Looking at what Chelsea and Manchester United have been showing, not just this season or last season, we have the feeling that they are still "missing something." But no one can answer what that something is. These two clubs, is there a need for more money? The answer is no. So why do they still fail? This is still a problem for the management of these two clubs. We can see that on a great day, Chelsea and Manchester United can defeat the big guys. But they gradually lost that to less famous names.

They have tradition, money, and stars and are not impatient, so why are you still struggling now? Why might teams with more limited resources be more successful? Take Brighton, Newcastle, and Tottenham as examples. So why do Chelsea and Manchester United still fail? What do they lack? As long as this question cannot be answered, the two clubs remain unstable.

In just one night both teams had to hand over the baton of the championship to Manchester City after weeks of their defense, the mentality of Liverpool and Arsenal experienced a drop when they were required to keep winning and even both had to lose points from the team they should have won except Arsenal which may indeed be a little difficult, currently Manchester City has managed to lead the standings, even with only two left the team with a small point difference but will still be difficult for both to overtake Manchester City who will only face the rest of the easy game now.

So far many of us are convinced Arsenal will win because of their consistent performance in the league but we forget that so far their mentality is often tested when the season is about to end and the fact this season is no different from last season where Arsenal began to lose their way towards the end of the season, Aston Villa appeared quite surprising in the match after they received negative results from Brentford and Manchester City,  I think Aston Villa's game against Arsenal is typical of an Impressive game because Aston Villa are able to maintain the balance of the team both in attack and defense, I think it is worthy for Aston Villa to be in the top 4 at this time after a pretty Impressive season for them.

Currently, Manchester United's situation is very dire, as they have not been able to make it to the top of the points table so far. So Erik ten Hag is not responsible at all as a coach this season, and it is very bad for the team in the situation he is currently running. So there is no question of keeping him as Manchester United coach for next season, there will definitely be a change. If Manchester United still have enough time in the Premier League title race, if they can get good players in their team and win matches, then they can still reach the top. However, Manchester United currently have an experienced goalkeeper and a good man to sign in their squad so that the team is experienced enough to move forward. Only then will they be able to occupy a good position in the season, and they must plan this if they want to avoid this humiliation.

In just one week, Manchester City became the favorite team after their two rivals lost in such a surprising way.
I think the impact of Arsenal and Liverpool's defeat will be quite big, not only because they are points behind in the standings but also have an impact on the internal team which makes the Arsenal and Liverpool teams increasingly under pressure which makes it difficult for them to be able to produce their best performance.
In times of pressure and pressure, mentality is needed and we can see that among the three teams currently competing for the Premier League title this season, Manchester City's mentality is much better than Arsenal and Liverpool.

Aston Villa's victory increases their chances of finishing in the top 4, this is quite an important victory for them and makes the competition for 4th place with Tottenham even more fierce.

I wasn't surprised that Chelsea defeated Everton with so many goals in their last game. The most surprising thing was that Chelsea did not concede a single goal, it is difficult for Chelsea to finish a game without their opponents scoring. So it's strange to me that Chelsea performed so well against Everton, with Palmer scoring four goals. Chelsea has tough games against Arsenal, Aston Villa, and Tottenham. I don't think Chelsea will have an easy game because we know how competitive these clubs are for the Champions League spot. Let's see whether Chelsea can win them, since Everton is a weak team that any club can beat.


Chelsea has no chance of finishing in the top five, despite the fact that they destroyed Everton with 6 goals, this does not mean they are in good form. Remember they draw their last two games against Sheffield United, a team who cannot escape the relegation zone. It is possible for Chelsea to overtake Manchester United, however, I believe that both clubs will not qualify for the Europa League next season because Tottenham and Aston Villa will maintain in their current positions.

The problem for Chelsea I don't think is that simple because looking from a financial point of view they are not lacking in that it's just that the selection of players and the appointment of coaches sometimes it just becomes a futile act because of the lack of understanding between the philosophy of the club that wants to be built and the players who do not match the chemistry.
2 Todd's season tried to make history with the overhaul they kept doing but in the end it had no impact whatsoever due to the lack of understanding of the scouts who brought the players.
So for next season looking for players again I don't think it can have any impact if the scheme Chelsea is doing remains the same.

Whereas if they want to be serious about overhauling the club I think it would be better for Chelsea to overhaul the whole of management first before the players because during these 2 seasons the players they brought in were not bad from individual skills in the previous club but Chelsea could not maximize it properly so that even good talent will be useless if the club management does not run properly.

