This result makes Liverpool out of the hunt for the EPL trophy, like it or not, now only Arsenal and Manchester City will still compete for the trophy, being in second place doesn't mean it's safe because Liverpool has lost 1 important match. There were no gifts for Jurgen Klopp during his coaching period with Liverpool. It was a shame to have to submit to Everton, a defeat that Liverpool had never experienced at Everton headquarters for the past 14 years. Now Manchester City toughest challenge will be to determine whether they also lose the last game they have or continue to be Arsenal competitors. Liverpool' poor performance was unexpected, many players experienced a decline Nunez, Mo Salah and Diaz were on the wrong track.

3 points difference with Arsenal if you look at the match schedule. Arsenal is also 7 goals different from Liverpool. If Liverpool's ability to equalize points is achieved, Arsenal will also still be ahead on goal difference.
My concern for Arsenal is their ability to maintain consistency until this season is over. They have to win against Spurs at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium to be on track to compete with Manchester City because Arsenal also still have to face Manchester United at Old Trafford.

Things that are considered impossible may still happen considering that the Premier League competition is very tight.

Manchester City has 2 leagues as capital, and the odds are quite big if Brighton and Nottingham Forest are defeated. Pep Guardioal must be careful towards the end of the season even a weak team can be a nightmare. Manchester City must reflect on Liverpool facing Everton because on paper Liverpool are superior but on the field anything can happen.

On paper, with all the strength that Manchester City has, it looks like they can win the title again this season. But our ability can only guess considering that everything can still produce surprises.

Arsenal really showed their best game against Chelsea when they were able to destroy Chelsea's defense which could make them go far ahead with a quite satisfactory score. I think Arsenal might win the Premier League now. Yesterday I thought Manchester City would be able to stay at the top of the rankings, but yesterday the points that Manchester City, Arsenal and Liverpool had were not much different, only slightly different. Now that Arsenal are in the lead, their points are quite safe, this can make them survive, but they must still be able to beat other teams in the next match to be able to maintain this best ranking.

with their next match, I don't think they have a tough job to face their opponents, but that doesn't mean they have to underestimate the opposing team they will face later, of course they have to be prepared by trying to stay in their current ranking.
The performance against Chelsea was a very perfect performance from Arsenal, it didn't even take long for Arsenal to break into Chelsea's goal in that game, before they really destroyed Chelsea in the second half, 3 points against Chelsea certainly made Arsenal now at the top of the Premier League standings and when you look at Arsenal points which are currently far from Manchester City and Liverpool, it seems like you forgot to see if the actual position Arsenal in the standings is still not safe, because indeed currently Manchester City have 2 postponed matches that they have not played, so at any time Manchester City can reclaim the top of the Premier League standings from Arsenal while still leaving a difference of 2 points.

The next match, Arsenal will face Tottenham, so far the Tottenham vs Arsenal match is a match full of surprises because the rivalry is so strong between the two teams, so I think the match will not be easy for both teams later, I think with the rivalry that occurs between the two teams of course Tottenham Hotspur will thwart Arsenal's chances of winning in any way,  Because for Tottenham they would rather see Manchester City or Liverpool to be championship than see Arsenal winner this season.

It's more or less safe, not safe, because when the match whistles, anything can happen, such as a strong team beating a weak team, and vice versa, a weak team can beat a strong team. with their current points being ahead of Liverpool and Manchester City, that could put them at the top of the rankings, but there are still matches left to play, and that doesn't rule out the possibility that Arsenal could be overtaken again. considering that Manchester City is a strong team with their remaining matches, I think they will have a little difficulty against some of the upcoming teams, but I don't underestimate Manchester City either.

maybe Arsenal will indeed have difficulty in the next match when they will face Tottenham, because their rivalry is both strong, if you look at it, it doesn't feel like Tottenham will give Arsenal a chance, I'm not too interested in this match, but I will just take part in watching it because you want to feel the excitement of the match between these two rival teams. If Tottenham succeed in beating Arsenal, I think Manchester City will return to the top of the standings.

