The Chelsea team must have performed better in comparison as they are far ahead of the Fulham team in any aspect. If you look at the points table, you can definitely see the Chelsea team ahead. And in terms of game performance and attack, you can see the highlights match, Chelsea team made a massive attack targeting the goal post of Fulham team. Chelsea had 17 shots on goal - and Fulham had 14 shots on goal. You want to say that despite this difference, the Chelsea team performed poorly.

@FinePoine0 Chelsea fought a lot for those 3 points and in the end what really matters is that they got it and with this win it’ll uplift their mood and even Poch will be relieved because he knows his job is now under scrutiny. Furthermore whenever I have felt that Chelsea can improve and change their game they have disappointed me this season hence I’m not going to raise my hopes on them unless they start to consistently perform.

Aston Villa in the last 1year have been the highest point takers in the EPL. They've been exceptional at their games, winning almost always and ensuring that they stay at the top chart. No one saw them coming and they've been able to be consistent, keeping home win records this season and they've not failed to cause troubles for teams. They really need to stay that way and maintain their consistency to keep their hopes of qualifying for the UCL alive.

They've got the capacity to remain on top but I really don't think City who's now below them would let them stay there, so if at all there'd be a change in the standings, then Villa won't go below the 6th position. They're so good to even try qualifying for the UEL next season. As competitive as the EPL has been this year, so far Villa have proven to be strong enough to fight back threats and create value and confidence in the team too.

Aston villa was a trouble for all of big clubs in EPL. This club was consistently to perform even better. Im only wondering what recipe owned by emery to push this club from nothing to something. It's hard for villa to go back at the bottom again but nothing is impossible in the football.
Chelsea is always climbing up and it's time for aston villa to play in the UCL next season. I can't really sure aston can enter into the title race but winning one spot to go to the UCL is far better than getting nothing. Aston villa can still prove it.

The club needs only to consistent in getting three points till the end of the season. We are still in the mid season and yeah you know that if emery will have easy jobs in the upcoming matches. The club has been destroying some big clubs and villa got much applauses from the fans.
I have heard that emery is trying to recruit the new player for villa. Being qualified for the UCL next season will far better rather than having big expectation to get EPL. Emery can get additional income from UCL next season.

I can't really say that coz this team is very dynamic as it was always getting change anytime. The result against fulham was crap and it's not the best from chelsea coz many opportunities wasted for nothing. Things are starting to turn around for chelsea slowly but surely.
Antony taylor was a disaster for any of chelsea game but he was a bit better since he gave chelsea penalty which was helping the club to take the advantage of winning the game against fulham. This must be noted that if chelsea was doing very hard thing to win the game but it can do it.
Glad to see that chelsea was making it happen and im sure that if it can climb up again till the end of season or at least quaified for the europa league soon. It is undeniable that Chelsea's performance was disappointing, as they created numerous scoring opportunities but failed to convert any of them into goals. This is the main problem owned by chelsea and the club needs to have a good striker as soon as possible. Someone like osimhen would help chelsea to do one tap. Chelsea needs to get a new striker asap.

Chelsea have been inconsistent this season, and their performance can’t be predicted. I was surprised that Chelsea won their match, actually, the match was not really easy for Chelsea, but they were able to secure one goal in the match. Chelsea's performance has improved recently, they have been able to win their last three matches in the Premier League, which is really a nice one for them. Let’s see how they are going to perform in their subsequent matches. Their next Premier League match will be against Liverpool, and I don’t think Chelsea will be able to win the match.

I think the main reason why Chelsea's form is unstable is because the players are injured too much. The situation has improved recently, but Chelsea still needs more essential pillars. Chelsea is a big club and they shouldn’t be found behind Middlesbrough, it was so embarrassing to watch them lose, cause they were definitely the favorites to win that game. They better do all they can to win the 2nd leg.

Palmer as a striker is an insane decision that cost the team because he missed so many chances that a main striker could probably have converted one or two. I think Pochettino needs to think carefully before approaching a game so that he makes right choices especially in the 2nd leg. He needs to play the players in their main position and not to try out some experiments in a semi final. He should take the 2nd leg seriously lest Middlesbrough hands another defeat to him at the bridge.

Honestly Chelsea made me nervous in the second half as they started to give more chances to their competitor. They should have played much more dominant than that in this half. Fulham can be a really dangerous competitor when you let them play more comfortably. Sad

They're mostly penalties. But, a goal remains a goal. He's had a good record at his age as one of the finest players scoring st his age. I love him in between, calm, nice and composed under pressure.
Asides Gallagher and Petrovic,he's got to be one of tue players with so much impact into Mauricio Pochetino's side Chelsea. Even for Manchester City he did impressive he had no issues with Pep Guardiola only that he wanted more game time.

That's how it goes when they're not stable and couldn't keep possession. Manchester United tommorow better perform,lol. I don't want to see Erik Ten Hag leave anyways.

The only Chelsea player who I always praise in every match because his performance is always above the average of other players but it is unfortunate when he has a pretty good performance but is not accompanied by the performance of the whole team because in every match Chelsea only 1 or 2 players can play well in 90 minutes of game time.

Palmer is one of the players who has potential, it's just that until now he hasn't got the right club because looking at the record of the club he defended he was very good when at Manchester City but the competition there is very strong and difficult for young players like Palmer against some great players like bernardo for attacking midfielders and for strikers also in the end there are Alvarez and also Haaland. The English Premier League game between Chelsea and Fulham at Stamford Bridge earlier today was actually a very tough game. It was a closely contested game which did not produce as much goals as it was mostly predicted before the kick off.

That was the first game of today and just like many, I expected a more entertaining match that'll produce more number of goals than we saw but surprisingly it didn't as the home side made sure they protected the slim lead till the final whistle. That was Chelsea's third straight win in the league and hopefully they'll continue with their current performance to move further up the league table.

Chelsea defense though, ( SMH ) they have to dxxz better, it was a good day to keep clean sheet even with all of that pressure from Fulham.
The late freekick from former player William also wasn't good enough to see them hold Chelsea down. The midfielder's alongside, Gusto did pretty well and how they linked the attackers, you can't just rely on a player like Broja for goals and the same man leading that attack.

They did better to score in the second half but Chelsea had a good walk which was very calculative. They'll miss the experience of Thiago Silva whenever he finally leaves for good!

Manchester city will try as much to regain their top spot mostly as things are beginning to take shape in midfield with KDB back, but it might be sometime for him to regain form or find a new one that would help the attack secure more goals. I would have loved to see him, Haaland and Doku play for long and find a rhythm, am very sure they be good combo upfront.
