City players are weak, and they don't have the fighting spirit anymore. Maybe, it's because they don't have the strength to fight. City was lucky because at the last minute of the match Everton attackers had an opportunity to make a difference but they messed it up, because they were pleased with a draw. City suituation is getting worse than that of United during Ten Hag's time, because United did not have such losing streak.

Maybe the tactics of the manager is shite and nothing but absolute bollocks. He keeps crying about his players but the only player not present has got to be stones and Rodri. I feel pity for those who compare Pep Guardiola with Sir Alex Ferguson finally. I hope they splash more cash during the upcoming transfer window. I have come to appreciate Erik ten Hag more with how he handled the injury crises of United last season.

And now the match is almost in the final minutes. And it's a shame that the score still hasn't changed until now. It's really quite stressful. because I hope Man City will win this match. If not then it will really be a bad season for Man city. because it still can't return to positive results again. But it looks like the score won't change until the end. Because now we are also in additional minutes of time. So expecting Man City to score a goal in the extra minutes is a bit impossible. Although they continue to create good chances.

And in a few days Man City will have a match against Leicester. I think I really have to start not expecting much from Man City anymore. Even though I keep saying this. But I always hope that Man City will rise.
City lost points again, I can't say they played badly, but again bad luck, Haaland missed a penalty, and they also missed from Everton, in the end only a draw. It seems to me that this crisis takes on a different character when the team tries to play, but they do not believe that they can win. How can you evaluate City that scores 1 goal per match, in my opinion this is a terrible result for a team with such potential.

City played a bit better than what did in the previous games, but very weak mentality. They were totally down after they conceded the equalizer goal by Everton. They have lost their winning mentality, probably due to their lose streak.

They're now only winning 1 game from 13 games played. It's disgusting to see that happens to them now.

Just like I predicted before, Everton vs Manchester City will end in draw, it's really happen lol.

My heart was stopped when Manchester City get penalty kick, I thought they will score, but gladly Pickford as the best goalkeeper in England, can save it. Manchester get a curse, they play really badly even though the play with the same players.
Yes your prediction is correct... Didn't expect Man City not to win again and who jinxed Haaland because of this incompetent penalty is indeed like a curse.
I feel City will win against Everton because playing at home of course after a long defeat should be able to win, fakat said otherwise ... instead they played worse, more possession of the ball but did not find the right opportunity to score goals.

It was a painful one because once again Manchester City could not win at home after taking the lead with a greater degree of possession. But it was useless when Everton equalised and Haaland's penalty miss added to the frustration of Manchester City in this match. It looks like Manchester City will continue to experience a decline in the Premier League standings this season if they cannot get another win in the upcoming matches next month.

Even though City dominated the game to some extent, Everton had good chances that they couldn't capitalize on. One of the shocking chance came at the very late hour of the game when four Everton players countered two City players. It was quite unfortunate that they weren't creative enough, because that game ought to end 1-2 in the favour of Everton. Manchester city still continues with their poor performance, so I want to believe that none of us here are surprised with the results.

Like I've said in my previous thread, City are currently in their times of trials and poor performance. They might get out of it, but I don't know when. They didn't play like the City i used to know. They still have that ability to push the ball forward, but don't just know how to put the ball at the back of the net. Not sure if they will be able to perform their miracle this season because as it stands, Liverpool isn't joking at all. And as it stands, if two other teams directly below city wins today, City might end up dropping to 8th position.

