Everton's performance during this season was well enough but didn't you know Everton's owners are not in a good situation and this team is not in a good situation. There is even a chance for Everton to get relegated in this season because of that. I think if they really care about Everton, they should find a new owner and chairman for this team before it gets too late.
If Everton could keep up with the others teams like they did against Fulham tonight in EFL Cup. They were one goal behind then managed to get the draw and goes to penalties up to 7 tries before the defeat. At least they tried their best.
Everton had been in difficulty in the last two seasons and continues with that rhythm this season until they invest cleverly to improve the team.

In the other matches of EFL Cup, Newcastle were leading the whole time by one goal until extra time Chelsea scored and penalties were in favour of Chelsea! A very bad ending for Newcastle in that competition. I expect them to invest in this winter transfer window to improve the squad and their results.

So Chelsea have successfully manage to squeeze out a win from their cup tie against Newcastle. It was quite a game though but at first didn't expect Chelsea to actually qualify at the hands of Newcastle united but it seems Newcastle united are still struggling although they they had a comfortable win against Fulham during their weekend clash but this night was not good for them as Chelsea manage to equalized their first half lead and win the game on penalties.

Everton can still save themselves from relegation this season, especially when I saw that Everton was able to win at home to Burnley yesterday which has kept Everton safe from the relegation zone for a while. However, if Everton still wants to continue their current performance, there are several things that need to be considered for the good of their own team. And one of them is what you said because I think Everton is a pretty good team even though they don't often get good results in the Premier League.
There's something certain about Everton, they barely lose at Goodison Park stadium this season, their home ground have become very promising and the atmosphere favorable for Everton. There are clubs that are good when critical events happen to them, Everton would have been in the top 10 spot on the EPL table this season, they just have to do whatever it takes to ensure they're on the safer path because bearing the heavy punishment was a big burden on the Toffees. Everton have escape the relegation zone this season with improved performance from the players in addition with formation lay out from by Sean Dyche this season.

Everton is in good form and they have already overcome their 10-point deduction from the Premier League. If not for the 10-point deduction, Everton could have been in the 10th position in the Premier League table.
Everton really need balancing against next season because this 10 points deduction really draw them back and I am quite sure that points deduction affected their performance and reduced their expectations on the way they plan the season but with their courage and consistency they are able to get out from relegation zone which they are moving up gradually with a seven points away from relegation zone if luton town win their outstanding match against Newcastle united then it will reduce the points to four but is it possible luton town to win Newcastle united, but who knows luton town are very strong at home.
Speaking of Everton's performance this season I actually feel they are still better than before, despite the current reduction in points, the fact is that their performance is still very much maintained at this time and managed to get back out of the relegation zone after a reduction of 10 points although currently the position is still not comfortable but it has shown that their performance has improved compared to the previous few seasons.
Dyche's arrival actually gave a breath of fresh air compared to some of their previous coaches although it is possible they still cannot return to the mid-table but at least at this time they are still quite good in terms of performance and now they just have to be able to continue to be consistent to continue to rise from the downturn of reducing points.
Currently 4 consecutive wins even with tough opponents like Newcastle and Chelsea it is a separate motivation for them so now their job is only to continue to maintain momentum so that this situation does not break which results in their performance faltering.

Most things are not necessarily about saying it but doing it. For the fact that Newcastle United was able to represent in the Champions League and Chelsea didn't even qualify for uefa conference league gives the impression that Newcastle United is a bigger team than Chelsea presently.
Currently, it cannot be denied that Newcastle is certainly bigger and stronger than Chelsea. Indeed, Chelsea used to be a big and strong club, but for several seasons they were really different and their performance continued to decline, not as strong as before. So when we talk about the present, we also have to look at the facts because Newcastle is currently stronger than Chelsea. Even though it's possible that when competing, sometimes Chelsea still plays quite well and is able to fight New Castle strongly too. but the problem is that their consistency is not good and they also have various problems in various lines.

Another match that will definitely be very interesting next week is the match between Liverpool and Arsenal. because this will really decide who will be in first place and also the next runner up. Not only that, what this means is that it is a high-tension match so it will be very tough and will automatically increase their respective prestige.

Since Sean Dyche arrival Everton has been one of the best mid table teams in the league. The point deduction might be too harsh but they certainly are benefiting from it, had it been last season when they were battling relegation it would have been worse. This season the punishment came early and they have taken advantage of it. Since the point reduction was passed Everton have only lost one game which was against Manchester United and have won four consecutively, I think they will survive the fall as I don’t see the three teams that just got promoted surviving this fall.

Well what Manchester united are currently facing now is not a new thing at all because most big teams in English premier league have a couple of stories to tell themselves because I can remember vividly the days when Liverpool were also passing through such times and not only Newcastle but arsenal and Chelsea too have had their own fair share of bad and poor days but yet they all found a way out of it and I also think united case wouldn't be any different because I think a saviour will come and lift them out and I believe its just a matter of time factor.

