It was really shocking to me by the performance of the manager of Liverpool, because to me he was the one that made this Liverpool side lost the game yesterday by his wrong substitutions in the game, he took out the people that have most influence in the game from this Liverpool team, and that emboldened Manchester united to start having that believe that they can come back into the game, which they did, and eventually won it on extra time, So I think that now they will have more focus on the premier league and the uefa Europa league, but it's not a good thing to throw away an opportunity to lift a trophy for another one which you aren't sure of winning.
Well it's true Jurgen was to blame for the poor performance of his boys but I guess he had settled within himself that in life you lose some and win some. Imagine this were the Premier league I doubt he'd do that because there will be a lot riding on his decision. Let's say he had to sub his best players to bring on the average ones so he can at least rest them for the game in front with Brighton as I regard that game more important than this one they played against Man UTD.
Right now, Liverpool are second place with 64 points but the Gunners have the advantage over them with goal difference and I don't think they will joke with the game by letting the opposition take advantage because that would mean a drop in points and I doubt they may be able to come back if that should ever happen.
When the team does well, we give accolades to Klopp, but when it is the opposite, we start saying it is his fault. In that game, i would say the team were reluctant in the field, that is why the second goal from Manchester United came in. Klopp gave a good strategy of play to his boys; they tried it, and it worked in the second half.
Let us be sincere here, Klopp has done his best for this team. I know it is very painful that he lost in the game because, since he is going to leave Liverpool soon, he needs to win a trophy as a courtesy. Now the EPL league trophy is slowly slipping out of his hands. Manchester City and Arsenal are on it again.
Sorry bro, football is not like that, in football if you are doing well, you will be praised and applauded for it, but when you are performing below par, you will be criticized, which to me is normal in the beautiful game of football, klopp killed the game for his team with wrong substitutions, but congrats to Manchester united for seizing the opportunity.
Concerning the title, I don't really think the title is slipping away from them, they are actually still in the mixed, and to me they even have a friendly fixture compared to their both counterpart, so to me it's Liverpool title to lose, they just have to keep on winning till the last day of the season.
