I don't believe that penalty shootouts are completely about luck. Because some goalkeepers are really good at reading at which corner a player will shoot.    In the same way penalty masters mostly make difference also.

Lunin was very impressive with his saves. Did you see Rüdiger's help for Lunin on Kovacic's penalty too?    These nice details really make big difference during penalty shootouts. Manchester City were just not good enough.

Guardiola missed a big opportunity surely. I was seeing like the winner of that matchup would lift the CL trophy also and now it will most probably be Real Madrid doing it. Anyways, Guardiola had better focus on securing the PL and FA Cup trophies as of now.

Yeah Manchester City doesn’t play in champions league again, and if you can check the matches left for Manchester City to play, then those matches shouldn’t be difficult for them, the only match which I think might end up giving Manchester City difficult moment this season is Tottenham, and am not really satisfied with Tottenham performance lately, so Manchester city should be able to win them also, Manchester City already missed the champions league this season, they won’t want to lose the premier league again.

Manchester will have to focus on both premier league and FA cup, let’s see how Manchester City will play in their next FA cup match against Chelsea, the match is not going to be a easy one because we all know Chelsea to be a inconsistent team this season, but they are always playing well when playing against strong clubs, and we all can see how Manchester city are playing well this season, the match won’t be easy.

I think we need to see what each of these top 3 big buys outcome will be tomorrow. If Manchester City win their match, I think they still have high chance of becoming the Champions with 5 more games to go but you see Arsenal and Liverpool, if any of them lose their tomorrow match, then their journey for the battleship of the league title will come to an end because Manchester City will be given them 5 extra point difference which will be very difficult to cover.


There is possibility but only if Manchester City fuck up their next game and we both know that team wouldn't allow such to happen, they wouldn't not after losing Champions League, they will bag the remaining FA cup and Premier League to ease their disappointment on Real Madrid but if football happen, then Liverpool and Arsenal might have a chance but it's low chance for them honestly.

with Manchester City's performance which I think is always optimistic, I think they can overcome all the teams that will face them, including Tottenham who you said will be a problem for them, I'm sure Manchester City can overcome it well even though it won't be so easy. Yes of course, every manager would be disappointed after being knocked out of a major competition like the CL, but when it comes to penalty shootout it's all about luck. They did their best but luck was on Real Madrid's side and the Los Blancos scaled through. Liverpool elimination from the European League means the 3 top teams can focus on the EPL alone to fight for 1 trophy. And that will definitely make the competition even tighter so as not to lose any more points in the remaining matches they have. With no schedule outside the EPL, coaches are increasingly required to work harder because only the EPL trophy is still open for grabs and like it or not the players have to use all their abilities and energy. Both Man City, Arsenal and Liverpool have to move on from their bad results, although personally I am disappointed that there are no more Premier League representatives in the UCL and Europa League. Chelsea with enough rest and Manchester City with tired legs after drawing the gake against Real Madrid. My opinion is that, The game would end in a full time draw and Manchester City would be knocked out of the Fa Cup Competition.

Chelsea during the both games they have played in the Premier League Competition have been the better side in general during the home and away games played.
Chelsea just failed to manage these games, or should I say they didn't defend well until the very end?
The so called Chelsea Football club won six goals to nothing the other day against Everton. I will not write of the blues, I'm tipping them for another finals against Manchester United after losing the first one to Liverpool.

The English Premier League is affordable for both the elite and average team. Every one knows their favorite team weakness and strong momentum. Yes I agree with you guys because indeed from the match schedule we can already find out if Manchester City has no pressure and only have hope in the Premier League and the FA Cup while this competition does not put any pressure because the opponents faced are only clubs that have often been often faced by Manchester City.

Arsenal could actually have a chance to win the title this season but they have to continue to win in the remaining matches and Manchester City has to lose at least once and at that time Arsenal still has a big chance to lead the Premier League.

I do agree that City played good again, but I have seen them do a lot better before, this season both at Premier league and now we have seen at UCL as well, they weren't as good as last year for example where they won both of them. Premier league got super close as well, they have two teams chasing them and with just one tie they would have a chance to lose the entire league as well.

There are few games left of the season and with just 2 losses they could end the entire season with zero titles or cups as well. I am not saying that is what we are going to see, but normally City ends seasons with at least one cup, and seeing them not win anything at all would be very difficult for the fans and definitely for the staff, Pep would be furious.

It's easy to beat Tottenham as long as ange as totenham coach continues to use his shitty tactics against the city. I don't see it as a serious issue because Tottenham consistently plays so poorly in all matches by implementing a high line defensive strategy which can be countered easily through use quick counter attack. Ange was extremely harsh, and he never accepted criticism from others regarding his tactics and i don't know why he keeps believe on his monotone tactic.

Manchester City has easier fixtures than Liverpool or Arsenal, both of whom will face numerous major clubs at the end of the season and it's increase city's probability to win the competition a lot. I am confident that City will win the Premier League trophy again this season, especially with ez fixtures increasing the chances of success.