This is so true, every club has its peak and lows, Manchester United are currently on their lows but they will only bounce back if they change the owner completely and not a share sale. A new breath of owner will effect new changes that the club would definitely need. I don’t believe that there is another coach that will work wonders here if the hierarchy isn’t twerk then it will be same old story

Chelsea is still having Some issues with been consistent with their improvements, actually earlier this season they weren't as good as they are now , when they had series of losses and were struggling to get points , currently I still see Chelsea as still improving an not yet in their very best form for the league this season.

I wonder where you see the improvement you're talking about when it comes to Chelsea. This team is still as bad as they were at the beginning of the season. A team that has won 3 straight matches in all competitions only ones this season is not improving to me.
Chelsea have had only 5 wins out of about 17 league games this season, that's not improvement, that's a very poor team that need a to sit up.
With the amount of money they've spent they can't be performing like this. They're currently losing to Newcastle and it's very difficult to see howbtgeybcan come back in this match.

.
Manchester united will hopefully get better but we aren't certain how long it will take before they will be able to fix all the challenges they are facing at the moment, in as much as this is more like a common phenomenon with big teams in the premier league where they do have times when they experience some down times and later get back on their feet but that of Manchester united seem to have looked like they are doing little or almost nothing about it and the team has suffered this fate for a greater part of this season so far but all Manchester united fans should keep hope alive and expect better days ahead.

Manchester United is just a little better than Chelsea. I can't call that inconsistency because for a team to be inconsistent, they have to be good at times. Manchester United have been poor too. They couldn't qualify out of a group with Copenhagen and Galatasaray. That's not inconsistency, that's bad.
For this season, I don't think they'll be back to any good form. Maybe they may get a little better but they will not be good enough to make it to the top 6. Their problems is not a problem that can be fixed within w short period.

BTC, a coin of today and tomorrow.

Chelsea and Newcastle are unpredictable teams. Chelsea need to focus on the championship as they play awful at times. Newcastle are out of the Champions League and they need to pick themselves up and throw their energies on the EPL. Both teams are in an uncomfortable position. That's why I expect a draw in the upcoming match.
Chelsea come out with full squad to play against Newcastle side that beat the shamelessly in the Premier League this season; I think Chelsea will use this medium to do some revenge by defeating and eliminating them from this cup just they are already eliminated in the Champions League; at the same time, Chelsea will want to do like Manchester United of last season to win at least at least a Cup for the team to shoe for all the players they signed this season.

Most things are not necessarily about saying it but doing it. For the fact that Newcastle United was able to represent in the Champions League and Chelsea didn't even qualify for uefa conference league gives the impression that Newcastle United is a bigger team than Chelsea presently.

So, Newcastle United is coming from the premise of champions league and they will not easily let Chelsea outsmart them. It is HT and Newcastle United is leading Chelsea by 1 goal. It is obviously a defensive mistake but as a wise striker, Wilson took advantage of that to put his side ahead.

It's too early to say that Aston Villa will make it to the Champions League... They are certainly very strong and playing well in the Premier League, but there are other, more experienced clubs here who are also aiming to get into the top 4... Arsenal, Man City, Liverpool, Spurs... All of these clubs are serious competitors for Villa...

It’s just too early to conclude on which position a particular club is going to end the season, Aston villa performance is kind of cool this season, if they can continue with their good performance,  or even make improvement, then their is a chance for them to qualify, but let’s just see how the season will go, we shouldn’t conclude it, just 17 matches have been played so we still have much matches to enjoy.

Do you think Manchester United will be able to make it to top 4 this season? I don’t really think so, Manchester United current performance can’t take them to top 4, I don’t even expect them to end the season in top 5. The clubs which I think will be ending the season in top 4 is Arsenal,  Manchester City, Liverpool, Aston villa or Tottenham. Manchester United is not even in my list.

I think Manchester United lost that champion mentality where they would want to win everything and I blame Ten Hag for that. He already had 1 and a half seasons with this squad and he couldn't do much with it. As @Ahli38 said, the team morale is very down. Nobody seems happy in that squad. Manchester United has nothing going for them currently. They are out of the Champions League, and currently at the 7th position in the premier league.

I think the cure for the United Squad is to sack Ten Hag and have a new manager who can start rebuilding the squad starting from now. If he starts at the next season, half the season will be gone just rebuilding the squad. Currently this season the team has nothing to lose. A new manager would come and rebuild the squad without any pressure. And Slowly they can regain their champion mentality.

I have the same ideas as you, but I don't know who can bring this team back to the old days. After Alex Fergsun, many managers came, but none of them succeeded. Do you have anyone in mind? Which manager do you think can take Manchester United back to the old days? Whoever comes to this team will be under a lot of pressure. I think it's not easy to be the manager of Manchester United.

