Yes, this victory should be celebrated by all Manchester United supporters, players and coaches. The reason is, the victory over Manchester City was a very unexpected surprise considering Manchester United's current condition. Moreover, this match was held at Manchester City headquarters, so this clearly makes this victory even more special. Because at first I never thought Manchester United would win this match. Because as we know, Manchester United usually always finds it difficult to draw, let alone beat Manchester City. However, in this match, the Manchester United players actually showed quite good unity. So this means that Amorim has really succeeded in building Manchester United's performance in a more positive direction. Therefore, I think Amorim is very suitable to be chosen as coach at Manchester United. Because even though it is slow, now it is clear that the prospects that Amorim is building at Manchester United are really good. So I hopefully Amorim can continue to improve Manchester United's performance.

The celebrations was great Yesterday, I was with Man U fans and everyone danced to the victory of the team over Man City. The second goal by Diallo got us all on our feet rejoicing. Amorim did his best and it's a marvelous trend for his boys to beat Guardiola's team. However, the Cityzens have been facing a downward trend, so Amorim had to partake in the opportunity, and win them just like every other club that met City lately.

Goodnight, ohh Leo!!! 🦅
Pep Guardiola have been asked on few occasions of he'll be making some signings in the January transfer window so he can balance his team but his response have always been that he "wants his injured players back". Just like you said, the Spanish manager needs to make some significant additions to the team's so they can be competitive again but if he decides not to do that, I'll not be surprised to see Manchester City not finish the season in the top four.
Pep Guardiola can not buy players without given budget from the club owner and there is barrier and risk that if they overspend, they will be punished by UEFA soon. There is rumor that Manchester City are facing with big risk of a severe punishment from UEFA with financial issues in their club latest years. Fraud financial reports in the past, can cause massive harms on Manchester City in future.

With this pressure, their club owner will not want to give Pep Guardiola too much money for winter transfer market. The coach will mostly base on available players include young ones, to lead his club going through this hard time as best as possible.
If Pep Guardiola insists he wants his injured players back, it simply means he trusts his tactics and strategies just that his machineries are down at the moment. He has proven in previous seasons how accountable he is with this complete squad. If he fails to meet up the expectations this season he should  be pardoned with great honor because winning the title race consistently without opposition for Four consecutive seasons isn't an easy-peasy.

I have this notion that most Manchester city players are worn out already with the high discipline and commitment they have to keep up with in maintaining this records over the years. The need a break to rebuild and restructure then come back fully next season to continue from where they left off. Possibly, I also think replacement would mean a good step up at this point for the club.

Chelsea under the leadership of Enzo Maresca has excelled. Maresca has changed their fortunes and has successfully instilled a winning mentality into his players. Chelsea have improved a lot this season. Chelsea are now second on the table, a testament of Enzo Maresca management. I can say now Chelsea are a worthy title contender this season.

I was surprised when Manchester United came from one goal down to win Manchester City in the much anticipated Manchester derby. Manchester United took advantage of City’s lack of composure to win the game. It was a good game for Ruben Amorim and his men. Congratulations to Amorim as he becomes the first manager since Ferguson to win his first Manchester derby.

I expected Tottenham to do more than what they have done because Southampton is one of the worst teams this season;
What more do you want them to do? Until they win with 20 goals that you will be satisfied? 5 goals is already a huge goal margin and it was a disappointing result for Southampton, they play well and are confident on the ball but they just need to reduce their conceding rate and increase their goal scoring rate.
I also don't understand what he expects anymore. In fact, in this match, there are several plus points from Tottenham that we really appreciate:
- goals since the 1st minute
- 5 goals, without a single reply
- All goals are in the first half
- Dominance of the ball
- No Offside
- Several saves

Even when compared to other clubs such as Man City, Chelsea, Arsenal, in this match, Tottenham is much better and optimal in defeating Southampton.