As of today, I'm super disappointed to confirm that Liverpool is officially off the title race following that 2-0 loss to our merseyside neighbors. To think that it's the same team that Chelsea brutally destroyed a week ago only to lose to them even with some of the finest members in our team. I can't say I blame Klopp but I don't know how a team that was literally high flying with find it extremely difficult to score goals. It happened in the Europa league against Atalanta and then again to Palace in the EPL. I honestly thought anfield was the problem but Liverpool is just shit now.

Football is indeed full of surprises. I never for once thought Liverpool would lose to Everton tonight. I'm actually pained as a result of the outcome because I see Liverpool as a strong contender to rival City than Arsenal. Also, I'd love Jurgen Klopp to win a silverware before finally parting ways with Liverpool at the end of the season. It's just remaining 4 and 6 games for Arsenal and City respectively, it's going to take a bit of luck for both teams to drop points to give Liverpool a chance.

Liverpool showed no determination to win the game and the defenders performed like shit against everton, let me guess how many people lost their bets on this match, probably thousands of people. The Reds now only have the Carabao Cup as a farewell gift to their best coach but yeah klopp had made too many mistakes, the result against everton is so pathetic. Liverpool's performance has been very disappointing, especially given that the club has been performing well since the middle of the season but it can changed drastically after atalanta was destroying liverpool. The loss to Atlanta seemed to have had a snowball effect on Liverpool.

It surprised me when I saw Jarrad's first goal. Everton managed to escape the relegation zone at the end of the season after receiving a two-point deduction. It deserves to be appreciated.

Glad to see Everton staying in the EPL for another season. Everton wasn't bad, but it did underperform at times.

Yes, Liverpool could have won with Everton if they had tried with their strong performance, but they didn't try, which is why they lost. Of course most people lost their bets on this match last night, most people expected Liverpool to win this match by a huge margin but the complete opposite happened. We will now say it is only because of Liverpool coach Klopp's mistakes, if he had managed his team well then maybe Liverpool would not have faced these days. The Liverpool side were very good from the start to the middle of the season and their performances were outstanding, but it is certainly true that their performances have been even more disappointing since their destruction against Atalanta in the Europa League. With Liverpool's current performance in the Premier League, we can be sure that they won't have a chance to win the title this season. But it's true that Everton have secured their place in the EPL next season, and it's most pleasing for them that they've managed to get out of the relegation zone.

Liverpool is still not out of the Premier League title race because we don't know whether Arsenal and Manchester City will continue to consistently win in all the remaining matches this season. Liverpool still has a fairly close point difference with Arsenal and we also haven't watched Manchester City's 2 matches. The 2 defeats experienced by Liverpool after being eliminated from the European League were very disappointing. We all thought Liverpool would win these 2 titles but apparently fate said otherwise. Liverpool failed in the European League and in the English League, Liverpool began to lose balance, being beaten by mid-table clubs and being defeated by a club that was struggling from the relegation zone was quite surprising and difficult for Liverpool fans to accept.

I don't know what is happening to Liverpool at the moment, even though Liverpool doesn't have any serious problems with their players and they are playing at full strength and are able to control the ball more dominantly. But the number of shots that Liverpool has taken, none of them have been successfully converted into goals. I have to admit that Everton's performance in This match was quite good, they were able to maintain a tight defense so that Liverpool had difficulty creating opportunities. If they did the same thing when facing Chelsea, it is possible that they would not concede many goals.

This is proof that Arsenal succeeded in showing and deserved a landslide victory. Of these 5 goals, I highlighted Havertz performance, which in Arteta's hands actually transformed into a quality player. He proved to the team that had sold him that it was the biggest mistake. Pochettino was embarrassed by Havertz goal celebration. I likes the way he is getting better with Arsenal, and is willing to fight to improve his performance. I didn't think this far about the score that Arsenal could score, my initial prediction was just over 3 goals but seeing the Chelsea players on the front line without Cole Palmer did have a bad impact in terms of attack. Jackson couldn't be relied on, he was too selfish to be an executor and his performance was quite bad.

Manchester City 2 matches against Brighton and North Forest shouldn't be too much pressure as long as Pep and his players are really focused on maximizing opportunities. Consistently Manchester City certainly has a high chance of getting 3 points in these 2 matches. So it's better to field his best squad because in a situation like this Pep can't take too many risks.
The victory of Arsenal yesterday against fellow Londoners was pretty deserved as they were the better team in that match and they showed that in their general performance. None of the players for Arsenal was found lacking in terms of performance level as you can see how all of them were outstanding and the goals contribution involved all the players on the pitch of play.

