Liverpool is at the top with a total of 60 points after beating Luton Twon. The 4-1 victory was an additional point, so they shot up a long way and left Man City with a difference of 4 points. The opening goal was scored by Virgil van Dijk who also became the Man of the Match in that match. Liverpool then scored again through Cody Gakpo, Luis Diaz and Harvey Elliott. Luton also had a comeback and were beaten 4-1. Virgil van Dijk, who is a defender from the Netherlands, had a big influence on Liverpool's victory, there were many opportunities to almost score his second goal and his performance made the Liverpool squad inspired and more enthusiastic.

In the initial half of the match, Liverpool exhibited commendable performance as they effectively dominated the field, orchestrating about three shots on target towards the goal. Despite Luton initially securing a one-goal lead in the first half, my confidence in Liverpool's resilience remained unwavering. I firmly believed that they would not concede victory to Luton on their home turf.

Liverpool turned things around in the second half to beat Luton Town with a 4-1 scoreline at Anfield Stadium. With this 4-1 win against Luton Town, Liverpool is leading the Premier League table with four points clear of Manchester City, but if Manchester City wins their outstanding match, they will reduce the point difference to one point.

The Luton's goal didn't seem like a left one from Liverpool. Chong shot for the goal and Kelleher was not able to properly clear the ball that rebounded at the side of Ogbene and he scored. It was a nice goal but saved no points for Luton town. Liverpool was attacking from start to the finish and Kaminiski was overwhelmed with shots.
Liverpool scored all their 4 goals on 2nd half. It was expected from the top team of the league against a team that's likely going to be relegated.

Whether it was expected or unexpected is a weird statement because a player's excellence has nothing to do with his potential susceptibility to injuries. I was pointing that out because when there is a player with world class ballon d'or potential and they get stopped from performing continuously on the highest level because they miss games and can't break records for that reason, then it makes me sad.

But what I find so surprising about Haaland and his pretty extensive injury history is that he looks so extremely robust and yet he is injured relatively often. From season 21/22 until now he missed 37 games and when you check his list of injuries or the types of injuries, it's all kinds of stuff.

I hope for thim that he now stays healthy until the end of the season as he is fun to watch because he is a machine on the pitch and a down to earth player.

Honesty, the match between Liverpool and Luton Town was quite intriguing, but what surprised me the most was how completely Luton Town gave up the lead to Liverpool in the second half after leading by one goal in the first. Or Is it because Luton Town didn't maintain their consistent? To be honest, Luton Town's early performance was so good that it had little bearing on Liverpool's several goals, as a result, they came from behind and dominate the matches, which was a shocking result.
After Liverpool overcomes a deficit to turn the season around, all the suspense has ended as they ultimately dominate the game despite their best efforts, leading Luton Town 4-1. Liverpool has declared the final scores since they approach the game with the intention of winning and they make every effort to accomplish so. Although not many clubs can defeat Liverpool these days, Luton Town gave it their all and shocked a lot of people by taking the lead within the opening twelve minutes of the game, but like of consistent prevent them from winning the match.

Liverpool this season have had no problems with other teams scoring them first, they will still remain composed until they're able to score one goal and then keep scoring to win the game. They showed the difference in the two teams and why they are so far apart on the Premier League table. Somehow, I think Liverpool allowed Luton town to scored and the unleash their crazy attack on them with many goals, they did the same thing to Brentford and now they did exactly the same goal to Luton town, this guys started well and despite that they are not feared like Manchester City, they win their matches without making much noise. They are still maintaining the first place and has given Liverpool a gap by 4 points and now Manchester City need to do their own homework to meet or else these will mark the beginning of their failure.

Liverpool match line up look easy for them until the day they are going to play with Manchester City, and if they eventually win Manchester City then that day we will officially know who is going to win the league and going forward too, Liverpool must no lose any match else they will give chance of Manchester City and if they see that chance and have the first place, it will be hard for them to lose it again, that's Manchester city target right now.

I didn’t expect this to be a difficult match for the reds, they truly deserve to win the match that is why even as Luton Town scored the first goal I was not worried because I bet on Liverpool to win and score more than two goals. The match result is very impressive for Liverpool fans, the I injuries people are complaining of did not show today but the injury will affect them in big matches.

After Liverpool suffered defeat against Arsenal, the improvements made by Jurgen Kloop seemed to have been very successful because in the last 3 matches Liverpool managed to beat their opponents with big scores. Liverpool beat Burnley with a score of 3-1 and continued with a 4-1 win against Brentford and also in today match Jurgen Kloop troops managed to secure a win with a score of 4-1 against Luton. Well Liverpool managed to record 3 consecutive wins after losing to Arsenal and in my opinion they are very focused on maintaining their ranking from the threat of Manchester City and Arsenal.

If they continue to be consistent, their chances will be wide open to secure the title this season. If I pay attention, many of the upcoming matches will be quite tough for Liverpool, especially since they will meet Manchester city again and this is where their strength will be tested.
For the next match, Liverpool will face Chelsea in the Carabao Cup final and in my opinion this match will be a match that will encourage the enthusiasm of the Liverpool players because if they succeed in becoming champions. Of course their steps will be more aggressive in the premier league.