It is true that it is not easy for a coach to develop the performance of his players in a short time. Every coach definitely needs time to adapt to the club in building overall performance, currently Pochettino is trying to provide a better performance than the previous coach and hopefully Pochettino can passed it so that Chelsea was not among the mediocre clubs. Under the guidance of the previous Chelsea owner Chelsea was the best and strongest club in the Premier League and was able to win many league trophies but after changing ownership Chelsea immediately changed drastically and experienced a significant decline in the last 2 seasons since Chelsea bought by new owner.

In my opinion, even during Todd Boehly's era, Chelsea was not financially constrained, in fact he spent a lot of money to recruit new players and even spent almost 1 billion pounds to bring in many of the players that Chelsea needed. But unfortunately Chelsea began to find its weak points, either because of the coach's mistakes or because of mistakes in recruiting. The new players actually don't have good performance in competing in the Premier League because many Chelsea players are young and there are only a few senior players, even though the young players have good stamina, motivation from the old players is also really needed to increase the players' insight into the game mastering the experience as a Chelsea player.

The way things are going with Manchester united in this season, I don't think they will allow Erik Ten Hag to continue to coach Manchester united next season, because some of the players and goalkeeper he signed into Manchester united during the summer no signs of improvement yet, because it has be long Manchester united win this premier league title which they need to bring in some players that will make it happen next season. I know that Manchester united president will not take this poor performance from Erik Ten Hag, if the situation continues like this till the end of the tournament because there was a huge amount of money budgeted to sign in potential players but the results people are seeing right now is not a good results, and it will not make Manchester united to reach top fourth in this season. I'm not a fans of Manchester united, but for Manchester united to start getting it right, they should sign in a talented goalkeeper and strikers who can save Manchester united from all those disgrace in some matches.

That was indeed interesting to say the least. Knowing what is on the line, I think it was quite shocking to see these two teams lose their games in their own stadium. I thought that if they get into some trouble in any of the remaining games, it is most likely away from home. The matchday couldn't have gone any better for Manchester City as they were also able to improve their goal difference by a lot, which essentially gives them +1 point in the end if they finish the season with the best goal difference. Arsenal is still a bit better, but I wouldn't be surprised to see them crashing like they did last season.

The win for Aston Villa was huge of course as Tottenham was hoping for Villa to lose that game big time while they have a game in hand and are 3 points behind the qualification for the Champions League. Lots of plans were crossed here.

Yes, there are only 6 games left in the season. Maybe if you look at the remaining matches, it looks like Manchester City will win all the matches without much difficulty. The reason is that in these 6 matches the team that Manchester City will face is arguably not very strong, and that team

• Brighton
• Nottingham Forest
• Wolves
• Fulham
• Tottenham
• Westham

So if you look at the quality of the players, it is clear that Manchester City is superior rather than these 6 teams. Therefore, if for example Manchester City is able to win these 6 matches, then it is clear that Manchester City will become Premier League champions again this season. And in my opinion, Manchester City will most likely be able to beat these 6 teams. So, Liverpool or Arsenal will definitely have difficulty and have little chance of displacing Manchester City from the top position.

And maybe now Liverpool and Arsenal just need to hope that a miracle will come. The reason is, the only key for Arsenal or Liverpool to be able to overtake Manchester City again is on condition that Manchester City must lose once in the next match. So that way the opportunity will be wide open again for Arsenal and Liverpool to fight for the top position.

Interestingly, both Arsenal and Liverpool have lost their home matches. And no one expected the result that these two teams would lose at home.

Arsenal conceded a 2-0 defeat against Aston Villa. Arsenal players could not score a single goal despite their best efforts. On the other hand, Liverpool lost against a weak team like Crystal Palace. I can't remember the last time I saw a win from Crystal Palace team before.

Manchester City have managed to occupy the top spot in the table after a long time. Now if they can maintain the winning streak, the title win is sure for City. However, it will be very difficult to win the next 6 matches.

For any opposition go against Manchester city the worst thing to do is allow them to be on top of the league because once they get that they don’t lose again till the season ends, i have seen Manchester city doing a straight 15 match wins before to get the league. Currently people see the Tottenham game as an obstacle for Manchester city but I don’t see the game as that, rather it’s those clubs fighting off relegation or other European places that are tricky. The game against Wolves is more tricky than Tottenham’s game as Wolves have always been a bon of contention for Manchester City to defeat.

