They have not good form for years and this means Chelsea should make some changes to get better results otherwise they should just be open to getting the Europe league ticket for the next season while the Chelsea we knew in the past could even race for the Premier League title with other teams.
I think even the fans of Chelsea know their teams will be in a bad situation with the current owner they have got.

Chelsea are difficult to predict and they do it repeatedly most of my bets lost on Chelsea, even though Chelsea lost in the first leg I was sure they would turn things around in the second leg but still I won't place a bet there I don't want to be trapped anymore, Chelsea are only 1 goal behind and they can score 2-4 goals while playing at home. In the Premier League Chelsea will face Fulham, again Chelsea can still be relied on when playing at home.
Chelsea plays reliably at home, but they have difficulties even against simple teams when playing away. We saw this in the Middlesbrough match. Chelsea have been a team in difficult times in the past, but today they are still not quite there. They still have the impression of being a team that loses on the road and challenges every team at home.

Liverpool vs Fulham 1st leg Liverpool won 2-1 and the game was really interesting.

~Snipped

It was an interesting game for sure. It reminded me of the 4-3 victory Liverpool had over this same Fulham team when they took the lead at Anfield in the premier league in the 80th minute and Liverpool responded quickly through an Endo + TAA strike to win 4-3.

This EFL game gave the same vibe. Fulham were ahead for most part and Klopp changed the dynamics of the game by introducing Nunez and Gakpo.

It would've been more than two goals but I would take the win. Now, Liverpool just needs to win or draw Fulham in the return leg to seal our spot in the finals. This season is shaping up nicely for Klopp and the boys  Smiley

Mauricio Pochettino hasn't had a good performance so far in Chesle and that's why some people think they should get him fired before the January end to rebuild the team again but Chelsea is not going to do that and they prefer to keep their coach because they don't want to make the same mistake anymore.
They had the same story with Tucher Potter and that's why Chelsea is going to give Mauricio Pochettino more time.

If fired maybe the end of the season. because even the replacement coach can't do anything to make chelsea excel. the rankings and points are far behind the top 4 the champion league zone. firing also has to pay quite a lot of severance pay. because the coach's contract has not been 1 year for only a few months. if the replacement is zinedine zidane or another top coach it might be ok for long-term progress.
Chelsea at the moment is really distabilized and I think any coach brought in to the club will need a proper and straight tactics to work out an angle for this Chelsea team and even changing the coach now wouldn't be of any help although they might want to give porchettino more chances to atleast salvage something out of the season but I doubt anything gonna change. It's like roman abramovich laid a curse on the club as he was forced to sell off the club due to the Russian scandal with the world, because I remember this season and last has been maybe the most worsen season ever for the Chelsea football in this modern day football.

Liverpool vs Fulham 1st leg Liverpool won 2-1 and the game was really interesting. The game was tight from the start and Liverpool were well behind in the first half, when Fulham went ahead with a goal. Although this match is very important for both the teams that is why both the teams played exceptionally well and fought hard to win the match. However, Liverpool took control of the game in the second half and improved their performance, scoring two goals in the second half. Liverpool team attacked more in the second half compared to the first half and managed to score two successful goals which won the match. However, Fulham tried hard enough to equalize the game but could not because Liverpool can attack exceptionally well and are in their best form this season. However, Liverpool went a long way by winning the 1st leg of the semi-final match and Liverpool will surely win the next match and play more aggressively just to get to the final.

I'm an extensive Chelsea fan, but I'm always dissatisfied when I watch their league matches; both the coach and the players have this attitude that annoyed their fans because the coach will come up with insensitive lineups for tough and average opponents, while the players in question will dominate the match and, at the end of the day, they will miss goal golden opportunities and have no strong ground to fall back on. Firing Chelsea's current coach, Mauricio Pochettino, would not help to improve the club in any manner; rather, Chelsea has suffered in all levels of performance due to a lack of team unity to come together and contribute. Consistency and hard labor were replaced by injuries and tiredness.

I do disagree, i believe that chelsea need a new manager or coach to show significant changes in the clubside progress on the pitch, performance wise and also trophy wise.
You do not need a world class 11, to defeat a Middlesbrough championship side missing 10 players in the carabao cup semi final.

Making excuses for Pochetinno makes it harder for him. Meanwhile, Liverpool come back fromm a goal down to winn 2-1 at home to fulham at the other semi final of the carabao cup with goals from Curtis Jones and Gakpo
Chelsea may need a new manager but it won't be easy to get a proper coach now. It is still in the middle of the season, a new manager must adapt with the players as well. So, I think Chelsea mustn't hurry to change the manager (coach) now. If they want to change the coach, it should be after the end of the season. They need time to get good coaches, reputable coaches won't be easy to hire.

For the carabao cup, it is not over yet. Although Chelsea got a defeat with 1 goal in the first Leg, they still has the chance in second Leg. Chelsea is still possible to go to the final round and they will face Liverpool in the final match. Let's give the opportunity for Pochetinno!!

I think even the fans of Chelsea know their teams will be in a bad situation with the current owner they have got.

