Westham defeated Arsenal yesterday, to make it three consecutive wins in the Premier League without conceding a goal in those three matches. Westham had a very tough schedule, playing Manchester United and Arsenal in the space of six days, Westham defeated both Manchester United and Arsenal to make it to the top six in the Premier League table. I think Westham's head coach (David Moyes) deserves the December Premier League best manager
West Ham United seems to have figured out how to defend against Arsenal. Arteta's lineup, formation, tactics, and especially his substitutions have become quite predictable. Arsenal made a mistake in their formation, and West Ham took advantage of it, mercilessly defeating them. Arsenal's performance was very poor, and they were slow in their build-up to attack. West Ham strategically had many defenders in the middle, making it extremely difficult for Arsenal to score.
Arsenal literally struggled around west ham yesterday, they literally couldn't penetrate the defense line of west ham, even after the first goal in the first half where I was beginning to think it will cause Arsenal to be awakened and want to win but they were still slow and didn't do any better regardless.West ham now seem to have understood Arsenal so well and did prepared against Arsenal's defense line while theirs was kept intact as well, west Hams victory yesterday was deserving as they did played so well enough to have won that game, this is a valid indication that what happened to Arsenal last season may repeat it self again this season as they may be unable to win the league title after getting to the top a few times, Arteta needs to be a dynamic and not repeating same style and pattern to the point he turns out very much predictable.
I was initially confident in Arsenal before the match started saying the Gunners would definitely win because this was playing at home, unfortunately this did not become the desired expectation even though of course I bet Arsenal but the results were disappointing at the hands of West Ham.

It wasn't a match we could see all the time. West Ham played very well, they also missed a penalty, they actually had the chance to score three goals. I'm not even counting the other positions they found. But it was a really unlucky day for Arsenal, they played too much possession and tried to attack too much but they never scored. Normally, when there are so many goal attempts, we expect them to score at least 1 goal
But this would not consider the true strength of both teams in that game. Arsenal was the far better team, but football is a game about results and the team that wins is always right so to say. But as part of the analysis it should be said that West Ham didn't dominate Arsenal or anything like that. West Ham turned very little into very big whereas Arsenal did it vice versa. They had a lot of chances, but they didn't score goals. The penalty at the end of the game was rather meaningless, but still. If someone showed you all the game statistics without goals scored, I think hardly anyone would think that this game ended 0-2.

None of the title contenders is out of the race, the Premier League is never won in December as there are still so many points to play for. Arsenal would be disappointed with the result last night, but it is what it is and they have to get over it and focus on Fulham on Sunday. Quite a lot of people said that City are in a crisis, but if you look at the table, you'd see that they are not even far away from the top, Arsenal and Liverpool would know how good City are when the title race is in its final stages and if they couldn't top City with a lot of points now that they are wobbling, when they get to their best, they'd be impossible to stop.
City just missed out on a few games and it might look like they've dropped too low in the table, but if they win the game they missed, they'll move up to second place and be just a point behind Liverpool.I will also say that City often are in optimal shape towards the end of the season, I have noticed this for several seasons in a row, Guardiola calculates the strength of the players very well and it becomes very difficult to fight with such a team. If we remember last season, Arsenal failed at the end, perhaps Arteta will draw conclusions this time.

Arsenal and Aston Villa have dropped points in their last two matches. This match was very important for Arsenal. If they win this match, they would have occupied the top spot in the points table. So true, the main weakness of club that was playing offensively was low block. By making Arsenal play upfront, it will create an opportunity for West Ham to have an advantage as most of their players will be going up. By providing additional opportunities, the counterattack has a greater likelihood of achieving success. It's my first time to see that arsenal was very struggling to score even a single goal.

Because the defense department of the Arsenal team was also careless, due to which they were able to score very easily, only 13 minutes later, the West Ham United team was ahead by scoring the first goal.
If I see Arsenal need a striker, Eddie and Jesus cannot lead this team. Arsenal needs a goal-hungry striker so that Arsenal have no difficulty scoring goals. Because it is very useless if in a match Arsenal is superior in everything including possession of the ball but they have difficulty scoring goals, maybe after this match Arteta will bring in a great striker in the transfer market later. There's no guarantee having a new striker will make arsenal to perform even better. It may also become a boomerang for arsenal soon. Arsenal has been linked to the toney but it seems arteta is still willing to think for twice before try to sign him as a new player.
Arteta needs to take a very long time to consider whether he will be buying the new striker or not. The point I was trying to convey is that Arsenal's performance in the match against West Ham was not up to par, especially when it came to Saka and his wastefulness despite having the most opportunities.

However, I think that Arenal, Liverpool and also Manchester City have enough strength to compete for the title and it is possible for these teams to be able to compete until the end of the season. This season is still very long and all possibilities are still possible.
Arsenal were just too focused on building attacks and they were careless with their own defense. Meanwhile, West Ham are very smart because they focus on defending solidly and waiting for their opponents to let their guard down in defense. And it worked. and quite a lot of people use strategies like this. But the funny thing is that Arsenal doesn't seem to be used to the strategy used by their opponents. The first goal from West Ham what I saw was a defender's mistake that could not be anticipated properly, maybe it was an inappropriate position but West Ham players were always ready in front of Arsenal's goal so this goal happened without Arsenal defenders.
The second goal from the cornerback was also actually difficult, it's just that the position of the West Ham player was right to take the header to become a goal, of course David Raya was out of step with this goal and difficult to stop.

Brighton had a very good run in their game yesterday with Tottenham. I’ve always thought highly of Brighton and I did think they were going to perform a lot better this season. While they’re yet not performing up to what I had hoped this season, their performance yesterday was quite impressive. They didn’t relent in their attacks as they scored 4 goals. Two goals gotten from a penalty kick but goals nevertheless. Spurs rose to the challenge late in the game as they tried hard to equalize scoring only two goals late in the game.

Apart from that, I think this problem is not too obvious because we should not just look at one match, but at the overall match played by Arsenal, they sometimes have a good performance up front.

Arsenal, who played against Liverpool with a score of 1-1, I thought would give Arsenal the lead, but in reality, Arsenal had to suffer the shame of losing 0-2 and in the first half, West Ham took the lead through T. Soucek's goal and I thought that in the second half, Arsenal would made a goal back but in fact in the 2nd half K. Mavropanos added the score for West Ham. To be honest, I also failed in betting on Arsenal's victory this time. I predict that Arsenal has the potential to drop in ranking because I am sure that tomorrow Aston Villa will play against Burnley and I am sure that Aston Villa will win and will shift Arsenal's position. However, if Aston Villa loses, I think there is great potential for Manchester City to move up the rankings if Manchester City wins the match against Sheff Utd.

It is also dissappointing that Totthenham which you also mentioned here lose theirs in the hands of Briton who were so better in their display last night.It is now becoming hard for Arteta to win WestHam, because it was this same team that eliminated Arsenal from the Carling cup final.,and I wonder how Arsenal would allow them win them just like that.It is now very clear and open that any team between Liverpool,Arsenal, Mancity can win the premier league,but I doubt if Arsenal will be able to win this again,they are now beginning to flop again as they normally do,and as far as I'm concerned,there is nothing special about this Arsenal team,they are becoming weak in their play,their front line is no longer sharp because Saka and Martinelli aren't getting goals again.At the end of the day,the race will be between Mancity and Liverpool.
