Yesterday Manchester City beat Luton and took the lead. The excitement in the Premier League will continue with today's matches between Liverpool vs Crystal Palace and Arsenal vs Aston Villa. Liverpool drew with Manchester United last week. I think it is normal for them to lose points in this kind of matches. This result should be acceptable for them. But they definitely need to win today's game. On the other hand, Crystal Palace have not won in their last 5 matches. They are just above the relegation zone. But they are close to the danger zone. I don't think they can give Liverpool a hard time in this match. Liverpool will win today.
Liverpool and Arsenal disappointed again and as usual Guardiola’s Manchester City take charge of the league once again and I don’t think they will be dropping points like others anytime soon. Manchester City totally destroyed Luton town just as a title challenging team is supposed to be, a title challenging team should be ruthless and clinical and this is what Manchester City showed against Luton now they are 2 points ahead.

Liverpool disappointed me the most for losing to Crystal Palace at Anfield, they are making is easy for Manchester City. I don’t know what happened to Liverpool in the past weeks but they seem to have lost their spirit and Draw against Manchester United started it all for them then they went on to lose to Atlanta in the Europa League and now they lose to bottom table Crystal Palace. I know teams battling relegation are difficult to face at this ending stage but i expected better from Liverpool that claim they are the favorites to win both the Premier League and the Europa League.

Arsenal had a more strong team to face this week but there is no excuse to start losing after going so far and winning tougher teams in the past. I think Arsenal fans deserve better because their hopes are always raised high making them believe they will win the title soon enough but in the end the team fails to achieve anything leaving the fans disappointed. Arsenal didn’t play well against Aston Villa in my opinion especially in the second half they couldn’t create chances they were only keeping possession at the back and so Villa who are good at counters showed them how it’s done, the most disappointing part is that Arsenal lost at the Emirates Stadium when they needed the points the most.

Arsenal will not be able to win the title this season from what I watched, I don't know if the fault started from the changes but I don't think Arsenal can win anymore with such performance if only they continue like this. Liverpool also lost at Anfield surprising, I never expected the poor performance from both teams but the amazing part is how did Crystal Palace manage to defeat Liverpool, what will happen next or it's likely we might see Manchester city winning the title this season again.
I agree with this because actually Arsenal is beginning to look like they don't ha e the form to be able to maintain their position till the end of the season except if Manchester city loose and give them the opportunity to come and stay ahead of them on the league table again which is almost not possible.

Arsenal lost to Aston Villa right at the Emirates Stadium, this loss significantly reduced Arsenal's championship chances. Not only that, it will also affect the psychology of Arsenal players. They continued to make the same mistakes as last season. They could not learn valuable lessons. Man City will be crowned champions again if they win the last six matches. In theory, Arsenal's chances are not over yet.

But Arsenal's ability to win the Premier League for the first time since 2004, to me, the championship is already far away. The chance to win the championship is over. Certainly so. Because coach Pep Guardiola and his team have enough strength to win the remaining matches.

Liverpool's match was defeated by Crystal Palace, of course it was very surprising and in fact it was difficult to believe that Liverpool lose to Crystal Palace.

Even though M. Salah played, strangely he wasn't able to score even one goal and I'm sure many Liverpool fans be disappointed, and Arsenal fans also be disappointed.

Yes, Manchester City is certainly lucky at the moment and it seems like there is potential that Arsenal will fail to win a trophy this season like last season and if for example Arsenal fail again, it would be a shame, but there is still hope for Arsenal and Liverpool to beat Manchester City, but it looks like it will be difficult for Manchester city to drop in ranking.

I feel pain for arsenal and Liverpool fan because these team and one of the best yet they stand to disprove their reputation by the performance they put in during the end of the season. Currently, it's obvious Manchester City would loss any match and they have taken the EPL title ones again, it would have been better if Liverpool or arsenal took that title this season to prove that the premier league is a very competitive league. My greatest surprise is that, Manchester City are not in their best form, unlike the previous season where they just a few loses and kept a good form with more goals. I thought the reason Liverpool loss to atalanta at their champions league competition was because they did not start Salah on time but, from what happened in the EPL yesterday, it's obvious their form has reduced.

