I don’t think Pochettino has the talent to solve Chelsea problems because if he were able to do that, he would have already done that. He has spent time sometimes managing the squad and has yet to see any improvement from them. Chelsea have bought so many players; they have spent a lot of money on players, and there is no improvement. However, I think for us to know how good Chelsea is, we should wait maybe and see if they will change manager, and then we may see who is at fault, whether the players or the coach. but seriously, Chelsea's form is poor. However, I think it is disappointing for them to lose that match they play, even if they had chances to win and they didn't. The result matters.
Everything requires a long process and time, it is not easy to build a team like Chelsea which has fallen so badly that changes in management and almost all the players mean that everything has to start from scratch.
Pochettino is a coach who has good qualities and he has proven it when he managed several teams before managing the Chelsea team, so in my opinion we should trust Pochettino and believe in the process that Pochettino will create to make Chelsea return to what it was before.
This coach has consistently underperformed, showing no desire to win and always comfortable with losses. Pochettino has failed to bring improvement to Chelsea, and the team appears to be getting worse under his management. It's evident that the current project is destined for failure under him. Chelsea needs to change its system to progress, or else they will continue to struggle.

Chelsea are really difficult to understand. How could you manage to be this ineffective at scoring goals while dominating a game? They even lost the game I mean.  Sad  They should be thankful that the matchup is comprised of two legs. Otherwise they were already going to say goodbye to the EFL Cup which is probably the only tournament in which they can win the title.

But after watching this performance I don't think they would be able to beat probably Liverpool in the finale. Liverpool will be likely to have Salah back in the squad until the finale of the EFL Cup so Liverpool would be the winner of the cup I think.
By seeing how Chelsea played in the last match, I am increasingly convinced that Chelsea will also fail in the EFL Cup. Even if in the second leg they can turn things around and qualify for the final. But facing Liverpool will definitely be very difficult for Chelsea with their current performance. But Chelsea will be lucky if Liverpool lose so shockingly to Fullham today.

But Liverpool should have won today's match against Fullham. Because the strength levels of the two are also clearly different. Unless Klopp decides not to prioritize the EFL Cup and not play with their main players. So of course Fullham has a chance to win.

Livervool's match against Fulham in the Carabao Cup will be an interesting match because both of them, after each winning in the third round of the Carabao Cup, Liverpoon won against Arsenal 2-0 and Fulham won 1-0 against Rotherham, both teams won. And now both of them will try to win again in the first round of the semifinals.
However, in this match Liverpool will have the advantage because they will be the hosts, even though in this match Liverpool will lose Trent Alexander Arnold and Mohamed Salah. However, Virgil Van Dijk, after missing yesterday's match due to illness, is now ready to play against Fulham to strengthen Liverpool's defense.
Apart from that, an interesting fact ahead of Liverpool vs Fulham, recently Liverpool managed to win five of their last six home matches against Fulham in all competitions. And he is also in very good form which allowed Liverpool to win this game.

I think the EFL finals should be a game that Chelsea should try their best on so that they can win Liverpool and win the cup, at least if they can achieve this, I wouldn't criticize them anymore till next season, if they continue with their poor performance. The only problem that Chelsea might have on the final match is scoring goals, since they don't have a good, vibrant goal machine.

Liverpool is very strong now and I don't think that they will give Chelsea that chance to win the finals because Klopp will not take any chances. Sallah will be present to threaten Chelsea's defense. It seems as if Liverpool might win two trophies this season.

Most likely Chelsea lost the game yesterday night as they need to be fully focused on the Premier League yet this is not a justification for them to lose against a team which plays in a lower division.Middlesborough was really motivated and played a very good game yesterday night and well done to them.Chelsea is in trouble overall as they are not performing in a consistent winning mentality, they win and lose and this has left them in middle of the table.

It was an interesting match, I think there was no problem with the Chelsea players being motivated for the match. They just had a bit of an unlucky day and couldn't score. When you look at the statistics, you can see that Chelsea played better and dominated the match in this match. But a team that cannot score has no chance of winning the match. Chelsea also became a team that could not score a goal

Damn again and again Chelsea made me lose some money and destroyed the series of bets I had, these losses were quite annoying.
They only played against teams from the Championship League but still lost and of course many of their fans or bettors felt disappointed.
If you look at the performance of the two teams, it is clear that Chelsea is superior, but on the field Chelsea playing quality is quite poor, they were able to dominate the match but failed to score goal.
From here it might give you feeling of skepticism towards them.
It's a mistake to not replace Palmer with other striker, he already got three big chances, but wasted all of them. Although Chelsea play really well, I don't feel they will qualify for final since they don't have any good striker. Broja, Sterling, Palmer, Madueke, etc are just B class players.

