WTF, Liverpool even struggle against Crystal Palace, this is no joke. If Liverpool lose in this match, I don't believe they can win either in Premier League or Europa League.
It's unbelievable that Liverpool had to struggle against Crystal Palace after many predictions were given for them to win Crystal Palace since they lost to Atlanta in the Europa League, their focus should be on the Premier League to win their remaining matches since it will be hard to win Atlanta at their home. This unfortunate that this lost match against Crystal Palace has denied them the aim of lifting the Premier League trophy. What Liverpool should do next, is to try their possible best to win their upcoming match against Atlanta, so that they might fall lucky to lift the Europa League trophy. At least by the end of the season, they will be adding another trophy in addition to Community Shield
Liverpool has used everything they had to win the game in order to secure its place for the title race, but Palace's defensive line was too strong and Liverpool was unable to break through it. It makes liverpool so frustrated with the result against palace. Palace delivered an incredible performance in this game and i do appreciate it. I never expected Palace to win with just one goal against Liverpool but since this is the result and liverpool must acceot it. We are all still waiting for the outcome of Villa vs Arsenal.
Villa repeated the palace's parking bus strategy. You can imagine if Liverpool and Arsenal's remaining matches are against the parking bus strategy. It means that any match between Liverpool and Arsenal will be extremely difficult to win.
This is what Pep Guardiola wanted in order to help his team win the game quickly and hope arsenal/liverpool to lose more points. Things are going even better than before for pep guardiola and his club, as the city has a great chance to lead the competition once more considering that arsenal has very bad result in the match against aston villa. It should be noted that City has the easier fixtures compared to Liverpool and Arsenal, city's chance to win the game is very big this time.
Arsenal will still face several strong clubs, which may prevent the club from earning full points. Villa's goal now and lead the game with two goals. Arsenal may repeat last season's result of being a bottle jobs club.
Two goals from Aston Villa. What a game. Arsenal once again recorded another bad result on its history. It's not as a winner but as a club that was often bottled the trophy.

As Liverpool and Arsenal have lost their 3-point gaps to keep topping the Premier League table ahead of Manchester City, I am predicting that Manchester City will lift this year's Premier League trophy just because they have fewer tough matches to play compared with the ones of Arsenal and Liverpool. However, I do not find this match lost by Arsenal and Liverpool to be funny because they have allowed Manchester City to become the champions of the English Premiership again for four consecutive times if they win this one, which they win.

Today is just a day of miracles... Grin First, Liverpool lost to an underdog... Then Arsenal also lost at home to Villa... By the way, in all three matches the guests won... Of course it's all a strange coincidence and now Man City are top of the standings... Grin I think they will be there until the end of the season...
Shocking results been recorded today, how do we explain how two competitive clubs loss. First it was Liverpool losing 1 nil against Crystal Palace at Anfield, the same ground they lost 3 nil to Atalanta last week. Secondly we witnessed Arsenal been thrashed 2-0 and Aston Villa steal the glory tray, this is no good news for Mikel Arteta and Jurgen Klopp. While its a glorious moment for Manchester City, they're parading as champs, it is another golden opportunity for Pep Guardiola to win the EPL title and him and his team will ensure they're strong enough to win.

It's been a disappointing week for Liverpool and Arsenal, but a happiest week for Manchester City. Manchester City automatically did not move down from the top of the standings after they managed to win 5-1 over Luton in the previous match, while Arsenal and Liverpool lost their respective matches against Crystal Palace and Aston Villa.

This scenario must have been discussed before because basically the top three teams have the same chance of winning the title. Manchester City ultimately leads the standings with a 2 point gap above Arsenal and Liverpool, but I still don't say Manchester City is safe to defend their title even though they have 6 games until the end of the season.

The reason why the defeats were surprising is because both Arsenal and Liverpool are in the title race together with Manchester City; since Manchester City won their match, they will be pressure with Arsenal and Liverpool, and the worst past is that, the opponents facing them are not weak teams that’s the defeat was shocking.
I still expect Manchester City to also drop some points because they cannot go away with all the remaining points since they some tough matches to ply.

Seeing surprises happen sometimes in the league is part of the game, and that made Premier league become the most interesting league in the world to watch because its the most difficult to predict, and furthermore, I doubt if anyone thought today Liverpool and Arsenal would lost at home soil, and it really such a sad for their fans and supporters of both clubs who are hopping to see their teams continue to do well towards this end of the season.