Let’s hope they don’t disappoint this time around, they have been playing poorly and their performance has not been encouraging as a team, but I hope they break the deadlock today and finish the match in a win. Manchester City really started the game well but if they cannot keep up with this consistency till the second half and Everton performs better in the second half, we may see an equalizer in this game that will see Everton defending for the rest of the game and the match ends in a draw. They also started well against Manchester United in their last match in the premier league, and they still end up losing the match against them in the final minutes. So a good start doesn’t mean it will be a good ending for them, but if they try, they can get a win eventually in this game.
As usual a match full of entertainment from Man City, so enjoy the Citizen game decay before they get back on track. Everton in the second half even had the opportunity to score again if Man City game did not change much. Everton are very eager to rise and that is a plus point that Man City does not have in every match.
I can say Haaland is the one killing Manchester City because he have secured many opportunities to deliver victory for Manchester City but he has become something else. Pep Guardiola is really suffering with this condition he found himself in now and I don't see him getting out soon because it getting worse day by day. Manchester City dominated the entire game but failed to utilise the opportunity they had, particularly Haaland has ruined everything because if he could improve in his skill he could have been better but he failed because he lack creativity.

Man City doesn't seem to have really returned to their original form. They still seem to have difficulty even facing Everton where there should be a clear difference in performance between the two. Moreover, this is a home match for Man City. So this should again be an easy match for Man City if Man City is in its best performance. Unfortunately, Man City is not the Man City we know today. At the start of the first half Man City really looked like they had returned to their best performance again. but apparently it didn't last long.  Sad
Everton have equalized the goal and the opportunity that City had to take the lead was jeopardized with by Haaland. He missed a penalty kick which Savinho won after he was brought down inside the box by Vitalii Mykolenko on the 62nd minutes. City is having a big challenge of winning their matches and I thought this could change everything.
And now the match is almost in the final minutes. And it's a shame that the score still hasn't changed until now. It's really quite stressful. because I hope Man City will win this match. Manchester City failed to get a win today and Haaland did missed a penalty in the early minutes of the second half which even make everything worse after all the other good chances they failed to make a good use of.

I will not expect anything much from the Manchester City team maybe until January when they add reinforcement to strengthen their squad. Maybe with this Pep might be able to get his team to have everything they have been lacking including in their mental resilience but until then let's not expect anything much from them, including in the early part of January 2025 since  it is already closed.

Too late for you, I think by now you should have realized that the current Manchester City isn't the one we have been used for the past few years. The team is in complete shambles and the players don't seem to have that much confidence.

For a gambler who loves to take risks. It's way better you stake that the opposing team wins or even draws. You will rip massive rather than trying to play it safe by betting for a Manchester City win, which is a very rare thing lately. The Crystal Palace match is another one of big interest  Cheesy

As I said 1 point for Everton and well the result is no longer surprising. Manchester City with 13 games and now their bad record continues:
2-1 loss to Tottenham
2-1 loss to Bournemouth
4-1 loss to Sporting
2-1 loss to Brighton
4-0 loss to Spurs
3-3 draw to Feyenoord
2-0 loss to Liverpool
3-0 win vs Nottingham Forest
2-2 draw vs Crystal Palace
2-0 loss to Juventus
2-1 loss to Manchester United
2-1 loss to Aston Villa
1-1 draw to Everton

Meaning Manchester City is very anti win, there is no word win in Manchester City dictionary this season. Closing the end of the year with many bad records especially for Pep Guardiola who definitely needs a holiday. Grin

Man City are really in trouble right now. Can't believe they are being threatened by Everton to the point that Erling Haaland missed a penalty. Something he excels at. Of they are not careful, this would be another game where they will record a loss. At this point, I have little faith in man City being able to give anything of joy to the fans.
I don't know how, but the players in Man City also seem to have lost their confidence. Haaland is not as sharp as usual. Even though Haaland at the start of the season could immediately become a player who continues to score lots of goals in every match. Now this performance seems to be lost. And even Haaland has now been shifted from the top scorer in first place. because the record for top scorer has now been taken over by M. Salah. Even though previously Haaland was very superior. I no longer understand what really happened to Man City. Why can they be this bad. And if they don't manage to win this match then everyone's disappointment will really peak this time.
Haaland is not a big game player and it's now obvious. I know that the club as a whole is going through difficult times but it's as if his inability to convert opportunities if it isn't prepared for him was made evident today and in other games. He lost three chances apart from the penalty and I feel it's high time Guardiola stops starting him in games because he's hardly useful.