With the previous owner, Chelsea were able to compete top teams and to bring home many titles including Champions League if I am not mistaken. With the war and England sanctions, he was forced to leave the team and Chelsea ended up being the biggest looser. For the moment, they weren't in bad signs but far from being perfect.
I know that ownership might interfere with the performance of the team directly or indirectly via bringing unsuccessful coaches that made the team even worse in every plan. These days they are getting better but far from competing for Champions League post for example..
I think Chelsea's problems started when the club's former owner Roman Abramovic was forced to leave the club by the UK government because of the political war between Russia and Ukraine as it was reported that Abramovic was a close ally of Russian president Vladimir Putin. Since the new British owner took over, Chelsea have not been performing like the Chelsea we all know when Abramovic was still the owner.

This season, Mauricio Pochentino was brought to improve the performance of the team after two seasons of poor performances. He actually started on a good note before the team became very inconsistent again. Considering the performance of the Chelsea team, I think it'll be very difficult to see them finish the season in  the top four and that means they're very unlikely to play in the UEFA champions league competition next season

What is being discussed concerns Chelsea's defeat against Middlesbrough in the EFL Semifinal Leg 1. 1-0 is a very small score and it is likely that Chelsea will get back more than 2 goals in the 2nd leg.
Chelsea are not bad, but I think they have been inconsistent this season in maintaining their best form.
Middlesbrough is not a strong opponent for Chelsea. Yesterday's 1-0 defeat was due to luck favoring Middlesbrough.

I also don’t see it much as a problem especially considering that Chelsea will be playing at home, the score line is really not much and with just a goal everything will bee leveled. Middlesbrough will come so prepared with the intention of winning and defending their goal and Chelsea will come out fully prepared as well because it would be a slap on their face if they get Eliminated by Middlesbrough after coming this far. Chelsea might be inconsistent but they should be able to win them after two legs, they had a lot of chances to score but failed to utilize the chances.
Chelsea, of course, are still the favourites to progress from this two-legged tie and make the grand final at Wembley. I think Chelsea played themselves into this position. They could have avoided this mess they put themselves in if they converted their chances. Their performance was pockmarked by errors, shanked shots and poor finishing. Chelsea have a squad full of talented players but they do not play like a team, and have zero identity.
I think Chelsea will find a way to win in the return leg. They manage to play better at home and they have picked up more points at home than on away Soil this season. Borough will try to secure their 3 points advantage but it won’t be an easy task especially against this Chelsea side.

Chelsea must win by a margin of two goals in the second leg to qualify for the final. The second leg will take place at Stamford Bridge on January 24 and of course Borough will secure their 3-point lead or they will add points in the second leg later. The Blues actually played quite well, especially in the second half. However, they missed too many opportunities. A total of 18 shot attempts were in vain, none of which was a goal.
Losing 0-1 was certainly a blow for Mauricio Pochettino's squad. Fortunately, they have not been eliminated from the competition, and even still have a chance to win.

There's no need to have the big players on the club but the players must have a club that has good chemistry. There must be no a player that was being so wasteful. Chelsea's manager has made too many mistake and this is the main problem happened to the club.
Look at the manager, he was so selfish and he never try to listen for the complaints that have come from others or fans. This is a big blow for chelsea caused by the club was losing against a garbage club in the EPL which is unacceptable.
Pochettino one of the most important factor why chelsea lost in that game. There were too many experiments being made by the club and that's it. It will be a shame if chelsea will lose against it in the second leg.

Making excuses for Pochetinno makes it harder for him. Meanwhile, Liverpool come back fromm a goal down to winn 2-1 at home to fulham at the other semi final of the carabao cup with goals from Curtis Jones and Gakpo
Excuses is not acceptable anymore for all of fans caused by the fans are aware which mistakes being made by him in the squad. He was making somemistakes which was very unacceptable and that's it.
Im hoping that the fans can blame him caused by his mistkaes and so he will listen to fans by solving all of the problems based on the complaints.

Do you think the second leg will be easy for Chelsea? The mistake Chelsea made was allowing them to win the first leg even though the goal difference is not that much. Middlesbrough will want to play a defensive game in the second leg of the match, they will want to do everything possible to stop Chelsea from scoring. What I am expecting from Middlesbrough in the second leg is just a pure defensive game, but let’s see how the match goes. Chelsea should be able to win in the second leg of the match.

Betting over 2.5 on the 2nd leg of the EFL semi-final at home to Chelsea is a rational choice according to my analysis. Some may not dare to bet on Chelsea winning because Chelsea's performance has fluctuated. But for me, betting on Chelsea winning is a very likely chance to win.
Definitely, everyone will be scared to place a bet on Chelsea to win due to their unstable performance this season. Chelsea are unpredictable, they are just full of surprises this season, but I also think Chelsea should be able to win their second match, am also going to place bet on Chelsea to win, with just little amount of money.
If you are scared that Chelsea are going to lose the game, why not place the bet against Chelsea. This the odd for Chelsea to lose that game is going to be big and you know Chelsea has been losing lots of games this season. Chelsea must not win a game before you win a bet.
I also get a little confused when betting on a team you believe will lose. but if you still place a bet, you should bet on the team that you think will win.

