In the end, Man City is now more promising after several matches where there were doubts about retaining the trophy. However, if you look at the results after Arsenal and Liverpool failed to get 3 points, it is certainly very surprising. For some reason at the most important moment to maintain the ideal points distance, Liverpool and Arsenal had to lose to a team whose playing condition was unstable. Liverpool were defeated by Crystal Palace and Arsenal were defeated by Aston Villa. Come on, this is really off target because now the 3 teams have played 32 matches and the difference is slim but Man City clearly has the advantage because Liverpool and Arsenal failed to get 3 points.

Seeing surprises sometimes happen in the league is part of the game, and that made Premier League become the most interesting league in the world to watch because it's the most difficult to predict, and furthermore, I doubt if anyone thought today Liverpool and Arsenal would lose at home soil, and it really such a sad for their fans and supporters of both clubs who are hoping to see their teams continue to do well towards this end of the season.

Unbelievable. Arsenal lost to Aston Villa twice in a season. I am sure it is the fault of the coach. Every single minute of the game i watched it clearly. The errors started from the formation. Where he had to bench Martinelli and started Trossard in the first half. When he is fully aware that Trossard is a game changer and not a starter. Secondly, he kept Jorginho on the bench and played Havertz as midfielder in the first half. This is so crazy you know! Now that Manchester City is at the top there is no going down for them. The league is for them now.

That's the problem with Arsenal, they can never be trusted and I asked on one of my post if Arsenal can make it this season and it just showed how bad they are in keeping that number 1 position and was having this feeling that the Gunners might slip along the way.
With Liverpool and Arsenal on the losing side it gives Manchester City a very big opportunity of staying at the top and believe me that City won't leave that spot, even if they're leaving that position it would be very hard for Man City to lose that number 1 spot, at this point we just have to say that Arsenal are gradually losing that race to be the champions.

It's a very unexpected thing. After Liverpool lost 0-1 to Crystal Palace, now surprisingly it was Arsenal's turn to suffer a 0-2 defeat against Aston Villa, even though this was Arsenal's home match. At first, the match looked like it was going to be a draw, but somehow in the final minutes Arsenal lost their composure and they were caught off guard, and that's when Aston Villa didn't waste the golden opportunity they got. Not just 1 goal, but 2 goals scored just 3 minutes apart.

Liverpool and Arsenal was a shocking match, you would never expect these two teams to lose at home. Shame.

Manchester City are now sitting comfortably the two points difference is quite valuable especially with the remaining matches at the end of the season not so heavy their focus could be on the UCL and not to forget the Premier League too but for me it's not like it's heavy.

A very terrible defeat to Arsenal again this evening against a Aston Villa at Emirates stadium after all the hard d work and the struggle, I think it’s the right time for Arsenal to focus on Champions League since the only chance we have to top the Premier League is gone.

Unless if Manchester City drop point again which will be very difficult this time because their oppositions are not that tough; Manchester City again will win the league ahead of Arsenal and Liverpool.

It’s not yet over because anything can happen, I as an Arsenal fan still have hope that Man City will drop points just as we did.

Is very sad to see that Liverpool has lost the good opportunity they had on wining the premier League, however this match reminds me on Arsenal performance last season when they played very well from the beginning of the season toward the end of the season and they mest up which cost them their chances of wining the league, so that's actually what happened to Liverpool on this time of the season because with their consistency this season nobody would have believed they will draw this match let alone losing the match to Crystal palace is really bad for Liverpool. However Arsenal on the other hand is currently losing 2-0 to Aston Villa, actually I don't know what is wrong with Liverpool and Arsenal today because it was as if they fixed their losing today, however they have made everything very easy for Manchester City because they will be leading the premier League table with 2 points above Liverpool and Arsenal.

Arsenal are really unlucky. Forced to lose 0-2 while trying to win the title. And now the match is over with the score unchanged 0-2.

Manchester United fans personally want Arsenal to win against Aston Vila because there are two targets. If Arsenal wins, Liverpool has no chance of winning. Second, they don't want Manchester City to win the PL consecutively.
On the other hand, it is fitting that Arsenal won the PL after not winning it for quite a long time.

What a shock to Arsenal as Aston Villa was able to score two goals within three minutes to put Arsenal on a very difficult spot on the league. I don't see any victory for Arsenal, it will be better for them if they can manage to draw the match, but it is now impossible because the match is already in the extra minutes.

This is the first time since November that Manchester city have top the league to be on the first position on the table. It is quite unbelievable to see that all two clubs on the top 3 positions lost today, and only Manchester city was able to win their match yesterday giving them a better advantage of winning the league.

Liverpool has used everything they had to win the game in order to secure its place for the title race, but Palace's defensive line was too strong and Liverpool was unable to break through it. It makes liverpool so frustrated with the result against palace. Palace delivered an incredible performance in this game and i do appreciate it. I never expected Palace to win with just one goal against Liverpool but since this is the result and liverpool must acceot it. We are all still waiting for the outcome of Villa vs Arsenal.
Villa repeated the palace's parking bus strategy. You can imagine if Liverpool and Arsenal's remaining matches are against the parking bus strategy. It means that any match between Liverpool and Arsenal will be extremely difficult to win.
This is what Pep Guardiola wanted in order to help his team win the game quickly and hope arsenal/liverpool to lose more points. Things are going even better than before for pep guardiola and his club, as the city has a great chance to lead the competition once more considering that arsenal has very bad result in the match against aston villa. If Arsenal wins the match, Manchester City will fall to second place, but if they fail, Guadiola will I'm rooting for Arsenal to win the league this season, and I don't want Manchester City to win another Premier League championship in a row.

If Arsenal fails to win today, the league will become Manchester City again because Arsenal still have tough matches to play in the league and they can't say they will win their remaining matches when they are already drawing now. Well, he should be able to understand that these questions are valid. he has done this to Manchester United and he will have to work to fix it. I don't know how he can have the audacity to actually say this is not important. Maybe this is not important because whatever happens, he is not going to be replaced. Maybe whatever happens, he will still be provided with Money to bring in more useless players or players that he had in the Ajax team. And it doesn't matter if Manchester United can show a little better performance in the upcoming remaining few matches. He has to be replaced.

The match between Arsenal and Aston Villa is already in the 78 minutes as at when this post was written but the result is still the same 0:0 with Arsenal having more of ball possession and goal attempts but Aston Villa doing a very solid defense as they are marking Arsenal out of their box just to prevent them from getting a goal in the match, Arsenal needs to be very careful if still want to continue fighting for 5he league and they need to be careful the way they all push attacks because Aston Villa has been planning to counter attack and ir that is achieved it's going to be difficult for Arsenal to comeback.

Aston Villa's aim in this match is to draw the match and gain 1 point from the match. Aston Villa is playing a defensive strategy in this match. Aston Villa players are not trying to attack too much. Even in 82 minutes, Villa's players could not make a single shot on target.