Previously, Arteta was Pep assistant coach at Manchester City and in 2019 that job ended which made Arteta looked at by Arsenal as head coach and it can be seen that in the few seasons Arteta has been Arsenal coach, has he won the League title?
I don't know what you are using to be able to say all this but what is clear is that as long as Arteta was coach there was only one chance to win the title and that happened last season, Arsenal failed to win the title because Manchester City managed to surpass them and in the end Arsenal were runner-up.
And I want to ask when Arsenal managed to win the League title as you have said, we discussed winning the Premier League title and as long as I followed the development of the Premier League, I never saw Arsenal becoming champions under Arteta.
In fact, for the last 9 seasons Arsenal have not been able to win the Premier League title but they have been runners-up twice, and this season they have the opportunity to win the title but it is not guaranteed.
In addition this discussions about Arsenal achievements under coach Arteta, so if it is related to the past there is no need to talk about it, but I agree that in the future perhaps Arteta can make Arsenal perform optimally with the young players he has.
Are we now judging Arsenal because they weren’t able to win the league last season. Well we know the team is just and still young and they’re building up and you can say same for the coach. Yes the coach has been under the tutelage of Pep and i think that’s not enough reason for you to judge them with their performance last season.

With Arteta they’ve had some major achievements like winning the FA Cup and this is one that the players look and take as a boost. This season they’re a very quality team as you can see them in top contest with City and Liverpool for the league and you can also see how much goals the team has been able to score and add to their tally this season.

The team is young and they’re quite organized and have all opportunities to go for both Epl and Ucl titles. The team just needs to remain organized and winning titles will sure be a normal thing and seen as a usual for the team. The future is bright for this team and you can say they’ve been able to build a very good project with this young squad they’re having at the moment. Arteta has very confidence in his team and I know the board has same confidence in him also and he’ll sure win titles with these boys.

Surely anyone will be shocked to hear the news of Liverpool's defeat by a team ranked far below Liverpool and will certainly also be shocked to see Arsenal defeated by Aston Villa because they remember Arsenal's strength, which is in good form. but actually Arsenal was defeated by Aston Villa, of course for me it was not too surprising because Aston Villa was not ranked far, namely in 4th place, but Liverpool's match was defeated by Crystal Palace, of course it was very surprising and in fact it was difficult to believe that Liverpool lose to Crystal Palace.

One thing I observe with this Liverpool is effect of Klopp departure. I maybe wrong but Klopp shouldn't have announced his departure in the middle of the season. It was a very bad move from his side because the doesn't seem to be focused again. There's a disconnection between these players and the couch. In their minds now, everyone is making their own plan after his departure. It's very obvious now the tittle is lost, it is sad to see things falling apart at the wrong time. Klopp himself is fresh out of ideas because even his line ups have not been great. It's incredible to see back to back defeat in Anfield.

We thought Liverpool has the easiest matches from the remaining games among the the three contending teams but from the look of things they may drop more points in their remaining matches since it is not possible to win against Crystal palace at Anfield. This is just a trailer of what will happen next season after Klopp departure. It's unfortunate Klopp threw everything he built away at this crucial time.

Maybe I was too busy celebrating Eid so I just found out that Arsenal and Liverpool lost. Both lost at home. Even Liverpool had to lose to a lower ranked team. Of course this situation is very favorable for Man City, they can pass two teams at once to become number 1 in the meantime. This is quite interesting because we understand small mistakes at the end of this season are very detrimental. Is it possible that Asenal will fail again like last season after a long time at the top? I think it's very likely. Grin

I have often said that in the end Manchester City will still lead the Premier League at the end of this season even though Arsenal and Liverpool continue to have ambitions to get first place but Pep Guardiola will relax and wait for the two clubs to make mistakes and in the end it happens when the clubs are ranked first and second. suffered a very embarrassing defeat.
The player's mentality may also have a little influence here or the coach's strategy will certainly have an influence because like Pep Guardiola who is very relaxed in pursuing the PL title while Liverpool and Arsenal seem to be in a hurry to continue chasing higher points but ultimately fail to win against weak clubs.

Manchester City is currently leading in the PL and in my opinion this club only needs 3 or 4 wins consistently to lock in the title this season and in my opinion Arsenal will still fail to win the title this season because the pressure of the Champions League has a negative impact on the performance of the players and also Liverpool have a match schedule at UEL which can put pressure on the PL match so that defeat occurred in yesterday's match.

English Premier League is definitely the best and most exciting league in the world. Not only having many teams dominating the league at the same time but the close gap between them makes things crazier!
Manchester City weren't expected to end this round the first. Gunners were facing at home Astana Villa. Even though Aston Villa is a good team, yet losing by two goals to nothing at home was a bad thing for Arteta and his players.
Liverpool in the other hand were playing home too but against Crystal Palace which is a mild team.
EPL will continue to be intense until the end of the season Wink
This week has been a big advantage for Manchester City after Arsenal and Liverpool suffered quite surprising defeats, just because 1 match made the difference in the Premier League standings.
The Premier League always presents fierce competition in the race for the title, that is also what is happening this season and now Manchester City is at the top of the standings and they are the favorite.