Honestly, this is a very big surprise for Arsenal to lose against Aston Villa and for Liverpool to lose to Crystal Palace in their home games. I don't think anybody will really think of this kind of thing will happened today. As Arsenal fans, the loss is just as imagination to me, because I never think that Arsenal will lose on its home ground. But for this loss, if I have to blame someone, it is Arteta. I will fully blame because I don't know why it started with Gabriel Jesus and Zinchenko and allowed them to play the full match  and later sub-Odegaard and White when he these are players attacking. I was not expecting Arteta to sub-white when Zinchenko was in the field.
Losing points at an important moment like now is the biggest surprise, we didn't expect Arsenal to be beaten by Aston Villa at the Emirates. Apart from that, we also didn't expect that Liverpool strength had weakened and that they also had the same fate as Arsenal, Crystal Palace managed to tackle Liverpool at Anfield. So for this surprising defeat in Week 33, Man City got great luck, because Pep Guardiola squad managed to lead the standings by 2 points. Of course Arteta and Klopp are fully responsible for their team performance, but the fight for the trophy is not completely over and surprises could happen again.

Man City journey in the next 6 remaining matches looks easier than Arsenal and Liverpool, it is very likely that Pep Guardiola squad will win the Premier League trophy again this season. It seems like our worries about Arsenal have returned, Arsenal again failed to maintain consistency towards the end of the season. Liverpool, whose ambition is to make a beautiful farewell to Klopp, will also reach a dead end, Man City looks like it will succeed in ruining the dreams of its two competitors.

More than any team. Manchester City is not happy to see Liverpool and Arsenal losing their games. That's the strategy of Guardiola, he usually wins the title at the last minute by using the mistakes of the other teams. The game against Aston Villa couldn't be a hard game for Arsenal and they could easily beat Aston Villa because of the better station and better player they have in Arsenal but unfortunately, Arteta lost the chance and Aston Villa won this game with a 2-0 result which is not something we could even expect to see.
Now Arsenal is in the second place in the Premier League with 71 points.

Arsenal will not be able to win the title this season from what I watched, I don't know if the fault started from the changes but I don't think Arsenal can win anymore with such performance if only they continue like this. Liverpool also lost at Anfield surprising, I never expected the poor performance from both teams but the amazing part is how did Crystal Palace manage to defeat Liverpool, what will happen next or it's likely we might see Manchester city winning the title this season again.

Liverpool and Arsenal loosing today is Such a great opportunity for Manchester city to comfortably climb to the top of the table and just like last season be able to win the trophy again a d defend the trophy as the defending champion, i had a friend today saying that Manchester city is most definitely going to win the title this season, that they have been able to crack the premiere league code a d they now know how to always win the premier league.

Not minding their position, if they are at any point still around the top three and the season has got fee weeks before it comes to an end, you can be sure they will most likely win the trophy just like they have done last two seasons a s even Arsenal has been unable to win the trophy regardless of how close they get to winning the trophy. Rod Liverpool actually got me disappointed because even while they were loosing by a goal i still trusted them to be able to win the game by the second half but it was actually really sad to see them loosing at the end of the second half even when they appeared superior to crystal palace

Arsenal roo also got me shocked because they had a better form a d they were aswell playing very much better with all their squad complete, i was thinking Arsenal wouldn't let the event of last season repeat but it's gradually looking like they are about to loose the trophy again just like it did happened last season, i actually expected Arsenal will be able to maintain their form a d win or draw most games till the end of the season so they can win the trophy.

Arteta doesn't learn from mistakes and Arteta continues to make them. It's hard to believe, even though this is the time for Arsenal to top the standings, they were unable to take advantage of this opportunity properly. It could be said that in this match Arsenal were defeated by their former coach and former players, Emery and Martinez. From yesterday's and today's matches, Cristal Palace and Aston Villa immediately paved the way for Man City to lift the trophy, so Man City should be grateful to them.

Arsenal can be so unreliable, I thought they wouldn’t be overthrown from that position but they just made me lose hope in them again. This was what happened last season and now we are back at the same thing, with history trying to repeat itself again. I thought Arsenal should have learned better and wouldn’t allow this to happen to them for the second term. Liverpool initially has the opportunity and they failed to remain at the top, then Arsenal had one too and also failed now, let’s see if Manchester City will utilize the opportunity better than the other two teams in the top three contenders for the league title.

Absolutely, as you say. The fight for the EPL trophy seems to be over. Just give the trophy directly to Manchester City. Because, if Man City is at the top, it is difficult to go down. In addition, the remaining matches are also more profitable for Man City because they have easy opponents. Arsenal still has to face Chelsea, Tottenham and Man United. Liverpool played three away games in a row.