Havertz who was signed from Chelsea during the summer was a standout player in the mayhem of the blue club as he scored 2 goals which has now increased his tally. Since his arrival at Arsenal he’s comtinued breaking barriers and has improved tremendously as such showing more reasons why he was a good signing by Arsenal.

Though he was overlooked by Poch and wasn’t trusted especially by the new owners, i think his goals have been able to redeem on the reason he was signed and wanted by Arteta. This high attitude is the one that players who wre shown the exit by key owners need to uphold because this helps in building players value.

Man city ought to be very consistent in their performance especially in the matches against Brighton and Nottingham because right now Arsenal are away with over 5 points though they’re 2 matches away from City but they have managed to build good goal difference to help them in their lead. This means City must bring in their A game if they’re to stand a chance in this fixtures.

BTC, a coin of today and tomorrow.
So far tonight in the premier league is already first half Everton 1-0 Liverpool, Crystal palace 0-0 Newcastle united and Manchester united 1-1 Sheff united can Liverpool be able to level the game before 50 minutes and won the game to enable them maintain with their title race? second half will tell.
Its over for Liverpool, their game has not improved since losing against Atalanta in the Champions League.
They are aiming for 4 trophies this season and in the end they only won the EFL cup.
The worst may yet happen, after Kloop leaves - Liverpool next season might be like Chelsea in this season.
Last season Klopp and Liverpool didn't do well, but towards the ending of last they started playing good football. They sustained the momentum to the current season and we all thought that Liverpool will go home with atleast 2 titles/trophies. They had the opportunity to win 4 but currently all seems to have sliden off their reach. This night they surprisingly dashed their English premier League hope, leaving just Manchester city and Arsenal as the only contenders.

Manchester city in their own side is off from the Champions League and they will therefore channel all their energy towards the English premier League title.

I'm tired of talking about Chelsea, they should just try to bring new players to the team and probably fire the coach, they're not impressing the fans, as evidenced by Arsenal's humiliation of them.
All Chelsea fans are just tired with the way they are performing, seriously I also want the coach to be fired, Chelsea performance is not really impressive this season, Pochettino is not really the right coach for Chelsea, Pochettino have been given enough time and their is no improvement in Chelsea performance, I was just surprised how Chelsea conceded 5 goals in their match against Arsenal, that’s really embarrassing, a club like Chelsea is not suppose to concede so much goals like that.

Chelsea will still finish this season without a trophy and will not qualify for any competition, they will simply continue to play in the Premier League without competing in any tough competition.
Maybe if Chelsea doesn’t get some new players and get a new coach, then even next season, let’s expect Chelsea to participate in only premier league without winning any trophy or participating in other leagues.

Arsenal will do everything necessary to win all of their league games since they still have a chance to win the league trophy.
Yeah Arsenal is still having chance to win the premier league, but even if Arsenal wins all their matches, they won’t be able to win the league if Manchester City wins all their matches also, and we all know Manchester City will do everything possible to win all the matches they are also having left, so nobody can conclude on who will win the league between Arsenal and Manchester City.

Smart is not enough, there must be skills
Nicolas Jackson has been playing terrible since he joined Chelsea. He has wasted unbelievable amount of goal chances including this Arsenal match.  Sad  I think that he doesn't deserve to be a part of this team. Chelsea haven't been doing good at all with transfers. They have been just spending a huge sum but doing it without thinking much. At least Palmer is an on-target transfer.
The fact that Jackson wasted many goal opportunities even in front of the goal there was no opponent Jackson often failed to execute it, honestly we saw that opportunity in yesterday's match really upset Jackson.
Chelsea just spent a lot of money without doing any analysis, all the expensive players bought became bad, if Cole Palmer is but only one player is the right one out of hundreds of millions of dollars spent.