Isn't shame Chelsea lose against mediocre team in Championship? Cheesy

I guess the next match Middlesbrough will play defensive and end in draw.
Chelsea dominated the game but squandered a host of chances, with Cole Palmer particularly wasteful. Now Middlesbrough now have a slender advantage ahead of the return meeting at Stamford Bridge, then Chelsea can get the chance to right the wrongs in two week's time when they host the replay. I think Chelsea are even very lucky that the goal difference isn’t much. They will have the chance to put things right in the second leg. If the result of this match doesn't make you want to sign a world class striker I don't know what will. Honestly no team will win anything with players who can't finish.

The big mystery of this game is how Palmer didn't score a goal.
Let's say the one-on-one when Palmer scored can be understood, the first dangerous situation, the sudden pass from the opponent and a little bit he didn't hit, but the moment where the Middlesbrough goalkeeper dropped the ball under Palmer's feet and he didn't score I replayed it several times, because it's much harder to score there than not to score. It's impossible to understand how he got into the goal, it was 100% the moment. After that apparently Palmer could not score anymore, every time the camera got on his face it was obvious that he himself does not understand how he did not score in this match.

It was exactly what I expected and Chelsea couldn't come away with a win.Middlesbrough's coming all the way here had a significance and Chelsea have always been hesitant about their performances against such teams. We saw it again yesterday and I was expecting a draw but Chelsea's defeat didn't surprise me.Even though Middlesbrough played a dominant game, we can say that it was a match where the one who scored the goal won, not the one who played dominant and well.
Dominating a match is not always good if you can't score goals. And a team that does not dominate the game but has good observation in finding gaps in the opponent and then makes attacks with a good level of accuracy and scores goals is the best. Chelsea they are indeed playing well but they are still bad at making the final solution of every attack they build. So Chelsea's defeat did not surprise many people because they were already in a condition that many people did not expect this season. Their inconsistent conditions have really made other people watching always skeptical about the matches they are playing. And yes, in the end their defeat was not so disappointing because some people had expected something like this.

But Pochettino in this case also cannot be blamed because strategically we can see that the Chelsea squad has been able to penetrate the opponent's defense well. And many opportunities have been created but they just failed to take advantage of the opportunities they had.
It's been an unresolved fact for a long time that Chelsea have a problem with finishing.Pochettino hasn't figured out how to fix it yet and if he can't fix it for a few more weeks, his job will get harder.I don't think he can continue in the team for much longer. Even though they played a dominating football in this match, Middlesbrough managed to win the match.Chelsea's squad quality and squad is really good but they have become a team that cannot use it.Pochettino and Chelsea may not be a good match for each other, we can understand this when the same squad is in place and another manager comes in.

Chelsea lost to Middlesbrough in the EFL cup. Ouch! Cole Palmer missed a sitter. Chelsea just cant get things right this season.

Chelsea lost in Middlesbrough's home ground. It was very disappointing to see the way the game ended. Cole Palmer missed several chances to win the match, and if he hadn't missed them, Chelsea would have scored and possibly scored more than one goal. As a result of Palmer's missed opportunities yesterday, many fans started to view him as a bad player who isn't good, but praising him more than any other Premier League player whenever he scored.

I thought Chelsea was better than Manchester United at this point, but I was completely wrong. Chelsea still has issues with their performance, they underestimated Middlesbrough and started the match without a striker. Pochettino brought Broja on in the second half, but they are still unable to equalize the score. Even though Chelsea still has the second leg left to play, maybe they can take advantage of playing at home to win. Chelsea still wants to finish the season without winning a trophy, they have the chance to do it with the EFL Cup, but they are failing to take it.

Chelsea's next Premier League game is against Fulham, after losing to Middlesbrough in the EFL Cup, I believe Chelsea will still have hard time in their next Premier League game because Fulham is currently playing highly well at this point.