Chelsea playing against Newcastle tonight is definitely going to be an interesting game to watch which I'm very much in anticipation, Newcastle recently have been experiencing some draw back which I think will not put them in the right frame of mind for tonight encounter against Chelsea, I will consider them both as an average team and wouldn't expect much from them.

Earlier at the beginning of the season when Newcastle was in their very good form and we're winning most of their games so well that they had series of wins consecutively, I would anticipate a win against Chelsea but then recently Chelsea has really been very inconsistent and they win certain games you will least expect and aswell loose in games you doubt they would have won aswell so I can't be sure about their performance to night because Newcastle aswell is in their weakest of form but then Chelsea could possibly win or a draw.
in the previous match Newcastle was able to teach Chelsea to use a big score but at that time the match was at Newcastle home which gave greater enthusiasm and great confidence and this time the match was at Chelsea home, Newcastle chances of winning were smaller and vice versa Chelsea chances of winning were bigger because after all competing at home always gives a huge sense of self confidence which will affect Chelsea performance.

and if we talk about the performance of these two teams, both of them are equally inconsistent, but Newcastle is a little disappointing because at the start of the season they performed very well, but as they go through more matches, the players performance decreases and in today match it is either a draw or Chelsea will win.

If you compare the chances of Aston Villa, Tottenham and Newcastle, then I think that Aston Villa has a better chance. Manchester United is not so far from Newcastle, so even they still have a theoretical opportunity to continue fighting for the top 4, but in the future their gap may increase. Aston Villa is one of the few teams that was able to beat City and Arsenal, so I consider them one of the main contenders, even for the title.
I agree with you, but no matter how good Aston Villa's current performance is, I have to say that Aston Villa will not always be strong enough to compete with all the top teams, especially in the race for the title. I don't see Aston Villa as title contenders, but I do see them as a team who will fight for a place in the Champions League.

In the second half of the season, Manchester City, Tottenham, Arsenal and Liverpool will probably easily beat Aston Villa. This is a possibility that cannot be ignored, even Manchester City, which is the holder of 3 titles in a row, could be defeated by another team, let alone Aston Villa.

This is true, but considering that Aston Villa's performance so far has been very impressive, it is natural for users to speculate that Aston Villa could qualify for the Champions League next season. I think that makes sense after Aston Villa picked up 38 points in 17 games, but no one knows for sure how things will play out in the second half of the season.

Newcastle, Tottenham and Aston Villa will compete for a place in the Champions League next season. I excluded Manchester City, Liverpool and Arsenal because I still really believe they will continue to compete for the title, so the 3 teams I mentioned will fight for Champions League tickets next season.

If I may ask, how does a club focus on one trophy like the champions league or the Europa League? You cannot have a target when you don't have a squad to actualise your goals. Manchester United is not in the race to qualify for the champions league and neither are they in the race to qualify for the Europa League. They are just playing without focus. Whenever it gets to a stage that club will be celebrating draw like a win, you will understand that the club is in trouble.

Chelsea is in the state that I described above. We saw it when they drew with Manchester city 4 : 4, the celebrated like they won and their subsequent matches were disaster. Last week, Manchester United drew with Liverpool and celebrated as if they won the league. Something is wrong.

In fact, everything is clearly illustrated by how Manchester United played in the match against Liverpool. They are like clubs at the bottom of the rankings who are always afraid when facing teams from the top rankings. Well, it's very funny to see how Manchester United can be like this this season. It wasn't just the players who lost focus, but their coach, Erik Ten Heg, also lost focus. It seems like he can't develop his squad to be better. But a scene like this also happened last season when Cristiano Ronaldo was still at Manchester United. And at that time Cristiano Ronaldo was the one who was blamed a lot because he was considered a burden or something like that. So Cristiano Ronaldo then didn't play much and sat more on the bench. And it turns out that this season Erik Ten Heg is doing the same thing. As if repeating last season and bringing it to the current season. But last season all the young players at Manchester United started to get excited and became more motivated to be the best at the club after Cristiano Ronaldo left. And we can see that Manchester United's performance has improved rapidly at that time. So, the problem this season is what can re-ignite the enthusiasm of the Manchester United players. Because from the start they had been competing within the club itself which made the team's performance really chaotic. As if they all became awkward with each other.

The way Chelsea held Manchester City to a draw was actually quite dramatic and very exciting. But the way Manchester United held Liverpool to a draw was really boring from my point of view.

I think Manchester United lost that champion mentality where they would want to win everything and I blame Ten Hag for that. He already had 1 and a half seasons with this squad and he couldn't do much with it. As @Ahli38 said, the team morale is very down. Nobody seems happy in that squad.