Today Liverpool lost against Everton by 2-0. Not many people expected this result obviously. By this loss it looks like Liverpool have given up on the Premier League title as well. I can't believe how they lost this easy today.  Sad
I also don't want results like this, but it's proof that Liverpool have given up on this season like there's no chance of a title race.
Why do Liverpool lose so often these days? Roll Eyes

What a Huge win for Everton, it will really be a shock to Liverpool fance to night just imagine Everton that was trash by Chelsea on Monday and today them beat Liverpool by 2 zero I think Atalanta players have really disorganized Liverpool players after their champions league match Liverpool have not recovered and now they are out from premier league title race.
Liverpool's lost tonight is a quite a shameful cleansheet defeat, one similar to that of Arsenal lost to Aston villa last week. It's all an advantage to Manchester City towards the premier league title race and more advantageous is that City still have two outstanding games yet unplayed and that's a potential 6points in advance. Been a Merseyside derby I knew it wasn't going to be a simple game for Liverpool to sail through but I never for once thought they were going to lose it looking at what is at stake in the race.

Klopp must be very angry seeing what the boys played today and I believe klopp had higher expectations winning the title before leaving the team, unfortunately it seems Liverpool want to backslide from the race cause I never expected Everton winning against Liverpool. Why will Liverpool quit now against Everton this is actually surprising or is as a result of home advantage. Arsenal will not leave the race neither Manchester city but let's watch out what City boys will play against Brighton tomorrow

If Klopp kept quite in the beginning of the season, all these might not happen, but he was very proud and aim to win treble in his last season as a Liverpool manager but ended up with just Carling Cup.
There is still hope for Liverpool since Arsenal still have to defeat Man United and Tottenham before they can be completely free and if Manchester City drop points.

Arsenal’s title depend on Man City; if Man City lose any match, Arsenal have the high chance to win the League, but if Manchester City win all their remaining matches, then it is over, and winning their last five matches is possible.

Nicholas Jackson was nearest to put the ball at the back of the net but tht boy is a palm wine tapper, he has been far from good from the last three games Chelsea has played.
Also, Chelsea blunt ASF without Cole Palmer, they made chances but who would execute them? Nicholas Jackson? Hell No!

Arsenal won against Chelsea this evening by a different score. I didn't expect such a result, but it was a very comfortable win for them.
Their only goal now is to become champions of the Premier League and win the cup. I hope they win the cup this year.
Arsenal were criticized for not being able to beat their opponents easily, they could always score goals in the last minutes, but I think this five-goal win was enough for a lot of criticism. Arsenal played a good game from start to finish in this match.

If Jackson had received a red card in the position where he stepped on Tomiyasu's wrist, I think he should have, and Chelsea could have left with a much worse result in this match. The subtleties and details of Ødegaard's passes are a very different matter; he always makes very accurate and intelligent passes.

Right now, Manchester City = Guardiola and vice versa. It is quite an obvious fact.  Smiley

Guardiola has actually achieved great things with Manchester City for 8 years. The Champions League title was the only one left and he achieved it as well in the previous season finally. He is just trying to increase the number of titles of the tournaments he has already won at least for once.  Grin

One day they will part ways for sure but it is hard to predict when. When it happens the name I would like to see filling his place is Arteta. I think that he would be the best option to maintain this vision.  Smiley

Well, so far things in the Man CIity are going well in the PL, because in the UCL Madrid already did the work and actually qualified, I thought this was going to be the final, for me it was an early final, but the Man City is a team that is still in the fight, the PL fight is a fact that they are very close to taking first place from the other, and I think that Man City can come stronger and can totally make the difference. , so in this case we can see that every time we are waiting for a result from these 3 teams like Arsenal, Liverpool and Man City, then we must be very attentive to this type of things, that's why I say that PL is one of the most difficult leagues in the world right now and I dare say that it is the one with the highest level of demand.

Major Pep Guardiola contract development hinted in decision that ‘suits’ both him and Manchester City

Quote

Manchester City manager Pep Guardiola could reportedly yet extend his contract at the Etihad Stadium by a further 12 months, according to a club insider.

The latest development on the future of the Catalan coach comes as concern begins to grow amongst Manchester City supporters over his contract situation, with his existing deal running until the end of next season.

While Pep Guardiola himself has always insisted on a lack of need for urgency when it comes to his future, and the coach retaining a strong relationship built on conversation and trust with the club’s hierarchy, some supporters – and possibly players – may want clarity.
