Absolutely, reflecting on the past year, especially in sports, can be a mix of highs and lows. It's tough when a team doesn't perform as expected. Do you think Arteta's coaching style might evolve in the upcoming year, considering the challenges Arsenal faced in 2023? Also, what changes or improvements would you like to see in the team's strategy for the next season?

Arteta has been head coach since the 2019/20 season.
At that time, he made a surprise in his first season by presenting the FA Cup, followed by the Community Shield title for the Gunners, and many fans hoped that Arteta would be able to lead Arsenal to win the English Premier League.
Four seasons in charge, the Premier League title still seems like a dream.
And as I said before, He has trust issues with his bench and never changes his gameplay when it's not working.

I am only waiting for one thing to happen at Manchester United and I have expressed it quite many times which is when the hell is Ten Haag going to be expelled and fired from the team management. What is the management of Manchester United waiting for to come on woth a decision no matter that is the end of year something should be taken care of.Really disappointing seeing Manchester United degrading such far

I agree with you I want Manchester United management to sack Eric Tenhaag.
But actually achievement is a process, even arsenal with its coach mikel arteta in his first season only ranked 8th. can not bring to European competition even the conference league can not. but now arsenal is a team that is always in the strong candidates for league champions every season.

There are some clubs that must sack their coaches

The two clubs that must be mentioned are Manchester United and Newcastle, both of which have shown a horrific performance that is not even worthy of being watched. There have been many complaints came to the ten hag but he being so careless with all of complaints from the fans.

People were overhyped once hojlund was scoring his first goal for united and what's next now? They were once again missing three points which making us feel so disappointed with it.

In every game, Ten Hag consistently modifies the strategy, demonstrating his adaptability and willingness to experiment. However, it is unfortunate that some perceive this coach negatively. In fact, ten hag does something useless by changing the strategy anytime.

He was putting antony as a starting line up instead of garnacho which was a stupid decision. Manchester united shall not try to keep that shit much longer in the club. Ten hag never gave positive vibes in the club.

It makes players being so stressful.

Liverpool started the match effectively. The first half ended 0-0 after M.Salah failed to take the penalty shot in the 23rd minute.
Salah scored his goal in the 49th minute of the second half and made amends. After this goal, Newcastle responded with A.Isak 5 minutes later and the score became 1-1. Liverpool made the score 3-1 with Jones in the 74th minute and Gakpo in the 78th minute. Although Botman made the score 3-2 in the 81st minute, he could not prevent Salah's penalty in the 86th minute and Newcastle left the field defeated with a score of 4. -2. Newcastle goalkeeper Dubravka was named player of the match. Although Dubravka conceded 4 goals in the match, he made 10 saves in total. If it wasn't for Dubravka day, Liverpool would have won a historic victory.

Few hours to Liverpool most expected match since in this season Liverpool has recovered alot and has recorded good records in this season and under the current coach which is something that has brought with it alot of recovery fit for the club Tonight going face-to-face with a good club like Newcastle united also is a big challenge for Liverpool that all fans are truly looking out to how Liverpool will perform this bight in a much anticipated manner because this game is going to determine alot on where the club will be in terms of points and sustainability of the position on the premiers leagues table.

I can't fully trust Liverpool to defeat Newcastle tonight to be honest. Because I still remember how that match against Manchester United went. Liverpool were really ineffective at finishing despite looking dominant in statistics. They somehow managed to lose 2 points at Anfield there. Why wouldn't it happen against Newcastle as well right?

This match against Newcastle isn't much different than the match I mentioned technically. They have similar difficulties for Liverpool. But I hope Liverpool prove me wrong and manage to get a comfortable win while Newcastle are having tough days.

Liverpool will take an important step in the Newcastle match. If they win, they will not only get 3 points from a tough match like Newcastle, but they will also be 3 points ahead of the closest team in the Premier League. They currently have equal points with Aston Villa. The result of this match will be very important for them. Newcastle, on the other hand, aims to gain three important points for the European cups. I'm sure we will watch an enjoyable match.

I was thinking that he should be sacked this season. Because think about it, if a new manager comes in right now, no one would blame him for losing and he can get the team tested in the remaining half of the season.  He can get the players that he wants in the January transfer market.

But let's say if a new manager joins at the end of the season, they will take a lot of time to get the team ready and I don't think they will be able to win anything in the next season as well. This season they can not expect to win anything, they are out of the Champions League and are far from the Top 4.  They keep dropping points and I believe sacking Ten Hag is the best solution.