Arsenal and Liverpool's defeat at home this week was quite surprising in my opinion, these two teams don't seem to have a strong mentality to compete for the title.

Round 33 of the Premier League was wildly volatile, with many surprises. Arsenal lost 0-2 to Aston Villa, and Liverpool also disappointed when losing 0-1 to Crystal Palace. Man City defeated Luton 5-1, being the only team in the championship race to maintain their form. Man City has a big advantage in the Premier League championship race. Arsenal and Liverpool no longer have the right to decide for themselves the throne.

Man City is only 6 games away from winning the Premier League title and 11 games away from a remarkable treble. At the beginning of the season, when Man City looked tired after the treble, who would have thought that they would aim for the next treble? With 6 rounds remaining, anything can happen. Hope is not lost for Jurgen Klopp and Mikel Arteta. But there is a familiar feeling that invades everything. If Man City is on top, don't expect them to give up. Fear is the real feeling of Arsenal and Liverpool people right now.

This seems to open up a golden opportunity for Pep Guardiola to bring his club to become Premier League champions again because his strong rivals lost the opportunity to overtake Manchester City again but both clubs failed to get it and what is even more surprising is that both clubs lost at home when they should have been able to win, even though the opponent is not an easy opponent for them but in front of their supporters they should not make mistakes and try to continue to win in the remainder of this season. Who would have thought that Arsenal and Liverpool would both experience the same defeat. I thinking one of them like Liverpool is capable win easily if you see that your opponent is a club in the middle of the table.

This is very bad news for the two coaches and both clubs because they are fighting for the title. If Manchester City is already at the top of the standings, I don't think it will give other clubs a chance to overtake them. Manchester City is of course very happy with the results of the defeat of its two strong competitors. Thanks to that, Manchester City is at the top of the standings and it looks like they will try not to make mistakes that will cause them to be displaced. Pep Guardiola will make the best use of his time.

It is even more complicated looking at the current standings, Liverpool and Arsenal are in fact unable to maintain their strength in winning the Premier League title, Man City seems to be the one who will emerge as champions. This season, even though it is not over yet, this can already be seen from the game shown by Man City  in the domestic league and the Champions League, it seems that there is no ability for Arsenal and Liverpool to compete even though both of them suffered defeats, that doesn't mean they don't have a chance. The journey is still quite long so there is still a chance to prove to their fans that everything will go well to win.  champion title this season.
It's a shame that Liverpool and Arsenal's defeat last night means City is at the top of the current standings with a difference of two points from Arsenal and Liverpool. This is very difficult for Arsenal and Liverpool to catch up with Man City who are very consistent in the league. Losing points last night can be avoided. said Liverpool and Arsenal had lost their mentality in fighting for the league championship.

There is no doubt that Pep Guardiola's coaching is very dominant in the English league, they are very consistent in fighting for the title, but there is nothing impossible for Arsenal and Liverpool to catch up with Man City, especially with only a difference of two points.
My prediction for this season is that Man City will extend their title in the English league.

Today is just a day of miracles... Grin First, Liverpool lost to an underdog... Then Arsenal also lost at home to Villa... By the way, in all three matches the guests won... Of course it's all a strange coincidence and now Man City are top of the standings... Grin I think they will be there until the end of the season...

After only one match day, big changes in Premier League occur. Manchester City have biggest disadvantage in three title competitors, Arsenal, Liverpool and Manchester City but things changed entirely after only one weekend.

After three matches of three competitors, now Manchester City are at the first position and they have 2 points more than both Arsenal and Liverpool. It is not big gap against two competitors but with habit of Manchester City in last six seasons, they usually speed up their performances at final weeks of season. This will be big challenge and maybe hopeless for Arsenal and Liverpool if Manchester City repeat this playing habit in this season.

Only 6 more matches for each team in this competition and Manchester City have full control of the race. Win rest six matches, the Premier League title will belong to them, a six title in last 7 seasons.

I was even more surprised when I saw Liverpool do the same lol, now Manchester City can be more comfortable because they are leading at the top of the standings with a difference of 2 points and Manchester City only need to secure 6 more matches to ensure that the title is in their hands. The Premier League is truly full of surprises.