Even though my bet lost on Chelsea match, I am so satisfied with Man United victory.
Are you surprised by Man City defeat? Say 1 wise word for Man City. Cheesy
Man City was full of enthusiasm in the first half but in the second half in the final minutes it was clear that Man City defense was so disappointing, like allowing Diallo to score very easily.

Pep Guardiola must take advantage of the January transfer market if he wants to change or make his team rise and Manchester City management must also fully support it, otherwise I think their slump will be even deeper.
It has been only Haaland in striking for them this season, he needs another striking option just as he needs new defensive options and another option in defensive midfield. Manchester City are slowly drifting far from any chance to defend their title again, and Chelsea although the coach refuses to admit it are shockingly the title contenders this season, currently in the race with Liverpool. If Chelsea do not face problems later with injuries, or fatigue, they can actually win this season.
It is very, very unlikely that Manchester city will defend their title this season. The team is in obsolescence state, and it will take total rebuilding for them to get back to a competitive state, because the way they collapsed late in the match against Manchester United is very shocking. A  proper Manchester city team we used to know can't collapse like that. Chelsea team won't grow fatigue, because they almost have a different team that's playing for them in the conference league. Some of their best players are specifically reserved for the premier League matches only. Chelsea will remain consistent for the remainder of the season. Chelsea has everything it takes to win the premier League this season, because currently there is no team they can't beat in the premier League. Gradually Liverpool is dropping points and Chelsea are closing in on them. The league is just between them and Liverpool, because I don't consider Arsenal as a real threat to them anymore. Manchester city are already out of the race, so there is no point considering them as title contenders anymore. They need to reinforce especially in midfield and defense, because that's where their major challenges are coming from.

Meanwhile, for the Arsenal VS Everton match, this should have been a match that Arsenal could win, but it is very unfortunate that in this match Arsenal's attack line appeared blunt, where they only played around in the opponent's defense area but were unable to make a shot to tear Everton's goal. Arsenal's finishing was very poor in this match, so that until the referee blew the long whistle, there were no goals scored in this match.
It was disappointing to see Arsenal play a goaless match with a team that most big teams find it easy to win this season. Yesterday Arsenal had a chance to capitalize on Liverpool’s red card disadvantage and climb up the table but Arsenal failed to score a goal against Everton. I think Mikel Arteta is too comfortable finishing every season as a title contender. I don't think Arsenal should be regarded as a title contender instead they should be regarded as bottlers.

Arsenal's front line is similar to what happened to Manchester City in the last few seasons, before Erling Haaland joined Manchester City and became the team's spearhead.

For the next match, Arsenal will again face teams that are ranked lower, namely Crystal Palace and Ipswich. And for Crystal Palace, they will meet Arsenal 2 times in a row, namely in the quarter-finals of the League Cup and the Premier League. and if Arsenal are only able to win narrowly or even not score at all, then Arsenal's attack line must be questioned and Arsenal must find a striker who is hungry for goals and a striker who is able to do good finishing.

Well I don't think it was true. After Jesko Garvidol opening goal, I doubt bookmakers would have given Manchester United such odds, Manchester City too are not in a good run of form this season.

I don't think Manchester City's struggles is based solely on injuries. I think there is more internal issues within the club. And as for Ruben Amorim dropping both Rashford and Garnacho was the best decision he could have taken for the game. Amorim is a no nonsense coach and with him Manchester United players will be more disciplined as they will be led with a strong hand.
Unbelievable, City lost again, it's even more surprising because they were 1-0 up until the 88th minute and I was hoping it would be an important win for them, but in the end it was a defeat again. Maybe it's normal, in the sense that every team can have such crises, in fact Arsenal and Liverpool and Chelsea have had them, everyone has gone through it, but City have managed to avoid it for many years until now.
Manchester City resumed their negative trend this season after being beaten by Manchester United in the derby match yesterday, it's a strange sight to see Manchester City this season have only won one of the 11 games they have played in all competitions, so I think this season is Guardiola worst losing streak while he was coaching, apart from injuries, maybe the 115 cases to the surface at the moment has affected their performance, Although I actually doubt this reason, butthere seems to be no other more realistic reason to describe the cause of City poor performance this season Grin.