The thing here this isnt a big game, this is a game that they before would have won with just 20% but now they cannot win at home against Everton is just insane. Haalands bad form continues and i think its time he moves to the bench to cool him down. They need to try something else and not play through him

Man City are beyond repair with this 1-1 I'm seeing at halftime it seems something bad might happen to City at the Etihad in this game. I still don't know how teams are no longer scared of playing Man City. Everton are playing with so much confidence even when Man City scored they stayed calm and continue pressing to get at least a shot on target that may result to a goal and they got it before the end of the first half. Nice one for Everton, if they continue this way I feel it will be a problem for Manchester City.

The early goal got me surprise, like are these guys really back in form? Things we saw today shows that the Citizens are not getting any point in their next match against Leicester because the game against Everton was suppose to be a game to get the required 3pt to boost their morela but they played like one of those promoted teams from league 1 or the championship. I wonder how they'll manage in the champions league by next year. When are they going to make use of their opportunities to win games?
Everton are in their best form and I'd like to see them finish either 10th or 8th, the manager Sean Dyche has really done something big for the club, getting a draw in the Etihad that's suppose to be a fortress is a big win for a club like Everton and Leicester can as well learn from Everton when next they meet City.

Bad result continues for City, they could not even beat Everton and even Haaland failed to score a goal from a penalty which actually should be a key for a winning if he took the penalty well to make the score 2-1 and maybe will change the match.
I'm speechless to be honest to see what is happening to Man City since the end of October (beated by Spurs), since that time they got only 1 wins and 3 draws (including today's match) and the others were lost.
They dont have signficant issue with the squad, at least most of their main players are not injured, are they losing the chemistry between players as well as between players and coach?

There is an exciting game between Manchester City and Everton and both teams are attacking strongly in this match. It is still difficult to predict which team will win at the end of the game because both teams are attacking a lot and the game is tied at 1-1 at the moment. If Manchester City attacks strongly in today's match, then if they can score a goal at the last minute, they will win, and if they are not successful, then the game is likely to be a draw. Although the number of attacks at the moment is much higher for Manchester City, so they still have enough chances to win, but Manchester City must attack successfully. If Manchester City cannot win in today's match, then the team will definitely face the most criticism.
Today again Manchester City has suffered a lot in the hand of the Everton, when the match started so many people’s was having hope for them, due to the way they started with strong performances but with much efforts and sufficient attacks of the Everton; there able to equalize back before the end of the first half which was great performing from the Everton.

Everton are keeping records this season by given strong teams tough attacking, almost all of their previous matches is against strong teams and they try to hold them by lead the match to draw; If we can remember there late match against Arsenal and Chelsea: they’ve hold those two teams tightly that’s exactly what did to Manchester City in their today match.

Everton are not too much of a weak side although not to be compared to Manchester city, Everton have lost only one game in their Last five matches, that tells you they've not been doing too bad after all. Manchester City on the other hand are still trying to find their footing, I've said it before that Pep guardiola has not been able to properly identify the key factors that is affecting the Manchester City team outside the absence of Rodri in that midfield, because looking at the way they play even if Rodri comes back, I'm not expecting much changes. It was game i already foresaw to be a draw because Pep Guardiola hasn't come up with a different tactics yet.

That penalty miss by Erling Haaland was really a disaster, I think maybe Haaland didn't know he was up against an A-list goalkeeper like Jordan Pickford which he needed to be a bit more careful about.

after rumor has it that players were denied freedom of celebrating the Christmas with family and friends just because they want to win this game by all means, seeing this result that is far from what a lot of persons expected is a very bad one for the entire Manchester city team and fans. after seeing how resilient this Everton team played against Chelsea and how they where able to prevent the blues from scoring a single goal against them, i knew it will take a lot of discipline and attack from man city if they hope to defeat this team but unfortunately, it didn't work out that way and both teams have to settle for a draw at the end of a fierce game. time is no longer on the side of Manchester city and by the time the rest of the teams complete their 18th games, they might even find themselves going further down the table below the current 6th position they are occupying.