And as you have said a draw wouldn’t get Manchester city at the top of the league as this will definitely draw dem level on points with Arsenal and Arsenal has a superior goal difference than the other three. Should they be level on points arsenal will go top. So the best thing is to win all matches

Yeah it is difficult to explain what happened in the Premier League this week, we were very surprised to see Liverpool and Arsenal being defeated, even though the two teams were in the race this means that their efforts in a year will be in vain with one defeat before the end of this season lol, I know this is not over, but from here we can see that they will be in vain if Manchester City can play consistently in the next 6 matches. Of the 6 matches left, Manchester City only has one tough match while playing away against Tottenham and Manchester City only needs a draw in this match.

I remember in the last season when there was not a good station in Manchester United, Erik Ten Hag joined the team and the fans of this team were happy because they thought Erik Ten Hag was a coach who was known for his hard training and he is a coach who train the players hardly which could be good for Manchester United.
But This made many players in Macnshter United unhappy and Erik Ten Hag proved that he is a coach who will never change his mind and we saw that in this season about Sancho which damaged the team.

In Manchester United trying times and difficulties in winning matches, Bruno Fernandes always stands out amongst all of his other teammates. He plays a better football than them and always have a way of making the team do better even in their worst state. As the captain of the team, he has exhibited great qualities to reckon on at anytime.

Eric Ten Hag is not someone all Manchester United fans should expect to change the club in a short while. He is actually trying but he needs to improve. A lot have been expected from him and he should do the required to keep his job for a longer time with the club.

Everton might be an average team but, they don’t often make an easy to beat team. Chelsea might have got the best of them yesterday but, that’s as far as it gets and I don’t think it makes Chelsea probable enough to match Manchester City’s quality. Let’s not soon forget how inconsistent Chelsea have been, winning a game and they going about to loss or draw several others. Also, playing the FA cup presents a different kind of challenge which I don’t think Chelsea is well equipped for except, they would be hoping on fatigue to get the better of Manchester.
I hope to see Chelsea being more attacking in that fixture else, Manchester City would run them down the hill.

Erik Ten Hag have messed up the entire team simply because he failed to acknowledge the essential players that will deliver the work for the progress of the team. Checking the current look of things, the Red Devils will not reach peak based on their inconsistency in winning games. Manchester United are not in good shape this season, they're relenting when it comes to mediocre opponents in EPL games. For Bruno Fernandes, he's the most respected player and have received accolades for his outstanding qualities.

Actually, if you look at the whole season (only this season) I still think that Bruno's performance is still very good and it is even quite feasible that he is given freedom by the coach in the Manchester United midfield, it's just that the trust and control he has makes his ego a little bigger than the other players, which actually spoils the performance that Bruno has actually shown in his game.

If in the end he can change a little and lower his ego then he is still very feasible and it is very natural that he is given more freedom in midfield because his performance is still above average.

But the problem is that Bruno has the same type as Ten Hag where he sometimes becomes an authoritarian person and is more concerned with ego than the interests of the club which actually makes the situation more difficult for himself.

Speaking of coaches for now, it is certain that problems will continue to exist, it seems for Manchester United and Chelsea, although the differences actually feel different in broad terms because for Poche he actually still needs more adaptation even though he cannot compete in the top 4 standings let alone for the championship but he is still able to lift Chelsea's performance if given the opportunity at least one more season but not for Ten Hag, because in my opinion with his current leadership style the situation will remain the same as before where in the end the dispute between players and coaches continues to occur.

Changing managers is an option, but building a squad with better depth is a must. Ten Hag gave too much control to Bruno Fernandes in all the matches he played, but the results were not at all commensurate with what was expected. Bruno Fernandes sometimes plays well, but I think he is also always selfish and forces himself to score goals instead of providing assists to his teammates.

Chelsea and Manchester United must build a higher quality squad next season. Chelsea are definitely the worst and they have to make a lot of changes, but Manchester United is almost the same. There are many players who do not have a good impact on the game, but they have to be played because the coach has no other options on the bench. So next season I guess they will bring in some new ones instead of firing the coach.

Too early for that comparison between Cole Palmer and Frank Lampard, why not let the young lad continue in his best form until the end of the season. There should be no room for unnecessary comparison just like this one. He is not the only productive player for Chelsea as you're yet to unlock that from others because you lack a productive manager.

Chelsea has always been better this season when facing Manchester City, as City has found it just too difficult to maintain good ball possession against Chelsea.
I will be so pleased to see the final in the Fa Cup Competition be against Manchester United and against Chelsea. Indeed era's definitely coming to an end from my own point of view.
At least the blues and Manchester United had one or two more things to fight for if they can try to finish inna way to qualify for the Champions League Competition.