Let the title go to who befits it the more and with no much explanation, I think Manchester City should be the befitting club for it. Everything is just happening like it did last season and without much speculations anymore, Manchester City will be hard to be replaced from they first position they’ve just attained. With their champions league hopes on the bridge of collapsing, they will make sure this doesn’t slip through them and be at great loss. They either win one, or two, or even go for treble this season because they’re still in the FA cup competition.

I know this is hard to believe after many people were optimistic that there would be no change in position in the standings this weekend. Liverpool and Arsenal were both favorites to win the match, but how shocked everyone was when they had to face the fact that Arsenal and Liverpool had to lose in the same week and gave Manchester City an open way to win the title.

Of course I agree with what you say, Manchester City deserves to thank Crystal Palace and Aston Villa. But Aston Villa and Crystal Palace are basically just fighting for their own destiny instead of helping Manchester City top the standings.

I was also surprised when I saw the scores because I was busy today and was not able to witness the games, but seeing them lose against their opponents is very surprising because I know that Liverpool have a high chance of winning the game again. Even from the game as I saw it, Liverpool played a better performance than Crystal Palace, but due to a lack of luck, they were not able to get a single goal, which was such a surprising event. But that is what a game is normally like: some times you win while some you lose, especially when it comes to a game of luck.

That of Arsenal was the most surprising one because Aston Villa won their goal in the second half, where the goal interval was not more than three minutes, while for the complete first half, the game was like it belonged to Arsenal. When they came back for the second half, Aston Villa just kept on with the game, and luckily enough, they won the game, which is good for them, so now Arsenal and Liverpool are sharing the same point.

Tonight, Liverpool and Arsenal were defeated and dropped points.
These results were very good for M.City and they took the lead. Yesterday, M.City beat Luton Town 5-1.
Unfortunately, Liverpool and Arsenal cannot take advantage of the opportunities. It looks like they will give the championship to M.City this year too.

The failures experienced by Arsenal and Liverpool in their matches were surprising news for fans of these clubs. However, this was bad luck for Man City, because how could it not be, with the defeat and loss of several points experienced by Arsenal and Liverpool, this made Man City at the top of the standings for a while. Man City managed to be at the top of the standings and achieved quite an impressive victory against Luton Town. However, football is always full of unexpected surprises, even though at the moment it seems that luck is on Man City's side, it is not certain whether in the future the club will be able to achieve championship gear easily. Because both Arsenal and Liverpool still have the opportunity to turn things around and challenge Man City's dominance.

I think the reason why this two lose in their home was because of tension and I knew something like this is gonna happen. I feel so pity for arsenal,  this is the same way they lose the title to Liverpool last season, so sad for this to repeat again after all the struggles. Arsenal defeat  to Aston Villa is well understood because Aston Villa is tough team and it can make Arsenal to get tension that will definitely affect their performance. Liverpool losing crystal Palace a struggling team in thier home is the most annoying.

With the defeats of Arsenal and Liverpool it is just the end of it that Manchester City is the winner of Premier league for the season. Manchester City is so lucky for today's game.
Arsenal has the potential to repeat the dark history of last season, where in my opinion Arteta squad will have difficulty taking over from Manchester City at the top of the standings. In fact, Arsenal are very favorites to win over Aston Villa, because they act as hosts. The same thing as Liverpool, Jurgen Klopp squad also failed to secure full points this week, so Manchester City is very fortunate because their position is safe at the top of the standings.

Aston Villa and Crystal Palace managed to make bettors suffer losses, which I think many bettors did not expect these two teams to create a surprise by beating the team challenging for the title. I think Manchester City will be able to win all the remaining games in the future, and Pep Guardiola's squad will win the Premier League trophy again four times in a row.

Unbelievable. Arsenal lost to Aston Villa twice in a season. I am sure it is the fault of the coach. Every single minute of the game i watched it clearly. The errors started from the formation. Where he had to bench Martinelli and started Trossard in the first half. When he is fully aware that Trossard is a game changer and not a starter. Secondly, he kept Jorginho on the bench and played Havertz as midfielder in the first half. This is so crazy you know! It's obvious that Arteta is not ready to win the league, all the Arsenal fans are extremely disappointed with Arteta. Because this was the only opportunity to top the league and win it. Now that Manchester City is at the top there is no going down for them. The league is for them now.
Arteta doesn't learn from mistakes and Arteta continues to make them. It's hard to believe, even though this is the time for Arsenal to top the standings, they were unable to take advantage of this opportunity properly. Arteta and Arsenal experienced the same incident as the previous season, they were a little closer to winning the league but in the end they became runners up, surely most Arsenal fans feel very disappointed, being disappointed twice is a very bad thing in my opinion, if Arteta used the same strategy and composition of players surely this would not happen to Arsenal, I also don't understand why he included Martinelli and Havertz in the first half, but maybe my positive thought is that he wants to try to save energy and in the second half he can stabilize his players, but the results are bad and not according to the original plan, yes I think Arsenal were humiliated twice at home, this is tough but ridiculous.