I really don't understand Manchester United. They are also not much different than Chelsea in the Premier League lately.  Sad

I mean that Manchester United are also really inconsistent over the years. One season they are impressive but the other one is a big disappointment. Especially since the Alex Ferguson time Manchester United haven't been able to achieve that consistency. In fact the squad isn't full of bad players. There are really skillful players but this problem affects everybody's performance. I would like to see Manchester United and Chelsea both being in the fight for top 4 normally.

When you look back at how Klopp developed Liverpool, they finished the first season as 8th with 60 points. Then they finished 4th with 76 points. Then they finished again 4th with 75 points. Then they finished 2nd with 97 points! And then finally in their fifth year they finished first with a breathtaking 99 points. It really was a process for them. But Klopp had great players he could develop over time. Arsenal could be lacking players who are on the level of Salah maybe, I am not sure.

Klopp was unlucky to be competing during Pep's and Manchester City's prime. That Liverpool team could have dominated the league more in the regular seasons. Arsenal have young and talented players. Arteta can contribute to their mental development. However, the transfer of a finishing striker could help them to get results faster and I think that would be a better strategy for them. Klopp took Liverpool to the top after a few years of adventure. If Arsenal want that to happen more quickly, they need to give Arteta some meaningful gifts like Osimhen or Mbappe.
I think Arsenal need a finishing striker. Guirassy can be a good alternative to these names. He is also a quality striker. It's showing its best performance this year. Of course, I think that if the conditions arise, Mbappe or Osimhen should definitely be added to the team because Arsenal now wants to get their efforts. They have to spend money on this.

Klopp has climbed the ladder one step at a time while at Liverpool since joining from Dortmund Oct 2015. From the records you mentioned, he has achieved a total of 313 wins in 508 matches.

Jurgen Klopp has won all the trophies starting from the Premier League Asia (2017), Champion League (2018/19), Premier League (2019/20), UEFA Super Cup (2019/20), FIFA Club World Cup (2019), FA Cup ( 2021/22), Carabao Cup (2021/22), and Community Shield (2022/23).
We recognize the process that Klopp has gone through as Liverpool's best manager. And this season again has the opportunity to give Liverpool its second Premier League trophy.

Van Persie is a legend at Arsenal. He is a dangerous player for opponents. But he decided to move to the next club to experience the PL and UCL trophies.
Fabregas followed Van Persie's steps by moving to Barca.
Now Odegard and Saka are great players in the Arsenal squad. Should not be confused with Salah.
I believe that Klopp achieved something with a team like Liverpool, who wasn't really all that amazing at the time he joined, and that's the important difference.

If he joined to a team that already did amazing then these achievements wouldn't mean anything, you could also ruin a team as well or make them win everything, which is important, like Pep joined Man City and they were already a good team but he took them from good to just dominating monsters, so that's important too, but I believe what Klopp did was even bigger, he took a team that was just mediocre, wasn't like great team, didn't expected to win the league and he won everything with that team, that's quite a big achievement without a doubt for sure.

I think Chelsea actually took things easy towards the end because they ended up conceding two goals in a quick time. Chelsea was looking to keep a clean sheet before that. And those two goals actually changed the complexion of the match. Suddenly it looked like Chelsea was in trouble. But in the end, Chelsea was able to actually win the match. But they didn't dominate the match for sure. Which I expected them to do. But actually, Luton Town played far better than expected. They definitely played well for a team that is currently in the relegation zone. If they could keep themselves on the side in this match, probably they could have actually walked off with 1 point.

After Roman Abramovich left Chelsea, Chelsea turned into an ordinary Premier League team. As the quality players in the team were also injured, they played away against Luton Town today as a completely ordinary team. From my point of view, there is only Thiago Silva in the team that I know, and I think he is now at the test of his career.
Chelsea made the match 0-2 with two goals in the first half and the first half ended with this score. At the 70th minute, C.Palmer scored his second goal of the match and Chelsea's third. Just when Chelsea thought they would win the match easily, the match became difficult when Luton Town scored two goals in the 80th and 87th minutes. The excitement peaked in the last minutes, but Luton Town could not score the 3rd goal and the match ended with Chelsea winning 2-3. With this victory, Chelsea achieved their first away win in the last 5 matches. He had previously lost 4 matches. I miss Chelsea's quality squad of previous years.
Luton Town are clearly the surprise team of the year for the Premier League. I don't think the standings fully reflect this, but I think they made us say "Tough Luton away" with their performance, which is a great achievement. The main problem in Chelsea is definitely the goal and the defence line. That area is so troubled that it is obvious that Chelsea will concede goals. Apart from Cole Palmer and Gallagher, there are no decent players in the team. I keep Nkunku apart because he is a very high quality footballer. Palmer will be Chelsea's future Lampard, both the England national team and Chelsea's future years will be marked. He showed his quality in his first year at Chelsea and Guardiola will regret selling him. However, in De Bruyne's injury, he would have done a very good job. Chelsea made a very right investment by buying Palmer.