I expected Tottenham to do more than what they have done because Southampton is one of the worst teams this season; they recorded the highest defeat with the highest number of conceded goals. I will say that I wasn't satisfied with the five goals because if they could have five goals in the first half, I expected to see one or two goals in the second. Any team that meets Southampton usually takes advantage of accumulating goals. Tottenham have tried and this will give them courage to face Manchester United in their next match. Both teams won their last match but Manchester United didn't find it easy because their victory came when the game is about to end which is usually dangerous if they meet stronger teams.
What more do you want them to do? Until they win with 20 goals that you will be satisfied? 5 goals is already a huge goal margin and it was a disappointing result for Southampton, they play well and are confident on the ball but they just need to reduce their conceding rate and increase their goal scoring rate. The management are tired of the poor results and so they sacked their coach to try and improve the team so they can fight their way out of the relegation zone. The sacked coach philosophy is good but not for a newly promoted team in the premier, trying to possess the game is only effective for bigger teams with more talented players.

Tottenham have 2 strong matches next, EFL Cup match against Manchester United and after they face Liverpool in the league game, it will be a very tough and interesting game to watch.

We have not seen Tottenham win a match in a long time. In the last few matches against Chelsea, Bournemouth, and Fulham, we have seen poor performances from Tottenham players. However, Tottenham is playing great against a weak defense in today's match. Tottenham is going to win by a big margin against Southampton today.

Southampton is one of the weakest defense teams in the Premier League. The team is in the last position in the point table. Tottenham was able to take a big lead of 5-0 in the first half against Southampton. Min Son and Maddison are playing great in today's match. Tottenham is playing with an attacking strategy in the second half. If Tottenham had played with an attacking strategy in the second half, Tottenham might have been able to score a few more goals in this match.
Irrespective of Tottenham's poor performance of late, I think their win over Southampton will definitely boost their morale. It's been a while since we saw Tottenham win with such a huge margin. The way they played was good, it was a good performance from their captain Son Heung-min as he inspired Tottenham with a goal and two assists. I hope they will be able to build on this momentum and return back to winning ways.

I checked what City fans are saying on Reddit, and most of them are saying they should just start the youth players. Sure Haaland is fine, and Doku and Savinho aren't really bad players, they may lack a mindset, like a winner mindset, but they are not complacent, and trying. Whereas, they are hating on KDB, Gundogan, Grealish, Walker, basically almost everyone.

If Pep decides to just field 11 youth players, like all under 21 players, the fans wouldn't really be mad at him, after all they are already losing, so what's the worst that could happen with that? They would lose again, they are already doing that so might as well try and see if there are any amazing gems in the youth team by checking them out at premier league games.

Actually, Amad Diallo had several opportunities to score goals, but unfortunately he was only able to do so in the final minutes of the match or right after Bruno Fernandes scored a goal through his penalty kick. But I was also quite amazed at Manchester United's achievements through the two players because both of them played really well in the match. And now the Manchester United players are clearly very motivated by Amorim's tactics so that in the next match they will also play much better than last weekend.
Previously I did doubt Manchester City to be able to win and in fact they did lose to the Red Devil Squad who turned things around in the final minutes of the match, and it is true what you said, Amad did have many opportunities that could actually make them superior, it's just that maybe they weren't lucky, besides that I think between the two teams, it seems like the Red Devil Squad has more opportunities than City.

The disappointment experienced by Guardiola cannot be hidden, they had a good season but in the middle of this season they became a mess, it seems like there was a serious problem so that they experienced a drastic bad change. With Manchester United themselves, whether they will be able to rise or not like Chelsea who managed to experience a change for the better.