But whatever it is, in my personal opinion, in the second leg Chelsea will definitely be able to recover. The reason is that in the first leg, victory was not actually in Chelsea's favor, Palmer and his friends had so many opportunities. But it's not quite the goal yet. In that match, Middlesbrough just waited for a counterattack and managed to take advantage of the opportunity to score a goal against Chelsea. However, the second leg will be played at Chelsea's home ground so there is a big possibility that Chelsea can make a comeback and score two goals to qualify for the next match because I am sure Chelsea will prioritize this EFL cup.

Chelsea's first leg match was very disappointing even though their opponents were a weak team, even in the Championship, Middlesbrough was ranked 12th in the standings. In this match, Chelsea actually had many opportunities to equalize the score or make a comeback after Middlesbrough scored a goal by Hayden Hackney in the first half, but Chelsea were unlucky in this match.

Chelsea are not in good form. Chelsea have lost to clubs there even weaker than Middlesbrough, so therefore I was not much surprised to see this result, although we all know that Chelsea had many chances to win but they failed to do that, which was very disappointing to them because the team was not even strong enough to score that first goal. In the fact that they were lucky enough to score that goal, I was thinking that Chelsea would make a return and give us a positive result after the match, but things don’t go that way.

They have not good form for years and this means Chelsea should make some changes to get better results otherwise they should just be open to getting the Europe league ticket for the next season while the Chelsea we knew in the past could even race for the Premier League title with other teams.

I do not understand what both of you are talking about. I mean even Chelsea management themselves know that Chelsea is bad, all the Chelsea fans can attest to this very fat that Chelsea has not been what they used to be since two seasons ago, even the current Chelsea coach can tell you that Chelsea team is very bad. So what are you both trying to justify, that a ligue 1 club Middlesbrough hard to score Chelsea and win the match that lasted for more than 90 minutes and you are here saying that Chelsea is good, that they will come back in the second leg.

Well, the best thing to do about Chelsea condition is to stop considering them as a big team for now until they prove us wrong. Do not expect anything much from Chelsea this season at least they should end up in top 10 of the English Premier League and not get a relegated it is okay for them.

This current Chelsea squad are seriously too young for any coach to have an immediate impact on. The injuries are piling up and it is disorganizing the whole style of play of any coach will have intended. Pochettino isn’t that a world class coach to me but still wouldn’t blame him all for this current mess the club is into. His decision making sometimes mostly during substitutions are somehow bizarre but the club overall is in trouble. They need a good recruitment team and not just signing any player.

Pochettino time at PSG we’re mixed, he actually did won some trophies but the major reason he lost his job just like the likes of Tuchel by failing to win the champions league. The same case that is happening to  Chelsea now is the same that is happening to PSG they lack better recruitment department and only recruit players base on the name they players had and not base on a club structure
Of course Chelsea need time to show significant changes in their progress. If any coach is faced with the situation experienced by Chelsea, they will definitely need time to restore glory to Chelsea, so in conditions like this, management must give Pochettino time to polish the squad to be strong in the second half of this season. Last season, Chelsea performance was quite bad, even in the last summer transfer window they made quite big changes to the team by recruiting many young players and selling many of their players.

Therefore, Chelsea management has made a lot of efforts to build the team and the fans must be patient to see Chelsea impressive performance in the Premier League. So in this situation of course the coach needs time in his work so it is not surprising that Chelsea have not been able to recover this season because they are not well organized enough in their game.

I think Man City is still a strong team but they just can't play consistently as the previous season. Sure, losing Gundogan and Mahrez makes Man City to play weaker, but they still can deal with the situation if all they key players are available. What makes them to play worse is some key players injured for a long time (Haaland, De Bruyne, Rodri). Now, De Bruyne and Rodri have recovered, we can see they can play better in the last few matches. If Haaland can recover faster, we can expect that Man City to return to the top of EPL standings again. You must realize the point gap between the top 4 isn't really far, Man City is still possible to win the title.

I still don't read the news that Man City bought new players. But it will be great if they improve their squad with new players. Man City needs better players in defense line. Specifically for left and right backs, they new players in these positions. I think the current players are no longer very competitive, Man City must plan to change them.
I think the most impostant players for Manchester city now are De Bruyne and Rodri. Without these two, they look not well-organized team at attacking and defending counter-attacks. The recent return of of De Bruyne and Rodri has already shown improvements in their gameplay, and if Haaland can recover quickly, it could indeed bolster their chances of reclaiming the top spot in the Premier League.

While the point gap in the top 4 isn't insurmountable, I'd like to point out that the competition in the Premier League is fierce, and every match is crucial. Having key players back in the lineup is undoubtedly a positive sign for City's title ambitions. Regarding new player acquisitions, strengthening the defensive line sounds like a reasonable strategy. Maybe they need to play with natural fulbacks instead of Centerbacks, like Gvardiol or Ake, to play wide. A solid defense is often the foundation for success in any competition.