Sir Jim Ratcliffe has completed the deal and he is the owner of Manchester United as of last Sunday. I have seen some news also like he isn't keen on sacking Erik ten Hag quickly. He looks eager to work with Erik ten Hag for longer but we will see. Honestly I wouldn't still expect Erik ten Hag to keep his job until the end of the season like this.

Because it is like they win one week but the other week is a big disappointment. This Nottingham defeat after beating Aston Villa at Old Trafford can be given as a great example. They are already 9 points behind top 4. If they can't improve I just expect Erik ten Hag to get sacked.  Sad

I've said it a thousand, a million and I'll also say it a billion dollars times, There's no other perfect for for the club than Erik Ten Hag. A look at last season is enough guy what you'll get when he happens to get the backing and support from whoever the owners of the club would be. They're big investors in Europe and know how to run this job. I just don't want to see unnecessary british players who are overhyped and priced not capable of handling the badge in Manchester United they suck.

Changes and Growth takes time. All Manchester United fans should be patient. He can only be sacked when you get him qualified players and he doesn't use em well.

But in reality you know that Manchester United qualified last season for the Champions League because all other teams were surprisingly bad, no? Remember how bad Liverpool was doing and Tottenham? That was the reason why Manchester United had a chance to finish the season top four. I doubt that this season Manchester United will make it into the top four as they are having huge issues. They would have to beat Liverpool, Arsenal, Manchester City, Tottenham and Aston Villa to end the season with a good finish. At this point it is 8 points to catch Tottenham and I doubt that Manchester United can improve their form by so much that they will finish the season better than Tottenham.

Let's not call it unlucky because I think everything happens for a reason and when Klopp missed to win the Premier League title with those 97 points, he understood that in order to beat Manchester City he has to go absolutely above and beyond the limits. That's what he again did with his Liverpool team when they scored 99 points, which was the second best result ever in the Premier League as Manchester City made it 100 points one time.

But the fact of the matter is that Klopp took on the challenge and that they didn't lose track of their goals as a unit. They wanted the title and they were devastated when they couldn't win it with 97 points. No problem, we raise the bar and make it 99 points! I love the mentality Klopp has.
The resilient and determined mentality instilled by Jurgen Klopp in the Liverpool team has turned setbacks into motivation and pushed the players to exceed their limits. It is a testament to his managerial prowess. Recognizing that competing with Manchester City required extraordinary effort, Klopp motivated his players to go above and beyond their previous achievements. Rather than allowing the near-miss to demoralize them, the team embraced the challenge and collectively aimed for a higher standard. This speaks volumes about the strong team culture and belief in the manager's vision.

The fact that Klopp and his team raised the bar and came close to securing the title again demonstrates the effectiveness of continuous improvement. The mentality to strive for excellence is a key characteristic of successful teams. The ability to inspire this mindset in his players is a significant factor in Liverpool's consistent competitiveness. Klopp's leadership has fostered a culture where each setback is viewed as an opportunity to regroup, set higher standards, and pursue success relentlessly.

That true. Always be like this year in and year out around this time of the year...
That was not a good game by any means.
Arteta is a good coach but needs to keep aside his ideas for the basics once in a while
It is not enough to be close to the championship. Arsenal has to win it
He has trust issues with his bench and never changes his gameplay when it's not working.
What a disappointing way to end 2023.  2 consecutive losses...

Arsenal's performance is really about highs and lows because they win many of the tough games and lose some of the games that nobody would expect them to lose. But this unpredictability in their performance is a tough problem to solve for Arteta. I think again and again it will be about experience and growing year after year.

I really don't know how Arsenal fans are coping with it. At the start of the season, they gave high hopes and now at this moment, they are bottling it. They could not even keep the lead till the 2023 year. They lost to West Ham and then again lost to Fulham. After that Bukayo Saka goal, I thought no way Arsenal was going to lose but they lost.

If they want to win and be the champion of the Premier League, they cannot lose matches like these. Guess what they are now below Manchester City, and they have played 1 match less. The gap between them and Liverpool will be 5 points if Liverpool manages to win against Newcastle today, so I don't think they can come back after this. Arteta needs to show his magic and they cannot repeat it again. Guardiola came back and I don't think anyone can stop him. It is going to be Liverpool vs Manchester City right now for the Premier League championship.