How Pep guardiola hasn't been able get his Acts together up till now still amazes me, for a defending champion who has consistently held that position for consecutive four seasons, now going for a losing spree for this long is really unbelievable. Watching the match yesterday against United, I think it's safe to say Pep guardiola has not yet been able to discover what exactly is affecting his teams overall performance in the last two months. He still believes the same tactics and pattern of play will eventually bring back his dominating style of play. Manchester united really didn't do much, they just had to go to Etihad and not come back Empty hand.
Much earlier it was blamed on the wave of injuries that the team was hit by and later on the absence of some other key players one of which is rodri who isn't still back but then gradually most of the key players are back and the team is almost complete except for rodri and he's been maintaining his usual technical approach that has gotten him the wins he's enjoyed all his years in city but at this point it's even feeling like even if Rodri comes back much may not change because they are in such a very pitiable state now and will hope to get salvage probably by a miracle or is it about that time Guardiola should consider calling it a quit as his experience and tactics put together is beginning to fail him.

I overheard someone saying that Manchester united was giving 70 odds to win the game after City scored. Just imagine people that played that game at that very moment because I believe few people were willing to take such risks.

I don't like to say this, but I think this recent City's failure is far beyond the absence of Rodri. The last goal could have been prevented if the defense backline wasn't lost, and if Gvardiol didn't run like a speedster. Brilliant late minute performance from Manchester united because they deserve to win the game IMO. 1win in 11games, and they face Aston Villa next at Villa's park, this is obviously their moment, because I believe every clubs have their own bad times.

And as for Amorim not calling up Rashford and Gernacho, that's some level of courage there. I heard some rumors of Gernacho's involvement in something that might have breached his contract (but not yet confirmed). I just hope it isn't true, because Diallo seems to be a decent player that will take his starting spot.

And again, i don't see City management sacking pep. Even with these losses, he's still one of the best managers(if not the best). They will surely get over this current problems.

Perhaps it remained to be seen whether Manchester City would be defeated by Manchester United. Manchester City's performance against Manchester United made me think that Manchester City may have lost their way and will not be able to return to their usual form this season. A few days ago, Manchester United was regularly defeated by smaller teams in the Premier League and other leagues. Manchester United, the best team in the Premier League, defeated Manchester City in this match. On the one hand, this win is an inspiration for Manchester United, on the other hand, for Manchester City, a defeat in this match will cause a lot of criticism and will cause a bad effect on the team. I don't know when Manchester City will return to their usual form after performing so badly.

It was a brilliant performance by Manchester United yesterday and a great result for Ruben Amorim and his players. I like what Ruben Amorim is doing at Manchester United as he is gradually instilling a winning mentality into his players. Since the arrival of Ruben Amorim, Manchester United has started playing as an organized team. His tactical influence on his players is good but it need to be consistent. I’m sure in the upcoming transfer window he will be able to fix some of the problems he has identify by selling underperforming players like Marcus Rashford that don't fit the standard of Manchester United.

I think there are some matches that are not as expected such as the defeat of Aston Villa, Man City and Brighton.

Brighton losing to crystal Palace 3:1 is unexpected, for the reason best known to them they could not took it upon themselves to see that they either win crystal Palace or draw with them, at some point in the match I began to ask myself how they were able to win Manchester City because clearly they were off the trail on this match, they had the opportunity when it was still 1:0 against them to balance the game but nothing of that nature happens and even to try and defend not to conceive again so that they would reinforce but they still let their guard down and after losing most of them began to frown as if it was not their faults.

Yes, some of Manchester City key players are starting to look slow, Pep Guardiola needs to refresh the team, but it seems they will not be too active in the January transfer market. Manchester City chances of retaining the trophy are getting slimmer, although we realize the season is still too long, and the situation could improve in the second half of the season. Regarding Chelsea, they are now worthy of being considered as title rivals with Liverpool. Enzo Maresca is wise enough to respond to the various compliments that are thrown at him, so that his players remain humble and continue to work hard. Chelsea biggest luck this season, apart from having many rotation options, is that they have avoided the storm of injuries.