The first half of the match was not really a easy one for Liverpool, they couldn’t score any goal in the first half of the match, but after the first half, I was still having hope in Liverpool to win the match, but I never expected them to score four goals in the second half of the match, Liverpool played well in the match, it’s shows that they are really focused to win the league tittle, some Liverpool key players are on injury, but it doesn’t affect them in todays match, because they won the match with confidence, just as you said if Liverpool are playing against strong clubs, it might not really be a easy one for them, but they played well in todays match, and they really deserve the win in the match.

Luton Town are not one soft or chicken side to play. They're good at whatever they do mostly when launching direct attacks on clubs.  Mind you, this same Luton Town was responsible for sharing points with Liverpool  during the first half of the season. Ross Barkley the former Chelsea midfielder has been a good lad fottjrm this season. Yet again it was another game to see them leaving top bottom but they still lost. It feels like they'd be relegated too.

Mac Alister also has done well today with double assist. His movements to Liverpool has not been well during the early stages but he has gradually fitted himself into the squad.

Liverpool has survived alot in this season, and it's now clear that they are heading to the title this season, they reaffirmed that in their today's match where they won with a slide of 4 goals to 1 which makes it a 2l3 point addition to their current points and also build more confidence in the club to be able to stay above Manchester city who is following closely to take the top position from Liverpool, Manchester City being the defending champions.


With all the men that are down and out of the team, Liverpool players are still performing at the top and best that they could, and if they continue with the current trend, it will be almost impossible for any club to overthrow them in the remaining time before the end of this season, and for sure luck is with Liverpool in this season there is no doubt about that.

Despite some sad injuries, Liverpool still win this match as expected. This winning will give them home and will serve as motivation to the entire team ahead of their Premier League title ambition. This is a great performance from Liverpool at Anfield. Liverpool is now four points ahead of Manchester City and five points ahead of Arsenal, this is a good sign that they can win the Premier League title this season.

There is a slightly different situation from Manchester City's attack pattern but in my opinion apart from them currently losing a little momentum especially with the current declining goal productivity making the situation sometimes unexpected for Manchester City.

From the attack patterns and game schemes carried out to date there is actually no problem for them, it's just that the opposing club knows that they have to survive and secure a point in a match when facing Manchester City because after all if they don't force to do that and aim for 3 points then surely it is a difficult thing. Therefore, we can only see the strength of Manchester City in terms of the quality of attack and possession of the ball but their Strikers are covered by their movements, Manchester City will experience a deadlock just like in the last few matches where when Haaland was tightly guarded they could not do much because Manchester City's fulcrum (Haaland) was limited in movement.

Considering all the injuries, that was one hell of a performance. We are not giving up on this title without a fight.

Tonight the game between Liverpool and Luton town was played and it all seemed like the big fish was going to sink at home after ensuring the first goal in the game from Luton who on their part were very much eager to create a win from the game. Before the game though, there were speculations about the teams, with Liverpool being the host adding to their caliber in the league race and other competitions too.

 They had what it takes to win the game today even though it's a much needed win for a confidence booster ahead of Chelsea's encounter over the weekend. It's really impressive that even with their past defaults in games, they were able to bounce back to win tonight. For Luton town, twas very much certain that after the first goal, they were enthusiastic about the game and the eagerness to win came alive more. It'd have been more beautiful for them to maintain that lead as it's much needed to get them outta the relegation zone.

 The team is behind the league table and so they need to gain more victory points to stay in shape this season till the end. This side are very competitive in their games and they really shouldn't be underrated as they're capable of anything that's fit to turn the game around. Well Anfield is the home ground of Liverpool and today's game wasn't supposed to be traded with. Liverpool currently deserve the victory from the day's game today and maybe they'll do same when they meet Chelsea later. But I'm certain that it'll be tough inasmuch as the Chelsea side are lagging behind in performances too overtime.

Man City always dominates matches, but unfortunately, their optimization is lacking enough to score goals. Luckily, in the end, Haaland was able to break the situation so he could score a goal. And that was the only goal.. This is really unusual when we see so many Man City attacks on Brentford, but there is only 1 goal. It's quite worrying if the condition continues like this. Because if I think about it, Brentford are also not that strong in their defense, so there is something wrong and less sharp in Man City's attack line at the moment. Indeed, when we look at Man City's strikers and forwards, there is no doubt that they are top players. However, the problem is that the effectiveness of their play and attacks has decreased significantly compared to before.

Liverpool's big win against Luton Town this time strengthened their team's position in first place. Liverpool have learned a lot more and they still have a chance to stay in first place. So it seems like they will be much more optimal and motivated to continue playing optimally.

It was good that Luton Town scored the first goal because I played over 2.5 goals for this game. Liverpool needed 2 goals in the second half to turn the game around and they did it without any difficulty. I'm sure Liverpool won't lose points against teams like Luton Town. Maybe in bigger games they might get stuck. Despite missing players like Salah, Jota and heavy rotation, they got 3 points without any accidents.

They dominated the game in the first half, too. But they couldn't get the job done and score and Luton Town can be quite stubborn. But that double strike in the second half turned the game upside down within no time and Liverpool didn't stop pressuring. There are good reasons why Liverpool has the best offense in the Premier League and what a finish would this be of the Liverpool - Klopp era if they can win the trophy?

But this is still a lot of hard work for sure and after that loss against Arsenal two weeks ago the main goal was to get back on track immediately. They have done that and now they are prepared for the English week coming up with the League Cup final and the FA Cup.
