Manchester United does not have a good balance when the opponent attacks them, they find it difficult to maintain the balance of their defense line well in this match. The defeat at home is certainly very disappointing because they get full support from the fans but they failed in this match. I expected Tottenham to win the game but Bournemouth was composed and focused. It was a brilliant all round performance by Bournemouth as they successfully kept Tottenham at bay. Both Manchester teams definitely caused a lot of shock without a doubt. I mean neither are shocking anymore at the same time as well lol, we are getting used to seeing City not win, I assumed they would win against Palace but they failed that too, I do not know what the yare going to do about it, but so far they haven't figured out what to do to make it any better. And about United we are seeing that its getting to a point where its not that easy for them, losing yet another game, sure they are giving Amorim some time because he is just starting out, but its definitely not promising at all, I still feel like they are not going to get any better and Amorim won't be able to make this team change, even next season.

After a shocking defeat to Nottingham Forest, the Red Devils found themselves in 13th position on the English Premier League table. The fans have already starts to murmured due to the current poor stats recorded by the club in recent past weeks. Unlike Manchester United, they just have to bounce back to winning games because that's the only evident features to stand well. Ruben Amorim suffers another back to back defeat at Old Trafford. This is a sign about his incompetence for the managerial role? Let’s hope this is simply a phase because Manchester United have not been the same since the dismissal of Ruud van Nistelroy. The new manager is striving for greatness but yet to spot out his team’s weakness. This is definitely the factor that would restrict him from reaching top level in the English premier league.

I don’t even know where Manchester United want again, we all know how good Amorim is, before this loss today Amorim have not lost a home match since February 2023 and he lost today at Old trafford. I think the win against Everton was never a test for him, he lost to Arsenal with a poor performance and also lost again today with another poor performance. Set pieces continue to be a problem under his spell, Manchester United have conceded 5 set pieces goal since he came in. It a new project and every project needs time but when u loss matches like this you lose confidence and the fans also loose Confidence in you. Next league match is their struggling neighbor Manchester City so let see how he prepares his team before then, he has beaten Manchester city already this season with sporting let see if he can do it again with Manchester United.

It is clear that Amorim will not be able to change anything radically this season, since Amorim is working with what they have and took over the team in the middle of the season. I think everyone understands that, but nevertheless a series of bad results could put him under a lot of pressure. United have five games ahead of them against City, Newcastle and Liverpool, and two relatively easy games. How many points do they need to get here to seriously improve their position? Probably at least 10, but is that realistic? But otherwise United will continue to be in the second half of the standings.
Good results are needed from Amorim now.

The main problem is that Manchester United fans hyped Amorim too much; they used his previous team as a reference point to tell the world that he is a better coach than almost all the coaches in the Premier League, and that is why expectations are high. Many people, including Manchester United fans are expecting Amorim to make things work in Manchester United as quickly as possible, which is not possible because he needs a lot of time to adapt to the Premier League pattern and his players.


Kevin De Bruyne has aged and he is not performing to his best now; that is why I keep telling people that Rodri is the main man in Manchester City's midfield, and he is all they are missing, which is the main reason they never get stability. Manchester United already knows that their have lost out in this season despite the amount of time that is still available in this season, their ability to rebaunce back is very low and to that, we may likely see a more declining performance much more than the one we have seen presently, and in the next transfer windows in January, hope the club make some serious amendment to help resuscitate the club against the remaining time in this season and next season.

Amorim is a talented coach. However, Amorim is not very experienced. Amorim has proven his ability with Sporting. With the help of Amorim, Sporting has been able to perform very well in the last few seasons.

If Amorim is given enough time, he may be able to stabilize the Manchester United team. However, the overall condition of Manchester United is very bad now. The bonding between the players is very weak. If Manchester United wants to improve the overall situation, Amorim must be given enough time and funds. Manchester United's performance is unlikely to improve much this season. Manchester United's fans will be happy if Manchester United can stay in the top 6 of the table. However, even getting into the top 6 of the table is a big challenge for Manchester United.

Judging by the previous coach, Amorim will have time to experiment   But at the moment the results are still as bad. I made a multi-bet today where both Manchesters had to at least not lose, but only City managed to do so. United's result surprised me incredibly. Nottingham have had a great first third of the season but United should not lose at home like this. By the way, there could well be a draw in the derby, after all, City is in deep crisis, it seems to me that they have even lost their championship mentality.

Formation or not this man is surrounded by pressure, not from the players or the owners of UTD but pressure from himself. He thinks he can change everything about UTD as soon as he start coaching but he is forgetting something that the league is a very different and hard league so things can't be done in a second and I always see him as the other manager ETH. You'd agree with me that Amorim is some how following ten Heg's foot steps. Facing Man City is never going to be easy with how both teams are struggling especially Man City. I believe that any team can beat City but not Man UTD, Pep won't allow Amorim beat him with Sporting and defeat him again with Man UTD. I just have that feeling that Manchester City will use Man UTD to pick their form and start their journey to get hold of the title.

True, Amorim still needs experience to be successful in the Premier League, because with this formation, maybe Amorim also still does not have much experience in the Premier League so he still applies three defenders like that. I watched the game, and it's true as you said, Nottingham played better than Man United. Nottingham may have lost possession of the ball, but they had better collectiveness than their opponents.