Underestimate- nothing
Manchester United vs Tottenham will be the most anticipated match this week in addition to some matches that might run quite balanced like between Brighton vs Wolves.
Manchester United will always be in doubt especially facing Tottenham who are much better than them this season at least that's what can be seen in how Manchester United has suffered 9 defeats while Tottenham are only 5x in 20 matches, Tottenham managed to score 42 goals while United only 22 goals and worse more conceded than goals scored by United.
The home factor is also not an advantage for Manchester United because this season has lost at least 4x at home and only 1 difference with 5x away defeats. This will be a difficult match for both but Tottenham although not the favored team will have a chance to get a point, their obstacle may be that Son has to defend his country in the Asian Cup so he will not play even though he is quite the foundation of Tottenham so far, so there may be weaknesses in their appearance later.
I don't like forecasting games like this because if you want to make a prediction, I know Manchester United will lose against Tottenham since they lost their last two games against Aston Villa and Nottingham very amusing they only won against wigan in the FA cup. Sincerely, this game will be a struggle for Manchester United, who are now in eighth place, and for Newcastle, who are always very near in terms of position and have become unserious at the same time. Newcastle now has their own threat in the form of Manchester City. And I have a bad feeling about that game between the city and Newcastle.

Tottenham was on its path to winning the Premier League title at the start of the season, but that journey has since ended, but in the long term, I still believe Manchester United will be burned. And this season's Premier League is as perplexing as the clubs themselves. Aston Villa is now in second place, but the hand of God will soon touch them. I also smell a draw or a straight win for Tottenham in this encounter.

Chelsea manager Mauricio Pochentino really needs to step his games if he wants to continue his job at the club because his tactical approaches since the start of the season haven't actually worked well for him. Yesterday against Middlesbrough, I expected Chelsea to win that game convincingly even when they were playing as the away team because the quality of players in the Chelsea set up is absolutely better than that of their EFL semi final opponents.

The good thing about the result of yesterday for Chelsea is that they have a chance of making up for that poor result by making sure they win Middlesbrough with a better result than that of the home side's result of yesterday and qualify for the final of the competition.

Chelsea is not doing well at all. At least in the English premiere league. They are in the 10th position right now and even though they have been able to win the last two matches they are not in a good situation right now. They have a lot of hard matches to play and remember it has not been half of the season yet. They have played only 20 matches. So they will have to play for a long period of time with a lot of consistency. And they cannot be inconsistent in that period of time.

Anyway, I think it is going to be very hard for them to actually get to the top of the table again. The point difference is a lot, to be honest. And the defending has not been good from them at all. They are one of the teams that has conceded the most amount of goals this season. So it surely is looking hard for them. I am not very confident about the coach also.

These are all important things you mentioned, the performance doesn't always coincide with the results. But in the case of Arsenal the problem is that they didn't lose one game or weren't successful two games or so. They have had a series of games now that ended with a bad result. It begs the question whether they are just not lucky enough, always performing well and yet don't win or whether they have an issue that must be resolved? If coincidence repeats itself numerous times, I think as per definition it isn't called coincidence anymore.
What happened to Arsenal was of course that they were quite weak on their front line. If they had a striker like Harry Kane of course they could overcome their weaknesses, but in reality they don't have a striker who is truly productive in scoring goals. Gabriel jesus is certainly a good quality player but he doesn't have good enough productivity to keep scoring goals.

For this reason, I think Arteta must buy a high-quality striker in this transfer market. He must close the gaps in the team if he wants to bring Arsenal to the championship this season. Other teams have players who are very fertile in scoring goals, such as Liverpool which has Salah and Manchester City which has Haaland. If arteta is interested in osimhen he should send an offer to napoli because chelsea also wants to sign osimhen.

I think the striker position is the weakest spot within their squad. They need someone who has this killer instinct and as you mentioned, Harry Kane would have been such a player. But everyone knows that the calibre like Harry Kane is, is rarely available in the transfer market. Real Madrid had huge problems finding someone to replace Benzema. They had been lucky enough that Benzema was thriving when Ronaldo left. But when Real Madrid has problems to get a top striker, Arsenal does of course have problems to find one or to convince a player to go there.

The faith for Chelsea winning the match was datched out by the players who obviously missed alot of chances to make that goal record that could have put Chelsea in the best possible position to have won the match, but with the level of missed chances during the match, it further pushes us to the point to conclude that Chelsea as a club has lost it position as the one-time champions who have delivered and expected to recover asap from the previous crisis that has rocked the club for some time now which have resulted into this current players demotivation.
Many of Chelsea fans have given up on the club's ability to make something good out of this season, and just like the last season, no hope of recovery for the club as it stance right now, Chelsea is gradually losing out, and the speed at which that is happening is quite alarming.