Guardiola and Manchester City benefited greatly this week, Crystal Palace and Aston Villa wins saw him fly to the top again, I think Guardiola needs to say thank you by giving a warm greeting to both teams, and yes, Manchester City if already at the top it is difficult to go down, unless they lose KDB like before which makes their strategy ineffective and messy when there is no KDB in their starting lineup on the field, we will hand the English Premier League trophy back to Mr. Guardiola this season.

At first, Arsenal is meant to win this match because at least they are at home and they have every advantage to win since they are at the Emirates Stadium.

Secondly, their quest to remain at the top of the league is not to be overstated. So, that alone should give every fan and well-wisher the kind of vibe that Arsenal is going to win this match but it was vice-versa.

As if that was not enough, Liverpool also lost to Crystal Palace who are at the 14th position of the league table. When Liverpool is also seen as one of the A clubs that is pursuing the first position of the league table standing, yet, they also lost in their match today.

Could one say that today was meant to be an advocacy for clubs that are working hard to be noticed within the league or it is just another bad day for the elite clubs who are fighting for the top position of the league? I wish I have someone who can give a better explanation to this wondrous moment.
Both Liverpool and Arsenal made me loss my bet because I never excepted that they will be defeated by their opponents. I know that Aston Villa will give Arsenal a tough time in the match but I never expected them to win the match. This is a poor result for Arsenal and it has made them to be swcvond on the table.

Aston Villa have nothing to lose, assuming they lost the match, which was the major reason that would have made Arsenal win the match. Liverpool on the other hand had a bad luck day because they had so many chances of scoring but they couldn't, and Aston Villa was able to score with few chances that the had. As they season is coming to an end, clubs have started dropping points. Let's see who last in the game.

This ain't the first time in the Premier League Competition such has happened. Some seasons ago with Bendran Rogers as head coach of Liverpool, they lost the Premier League Competition with such a defeat to Crystal Palace but this is much different since it's at him. Who would believe they would lose back to back games at home?
They lost to Atalanta and now Crystal Palace? I'm also sure they'll be knocked out of the UEFA European Europa League Competition in the next couple days.

For gunners, blames should be on Mikel Arteta because he should have sticked to the squad that gives him delivery and also positive results.
Two shots on target lead to two goals that decided the game for them.

The only surprising game for me today is Liverpool vs crystal Palace, i just keep on thinking why Liverpool should lose that kind of match, crystal palace is not really a strong club, how will you lose three points to a club like that, I never expected Liverpool to lose point to crystal palace, even if they will be losing point, I was thinking it’s going to be other strong clubs, not a club like crystal palace.

I knew Arsenal vs Aston villa won’t be an easy match, so I wasn’t really having full confidence that Arsenal will win the match. So losing to Aston villa wasn’t a shock to me, I was even expecting the match to end as draw, but Aston villa was able to get a win in the match. Manchester City are seating at the first position with 2 points ahead of Arsenal and Liverpool, Manchester City will do everything possible to maintain their current position.

City got lucky because Liverpool and Arsenal suffered defeats, very embarrassing defeats because they happened at home. How tight the competition is towards the end of the season, all teams have the ambition to secure full points so they can finish in a more worthy place. It is clear that City progress will be very difficult to stop in the remaining matches ahead, so Liverpool and Arsenal will find it difficult to climb to the top of the standings.

Previously Liverpool suffered a surprising defeat to Atalanta in the Europa League, and most recently they suffered another humiliating defeat to Crystal Palace, where Klopp will be increasingly worried about the performance of his fleet. Arsenal, who are in their best form slumped again, they will experience bad luck like last season.

Meanwhile, City is actually not in a safe position, because their points difference is very narrow, and just one defeat could make Arsenal or Liverpool overtake them again. Talking about other competitions, Aston Villa was surprisingly able to break Arsenal positive trend, and Emery fleet has a big chance of finishing in the Champions League zone this season.
