side because I know they don't have a good coach. Gareth Southgate I don't rate and consider him a good coach.

They had the game against Aston Villa within them hands but they failed to seize it by the balls and that was the most terrifying thing about all these. If they want to still challenge for the Premier League Competition, they should make sure they geta new goal scoring player like Alexander Isaak.

I think it's quite difficult to guess because we need the last match to determine who will be the champion. Because since the middle of the season there has been quite fierce competition between Arsenal and Manchester City where these two teams have shown quite good performances until the end of this season. However, as you said, Manchester City is still quite strong and managed to improve their performance towards the end of the season. Manchester City deserves to make new history because their hard work is very consistent and full of ambition.

Arsenal has made us full of pressure with their good performance, even many of us wanted to see Arsenal become champions but they failed again. The Arsenal players certainly feel sad and they can't believe that this season they still failed to become champions. Now, speaking of Pep Guardiola, he will stay with Manchester City for next season, I think if Pep Guardiola is still with Manchester City, of course they are still strong enough to maintain their good performance and there is a possibility of retaining the championship title.

So last week I predicted a final day drama that didn't get to happen because Foden was quick to put City in front before West ham could even settle down at the Etihad. Arsenal on the other hand had a hard time winning Everton at home. For most part of the season half, I thought they'd settle for a draw since City was already up during the halftime as that alone was enough to break their spirits.

Guardiola and his City team simply don't afford any slip ups when they get in that winning mode, eh? Damn.

You're right. Man City becomes the champion was predicted by most of people since the early of the season. Although Arsenal and Liverpool ever lead the EPL standings, they are not strong enough to survive until the end of the season.

Well, since the arrival of Guardiola in Man City in July 2016, Man City already won EPL title since the season of 2017-2018. They only failed to win the title in the season 2019-2020. In that season, Liverpool won the title, Man City was in a runner up position. After that, Man City won the EPL title for the next 4 seasons in a row. Man City is too strong for EPL teams.  Grin

We now need to see what will happen with Guardiola, not long ago he announced that he would leave either at the end of this year or at the end of next year.
I'm sure Pep Guardiola won't have a chance to leave Man City as long as he has a contract with Man City. His contract will expire in June 2025, so he must stay in Man City for the next season. I am very sure Guardiola has no reason to leave Man City now. He gets everything in Man City, he even has no problem there.

Honor to Arsela who tried until the end but it wasn't enough.
Yes, Arsenal has made a great effort at least. Arsenal almost wins the title this season. However, Arsenal is still unlucky that they have injured problems toward the end of the season. So they missed to get full points in some matches.

So true but I had high hopes for Arsenal to actually win this EPL title this year but with how City played today I must say they deserved to be champions 110% and that is coming from an United fan.

Also true , they are the strongest by far and I'm a bit surprised that they scored only 3 goals today because the score could have been very well 7-0 just in first half.

Isn't his dream to actually coach a national team ? I think he said that a few years ago that he wants to coach Brazil if I remember well and I think Brazil deserve to be World Champions once again or maybe he will actually coach Spain as that won't surprise anyone , right ?  Grin

Klopp has decided to take a break in the meantime in coaching the club and of course so far we don't know when he will return to coach the club, maybe he will have a reason that can be said the same as Zidane continues to say when there are other teams who want to recruit him as a coach, now we can say if Klopp is the most successful coach ever in charge of Liverpool,  As we know so far, if Liverpool have had zero titles before for 30 years but since Klopp come in 2015, Klopp has managed to make Liverpool a team that is quite tough and able to compete in the race for the Premier League and Champions titles so far.

But unfortunately Klopp farewell this season with Liverpool did not have a sweet impression after Liverpool ended this season without a prestigious trophy, but I think it will not reduce the love of Liverpool fans for Klopp Considering all the achievements he has given so far to Liverpool, Arne Slot who has confirmed that he will coach Liverpool next season has certainly made all speculation as to who Liverpool next coach has ended,  Arne Slot and Liverpool have officially teamed up to undergo competition next season.
Klopp saying goodbye to Liverpool after a wonderful 9 years stay is a big one and you can see how he’s greatly improved this Liverpool side and you know why the club, fans will miss him. In his 9 years stay, he won the EPL twice and also won them the UCL, which was able to put the club back on the radar of big clubs in Europe.

Though he was only able to win the EFL this season, I don’t think this will stop the Liverpool fans from not singing his praises whilst they play their final match of the season at Anfield this evening. He’s improved the face of the team and thebway the team played made them so feared, he also made Anfield one mighty fortress for clubs coming to play in there.

Slot has been appointed and from that you understand how much the new board of this Liverpool team are clear on the type of football they want. I think they’re one board that just go directly for what they want rather than chasing shadows and you can see that with the signing of Slot. Well the fans can’t wait to see what he has for them as they will want him to build on what Klopp has laid down as that will easily bring about team’s success rather than starting afresh. Well he’s in charge and whatever decision he takes, I think the fans will appreciate him and give him the applauds the deserve.

Ladies and Gentlemen with that early Phil Foden goal that is how Manchester City won the title, and looking at the Westham players body language, I honestly don't see any comeback from these lads and Arsenal too is finding it hard to break Everton who won't hand it out easy to them and am pretty sure they know what's happening at the Etihad but I expect both City and Arsenal to win their games...

Let's go Citehhh...

Westham players know that if they can do nothing in this game. This is why they drop three points. It was better caused by city is far above it in all of aspects. Westham has lost its spirit after rodri was scoring another goal for city. All of my respects for everton if the club will able to force the result to get draw.

It seems like that everton's parking bus has been making arsenal's players frustrated. Im very happy with this result. Manchester city once again winning EPL title 4 times in a row. This is really amazing result from manchester city.

Arsenal needs a miracle to win the game against everton.
I'm one of the people who despite knowing fully well that West Ham aren't going to match the strength of Manchester City in their last league game of the season, were still expecting dramatic result in the game because of our love and wish for an Arsenal triumph but unfortunately they failed to do the unthinkable. This is the closest Arsenal have come to winning the English Premier League title since they last won it 20 years ago so I think it should rather serve as a morale booster to the club manager instead of feeling too disappointed.
Mikel Arteta have done exceptionally well since he took over the managerial role at the club and I believe he'll continue to improve the club and his personal managerial experience going forward. Arsenal in my own opinion are definitely going to win the league in few seasons from now of Mikel Arteta continues to remain at the club.