As the performance of the Chelsea team is very erratic. So it is difficult to say when this team will win any match. Chelsea have yet to win against a team like Middlesburg in the EFL Cup. Chelsea's squad is not weak at all. They are strong enough and play well. But Chelsea's match strategy is not good. So the Chelsea team is not able to dominate even against relatively weak teams. Chelsea may try to strengthen their squad in the winter transfer window. But I would say Chelsea need a more experienced coach right now. Unless the coach is experienced, there is very little change in Chelsea's situation.

Chelsea will play against Fulham in the next Premier League match. Fulham team is also relatively weak. Even then, it is not certain whether Chelsea will win.

Mahrez was actually a junk player in there since he was barely given enough playtime..Maybe for the fact that he's African? Guardiola knows best... But I think having Alvarez and Grealish both paired would improve the effectiveness on the flanks.. it all depends on the formation though - a standard 4-3-3 formation would also link them both, allowing debryune and halland to communicate directly.

Sandra 🧑‍🦰
Mahrez a junk player? Really? I don't think you have sat down and watched Mahrez right from when he was at Leicester City, I means the man was on fire and he also contributed to the success of Leicester lifting the EPL trophy, that was why Pep bought him and he became an effective too for the Citizens.
The player you called a junk player has a total of 78 goals and 58 assist during his 5yrs at the club and you think he's a junk player? Well you need to go back and watch him, I feel you are saying that because he's an African and you don't want to acknowledge his efforts.
When you say something about pairing, you made mentioned of Alvarez and Grealish, to me I don't see those two as best to make oppositions feel threatened, if you're talking about best pairing I'd say Doku and Alvarez or Doku and Phil Foden.
If Pep is starting the front 3 it should be Doku on the left, Alvarez as the striker and Foden on the right flank, these guys have more force that would produce goals in a game than Grealish in that selection.
To me Grealish is just another player you should be calling a junk player because he likes being fouled, he also kills counter attacks, so I prefer Doku to him and if Mahrez was to be in that City team now I'd prefer him over Grealish. If not for the money I don't think Grealish would still be playing regularly for Man City.

But I have doubts about Tottenham's performance without their captain, Son. Because so far Son's contribution has really been the most for Tottenham. So if Tottenham play without Son it will be quite a big difference. Especially if Maddison hasn't returned. So Tottenham will clearly have difficulty playing against Manchester United.

Maybe we really can't trust Man United this season. Even when they play at home. Everyone still doubts their performance which has been very, very inconsistent this season. This is very different from Spurs, who this season have amazed everyone with their performance. But Tottenham without Maddison has gone into decline. And then they bounced back thanks to Son. But now they will likely compete without Son. So this will clearly really make Spurs fall again. I am now unsure which team will be my favorite in this match.

Many fans are simply used to Manchester City winning the premier league in the last three seasons, not four. They failed to remember how Manchester City made fierce efforts to come out on top for the championship. It was never a simple ride.

Last season it was Arsenal who started to lead before Manchester City was catching up in the last matches of that season. And before the last season, Manchester City outpointed Liverpool by only a single point to win the championship.

There are many matches left and this condition for Manchester City is not new to them. I am certain Pep Guardiola is aware and he will bring some help if it is essential. Manchester City was greatly impacted by the prolonged absence of KDB, but he is back.

That season, when Liverpool was only one point behind, can only formally be called “close” competition - in fact, the entire season City was in the lead by a large margin, and Liverpool, having lost many points at the start, tried to catch up. In the end, they were unable to catch up and only reduced the difference to a minimum, but the title was in City's pocket all the way. In the Arsenal situation, City's gap to Arsenal was indeed large at certain moments, but even at these moments the bookmakers rated City as favorites - this says a lot about the degree of City's dominance.

Smart is not enough, there must be skills
Maybe Chelsea lost on purpose and won't win the next return game either... They have a very serious schedule of next matches... After Middlesbrough they have games with Aston Villa and Liverpool... So I wouldn't be surprised if they lose again...
I think this is not a deliberate defeat but the completion of their attack is still less than optimal, so this defeat is very unnatural actually because their opponent is a championship team that should be able to win, but unfortunately they lost even though I was confident with the bet. Lol

The busy schedule I feel Chelsea is not sure to win, this team still lacks a lot for the attack line especially their defense is still quite weak that's what I see.
Well the same, I won't be surprised if Chelsea lose because with Middlesbrough they can lose how about a tough team.