After losing against Atalanta in the European league in the 1st leg, now in the EPL Liverpool have swallowed the bitter pill again and honestly I didn't expect that Liverpool would be defeated by Crystal Palace with a score of 0-1 and as the host they were really embarrassed by Crystal Palace. Honestly, I didn't think I would lose the bet because I thought Liverpool would win and it's a shame that Liverpool players weren't able to take advantage of opportunities in front of the Crystal Palace goal. I think Klopp must be able to repair all of that so that in the next match Liverpool can perform well and win the match.

Of course, Liverpool's defeat made Manchester City happy. But of course there is still hope for Liverpool and the competition will definitely continue until the end of the season.
Yes, sometimes we cannot predict the results of matches.

and I also didn't expect Arsenal to be defeated by Aston Villa. Of course Manchester City is really lucky.

The explanation is probably in the depth of their squad. The number of games in both domestic and European league competitions will tire them out and the result usually shows towards the end. It could be the same as last season for Arsenal when they were looking like a run away leader but couldn't finish the race strong. I think Liverpool has a better team than Arsenal but it's City that has the best overall.
It was in the Liverpool's game against Crystal Palace today was where the shocking result started which I thought Mikel Arteta will capitalize on it to go top the league by winning their own game but surprisingly, their match against Aston Villa produced more shocking result. The title race I don't think will be as strong as it was when either of Liverpool or Arsenal were leading the table and that's because, Pep Guardiola's Manchester City would definitely want to dominate till the title is won.

This match was very strange, many had bet all in to support Liverpool and Arsenal but in the end they had to swallow their disappointment and the gamblers lost a lot of money, only those who placed a full bet on Crystal Palace and Aston Villa managed to get a lot of luck . With this defeat, the two big clubs have missed the opportunity to be at the top of the standings and in the end Manchester City still won and managed to secure their position at the top of the standings.

Unbelievable. Arsenal lost to Aston Villa twice in a season. I am sure it is the fault of the coach. Every single minute of the game i watched it clearly. The errors started from the formation. Where he had to bench Martinelli and started Trossard in the first half. When he is fully aware that Trossard is a game changer and not a starter. Secondly, he kept Jorginho on the bench and played Havertz as midfielder in the first half. This is so crazy you know! It's obvious that Arteta is not ready to win the league, all the Arsenal fans are extremely disappointed with Arteta. Because this was the only opportunity to top the league and win it. Now that Manchester City is at the top there is no going down for them. The league is for them now.
Arteta doesn't learn from mistakes and Arteta continues to make them. It's hard to believe, even though this is the time for Arsenal to top the standings, they were unable to take advantage of this opportunity properly. It could be said that in this match Arsenal were defeated by their former coach and former players, Emery and Martinez. From yesterday's and today's matches, Cristal Palace and Aston Villa immediately paved the way for Man City to lift the trophy, so Man City should be grateful to them.

Absolutely, as you say. The fight for the EPL trophy seems to be over. Just give the trophy directly to Manchester City. Because, if Man City is at the top, it is difficult to go down. In addition, the remaining matches are also more profitable for Man City because they have easy opponents. Arsenal still has to face Chelsea, Tottenham and Man United. Liverpool played three away games in a row.
Arteta and Arsenal experienced the same incident as the previous season, they were a little closer to winning the league but in the end they became runners up, surely most Arsenal fans feel very disappointed, being disappointed twice is a very bad thing in my opinion, if Arteta used the same strategy and composition of players surely this would not happen to Arsenal, I also don't understand why he included Martinelli and Havertz in the first half, but maybe my positive thought is that he wants to try to save energy and in the second half he can stabilize his players, but the results are bad and not according to the original plan, yes I think Arsenal were humiliated twice at home, this is tough but ridiculous.

Guardiola and Manchester United benefited greatly this week, Crystal Palace and Aston Villa wins saw him fly to the top again, I think Guardiola needs to say thank you by giving a warm greeting to both teams, and yes, Manchester City if already at the top it is difficult to go down, unless they lose KDB like before which makes their strategy ineffective and messy when there is no KDB in their starting lineup on the field, we will hand the English Premier League trophy back to Mr. Guardiola this season.

Racing between Guardiola and Arteta is very interesting for me. Before Arteta joined Arsenal and worked there as a coach he was working with Guardiola in Mnacshter City and they were friends there.
Arteta learned a lot from Guardiola and a big part of his knowledge came from Guardiola. Two friendly they had amazing days in Manchester City.
Now since Arteta is working at Arsenal he is guiding the team to keep racing with Manchester City, In the last season he lost it because of the more experienced of Guardiola. I'm waiting to see the end of this race while Arteta is more experienced than last season.
