Manchester United's performance is very good now. It can be seen that in the last few matches there has been a significant increase in performance from the Manchester United team. The victory they achieved is not surprising because with the quality that Manchester United is currently showing, they deserve to win.
I think currently the possibility of Manchester United being able to enter the top 4 positions is increasingly wide open, Tottenham and Aston Villa who are above Manchester United in the Premier League standings are often unable to maintain consistency and in terms of strength Manchester United is also quite capable so I think it is very possible for Manchester United to enter the top 4 positions.

But the major factor was the injury crisis they encountered at the early stages of the tournament which cause a little decline in their performance, however since Sir Jim Ratcliffe  won the takeover process and is currently bent on taking the club back to their glory days, I've noticed some changes in Manchester United's performance they really improved lately and if they maintain consistency there's a tendency of them entering the top 4.

 It doesn't matter whether they improve towards the end or at the beginning of the season, the main thing is meeting up the top 4 and that is Ten Hag's main focus lately, afterall Arsenal performed well last season from the very early stages of the tournament but still bottled the league, so if united started poorly and pick up form towards the end of the season then make top 4 then we’ll be right to say that the season was a successful one, well they're still in the FA Cup, so hopefully just like last season, they could enter the finals and win this time around.

Chelsea's defense indeed deserves some accolades because they were really tough enough to resist all the attempt to get a second goal by Manchester city, they attacking force from Manchester city was really a good one and very commendable, they actually tried to stay ahead in the game but Chelsea was much more prepared then they taught.

I wasn't expecting this kind of performance from either sides because Manchester city was said to be in their very good form and Chelsea was aswell not really looking stable because in recent times I've noticed that Chelsea has not been really good with their premier league performance but has only been good out side premier league so I was expecting to see them in their regular premier league from and Manchester city been able to get ahead of the at once.

Manchester United can do a good job in the match that makes them win 3 points. They immediately took the initiative to attack in the early minutes and they managed to create 2 goals in less than 10 minutes. Their effort to do that I think was the right decision and they did it.
Their chances of being able to move up to the top 4 are still open, now they only have a difference of 3 points from Tottenham and have a difference of 5 pounds from Aston Villa who are ranked 4th. They can do that with a note that they have to be consistent with the game and win, because that's all they can do, while hoping that the 2 clubs that are above them at the moment make a lot of mistakes and lose a lot of points from the matches they play. Their chances are quite wide open with the improvement in their performance lately, I hope Erik Ten Hag does not make many wrong decisions, especialy in choosing the players he will play.

I quite disagree with your take on Luton being a force at their home front because according to stats, it shows they have a poor form at home.  Having a total of 3 wins 2 draws and 7 losses shouldn't be considered as good results for a team, I feel the best way to describe them is that they are stubborn and also determined. They rarely get intimidated when faced with big teams and even though they end up losing those games, you will see that they usually put in a good fight to make the game interesting other than making it look one sided as it ought to be.
 Luton just need to be God at converting their chances at goal and you'd see a different team. I've been closely following their games and what I've observed is that unlike Man UTD, they have a leadership and play as a unit, this makes it easy for their balls to be coordinated and precise.

It's true that Arsenal confidence is currently increasing and they have taken over second place which was previously occupied by Manchester City and the point difference with Manchester City is 2 points and the difference with Liverpool is also 2 point so the competition between the three is getting hotter and cannot be prediction exactly who deserves to win the Premier League title.
